I called back again and said "sir before you hang up on me. A construction company has your number listed to contact. Is this you?" He said "WHO IS THIS" i said "is this the construction company because, if it's not, someone has your numbered listed on their website to get a quote." He screamed at me "Yes i have a construction company. I don't even know you!!!! why would I tell you anything?!?! Are you a client or what?!" all the while I'm saying "woooahhh" audibly as I'm so caught off guard because he is just going off saying a few other things. I said "I was going to be a potential one, but not anymore..." he yelled "well good!!! I have a thousand things, I wouldn't take your job anyway, SO FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!" And hung up. That was the most bizarre and disrespectful thing, especially as they tell you to call and then literally attack you. I can't even describe in words the anger in his voice- it was very scary for anyone to be spoken to like that, especially a woman by a man. Someone from another number called after and asked if I called the office and I said yes and I was just treated more disrespectfully than I ever have been. She said they've been getting a lot of prank calls so it's frustrating?? Not the customers fault when they literally tell people to call that number (screenshot attached). Plus at the end he knew I wasn't a prank call but a potential client, and he continued to scream at me telling me to find someone else. I wouldn't go near it.
