Joe answered the phone and we discussed the work I needed done (chimney sweep and inspection). He gave me a quote over the phone and set up an appointment to come do the work. The price was very fair. When Joe arrived, he went straight to work and cleaned out my chimney. He took the time to caution me about a loose damper and explain how to safely manipulate it. When he was done cleaning it, there was no sign that he had cleaned it - the surrounding floor was spotless. This is where some businesses would take advantage of people: Joe inspected the chimney and advised me that it was in good shape. Other companies might try to drum up business here. Since he was honest, affordable, and professional, I look forward to hiring him for any chimney needs in the future.

He speaks of a team he clearly has lost, he spent 2 hours on the phone on his first day at my home (have video proof of this Joe) He didn't show up one day and had his "daughter" call me to tell me his mother died. Guess what, she didn't! It was far too easy to contact his decent family members he speaks of and ask them for the truth. Seriously praying no one ever trusts this man in their home. We are taking him to court. So many more lies this man told and excuses he made throughout a very annoying 6 weeks dealing with him. The owner of Chimney's seemed like a nice guy. He said he could repair the the fireplace as soon as the very next day. I said "Great, I have to go to work the next day but Id leave the back door open." My daughter leaves her IPAD on the sofa every morning and it is in the same place every evening. The IPAD was suddenly missing. We tore the home apart and searched until the next day before placing blame on anyone. The owner of Chimneys Best said Its impossible that anyone from his crew stole it and he offered for his cousin who is trooper to trace it. Unfortunately, since the IPAD we bought our daughter for her 6th grade graduation never left the confines of our home we did not put the tracer on and it was also unlocked so no matter what the offer was it would be untraceable. We filed a police report but nothing came out of it. I should have taken the day off and been vigilant the entire time but since we moved to a small new town I suppose I was too trusting. I do not think the owner of Chimneys Best stole it but Im 100% sure someone in his crew did. I hope you enjoy a child's graduation present and feel like crap scrolling through a little girls selfies with her cat. Our daughter was in tears. Lesson Learned- Do not be trusting and BEWARE and present with anyone new working on your home.

Was looking to have our liner cleaned, which had not been cleaned in several years. Two men showed…read moreup, took one quick look in the fireplace and decided that there was not way they could clean it, the liner needed to be replace, the insert needed to be cleaned and may not even work after that. Lectured us on how to dry wood for 5 minutes, that they would work up an estimate and that we also needed repointing on the chimney. They charged us $150.00 and left after about 15 minutes. After several days we received an estimate for a total of $22,300.00 to replace the liner, clean the insert and rebuild the fire place, with no credit for the $150.00 that we paid for zero work! Proceeded to have two other companies give estimate and both stated that the liner and insert could be cleaned for under $500.00. Hired one of them and cleaned the insert, the liner and now fireplace works great, like it is new. Not a good experience at all and would not recommend or ever use this company.

We didn't want a huge stove that took over the living room. We wanted somethint that fit in our existing space! We didn't want to convert to gas or electric. I felt so defeated! Then my mom was behind a truck one day. Tri-county Chimey builders. She said it can't hurt to call them. So I did, Frank and his son in law Anthony came out in November todo an estimate and see if they could do it. "This is a BIG Little job he said. we need jack hammers to remove parts of the brick. We need to remove the damper and the flu to run a liner. But it's not impossible." What I heard was he could do it! So I got all my ducks in a row and called him Thursday last week. He came back out to the house same day! He said we could do it Tuesday! Today with lots of tools and experience they made my BIG little job come to life! In the spring they are going to completely re-store our original chimney! Which is stone and not brick! Again a job NO other company is willing todo! They completed masonry work on the chimney, chimney liner, tile knocking, stove installation...in addition I threw a curveball at them by asking (mid-job) if they could build me a completely new hearth!!! And without attitude they said yes..but we just need to figure out the details. They figured it all out!...brought in a great Mason for my stone hearth & I am sitting here tonight with a beautiful fire in front of me! Their workers cleaned up after themselves. They were EXTREMELY knowledgeable in all aspects of this line of work. They are friendly. They never spoke down to me (a female.) as a matter of fact, prior to finding Tri County Chimney, I had another chimney company come in for a quote & BOY, were they trying to take me for a ride & literally using scare tactics...and the follow-up calls to pressure me into a repair contract bordered on harassment!
