I highly recommend Center for Pelvic Wellness! After I gave birth my back was killing me. I…read morewaited about 7 months before going to the doctor because I was a bit overwhelmed with new momhood :) It had gotten to the point where it hurt so bad I could barely get out of bed and had to pull myself up clinging to the side of the crib. I went to a back dr. and had an mri and he said it was my sacroiliac joint causing the pain. He recommended Center for Pelvic Wellness and I made the appointment right away. My PT was one of the owners, Shannon, and I absolutely adore her! She knew exactly what to do and my back started feeling better after a couple of treatments. She gave me new exercises to add each week and those, coupled with her myofascial release/massage (I believe that's what it's called) and very gentle adjustments, have been wonderful. Don't be scared off when I say adjustments....this is not at all the same thing as what chiropractors do. It was very subtle, intentional and gentle but it made a huge difference. Shannon is a total sweetheart too! She's not only smart and incredibly skilled but she makes you feel totally at ease. I've also met the other owner, Josephine, and she's really sweet as well. I was walking out of a session one day at the same time as another client and the client told me when she started she could barely walk into the first appointment. She said she lives really far away and couldn't understand why her dr. wanted her to drive so far to do physical therapy...but once she started with this group she totally understood and loves them too. When I finally got the bill however, it became $105 per visit. I wouldn't have minded if this number was given to me upfront but the fact that I attempted multiple times to find out what I would be paying and didn't find out till several appointments in is disappointing.
