Personally, I wasn't interested or really planning on getting a coach because I thought I knew a lot about the ins and outs of lifting. Kevin asked me to have a training session with him and I agreed because I thought it would be pretty cool to lift with a guy like him. While there I went through my normal warmup routine to work up to a heavy single on deadlifts then doing back off sets. I was then told by Kevin that I was yanking on the bar which I didn't think I was. He proceeded to then tell me everything that was wrong with my form, knowing of his extensive background, I wasn't going to tell him that he was wrong. He pulled me aside and basically retaught me all the basics of a proper deadlift form from bracing all the way to pulling. I was so impressed by the end of this that I ended up booking a one on one session with him to fix my form for my other main lifts. Kevin himself, has a strong background, having competed on a national stage and multiple high level competitions in his elite powerlifting career. He has helped me fixed my form for all my main lifts, it is still work in progress to break my old habits, but I feel a lot stronger and more fluid in my movements. Kevin is dedicated to his craft and has a sharp eye to point out flaws and fix them in his clients to deliver the best results. The gym itself isn't the largest space around however it is meant for clients and isn't an open gym. It offers the best equipment around for their clients to borrow and use for their training from belts (lever and prong), bands, squat shoes, calibrated plates, collars, competition racks etc. Even though I've only been with Kevin as my coach, I can tell from seeing the other trainers that they genuinely care and are dedicated to helping and improving their clients in any way they can. Every single person is here incredibly qualified to do their job and I would recommend True Fitness and Nutrition to anyone out there.

    I signed up for a package deal in late 2015 which had a combination of personal training sessions…read moreand monthly wellness advising sessions. Wellness Advising - 1 STAR - I had multiple changes in wellness advisors, even on a monthly basis (these sessions are only done once a month) due to turnover at the company. There was a gap between wellness advisors without a re-assignment. Furthermore, lack of transition between wellness advisors regarding my past records, discussions, and calendar availability - Measurements not necessarily aligned with my stated fitness goals resulting in poor progress tracking, in addition to lack of consistency in what wellness advisors measure. I do not have a reliable month-to-month comparison of my results. - Very frustrating experience overall. I cancelled my remaining wellness sessions by converting them into personal training sessions Personal Training - 3/4 STAR - The initial workout program I started was not fully aligned with my stated fitness goals during the consultation. For this reason, my results did not meet expectations based on training 2x per week with Bounce Fitness and 1-2x per week on my own. - The program was adjusted when I voiced my concerns with Bary approximately 2-3 months into the program. I started seeing results 1-2 months after the adjustment. - The trainers themselves are great - Colin and Alireza (Ali). They have strong backgrounds and are committed to helping clients reach their fitness goals. Overall, I feel that I wasted the initial 3 months following a program that was not tailored to my stated fitness goals. Most clients have weight loss targets, whereas my goal was to gain lean muscle mass, and my program was not tailored accordingly from the start. I was already in good physical shape such that I did not need a long ramp-up period to learn exercises and increase my stamina. This combined with the ineffectiveness of the wellness sessions leads me to not be a repeat customer after my few remaining sessions are completed. I have discussed all the above with Bounce Fitness and understand that the issues are being addressed. I hope that future customers are able to have a better experience as a result of the changes implemented to the programs.

I have worked with a handful of different trainers over the past year and have found a "keeper" in the Bounce Fitness team. They are knowledgeable, reliable, encouraging, motivating... and so much more! And, you get fantastic and consistent fitness and WEIGHT LOSS results. Jon is not only professional, incredibly knowledgeable (about exercises, movement, anatomy, fitness, etc) but he also has an incredible energy and spirit that could motivate a dog to do a burpee. His workouts are intense and hardcore, yet he recognizes his client's limits and tailors the workout to their needs and capabilities. In addition, his workouts are filled with a variety of exercises to keep you engaged- the session never feels like its "inchworming" by. Christina has transformed healthy eating and drinking into something habitual and doable. She holds your hand through the stress of dieting and makes sure you're on track with regular emails/texts and monitoring your food journal. Her ability to address her client's nutritional needs and recommend healthy recipes is unparalleled. And, her wellness sessions keep you "in-check" and encouraged. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

    Going back to what was once a great gym has been very disappointing!…read more * Jacuzzi is consistently cold and unpleasant. * Shower water is always cold * Floors are frequently flooded with standing water * Bathrooms have leaks, strong odors, and unsanitary conditions * Broken doors and damaged toilet seats * Towels are old, discolored, and unhygienic I gave three stars only because the equipment is good and the classes are well-managed and run smoothly. I hope these issues are addressed soon. If not, I will be forced to cancel my membership.

    It's super dirty on all machines and I hope you like soccer practice because they share a facility…read moreafter work hours with soccer teams. That then makes one of the stretching areas unusable. They also have swim team after work and school hours so you are sharing a pool with toms of young kids. It's dirty in bathrooms, the sinks are always dirty, all bathroom floors are wet, and showers are covered in hair. Disgusting! their cleaning people pass over issues rather than handling. Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. The one good part is the GM there is always kind but their upper management seriously needs to fix these issues or just close the gym at this point. It's embarrassing

Turns out Frank is an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) pro who trains competitive bodybuilders, but he's also a (regular) fitness trainer (what I need!) and nutritional coach (which I needed because said health changes required dietary changes... #thanksthiroid). I'm not trying to get onstage! But I am trying to be the best & strongest version of myself at this new stage in my life, and Frank has been tremendous in helping me set realistic goals, while putting the fire to my feet to help me achieve them. Sometimes I think he cares more about my goals than me, and it's that passion to help change not just folsk bodies, but they're lifestyle in such a positive and healthy waythat attracted me to this program. I'm not new to this, but the difference between my previous training and Treaufitness is he trains online, in person one-on-one, and/or in small groups, and is affiliated with several gyms, so the accessibility is phenomenal. Frank goes over your health concerns and issues alongside your dietary needs in detail so that he can build a successful nutrition and macro plan specific to you and your goals. Whether in person, or online, you have to check in once a week so that your progress can be appropriately assessed, and so that you can be held accountable (yeah, I needed this part! and I know a lot of people out there are the same). ... And for those of you familiar with (and liked) there crossfit & oly community, Treaufitness gives you that same 'a-famiky-that-grinds-together' vibe. Prices are fair but premium, and his results are undeniable as long as you are committed to the program and committed to yourself (and consistent!). I would most definitely recommend Treaufitness for both casual (pretend) athletes like myself, people rehabbing or just getting into fitness and still need professional instructions to movements, or folks that are looking to get on stage for physique competition.

I knew I had to make a lifestyle change and that started with finding a personal trainer. I was seeking a trainer who was experienced, could help me lose weight ( and keep the weight off), hold me accountable and provide me with the knowledge ( use of machines/weights, nutritional etc). Coach Frank has provided all of that and more! He is always available to answer questions, consistently provides direction and encouragement. He trains other individuals who compete ( and won top titles) or wish to compete. And for me, working out with them only encourages me to push even harder. Between having Frank and the team as support, I definitely feel unstoppable. If you are looking to get back on track, lose weight, tone it up and/or compete, Coach Frank is the truth and you will not be disappointed. Glad to be on the team and look forward to seeing my changes over the next upcoming months!
