Back in the 80's I remember something called a Photo Hut. You could pull through a drive thru window & drop off rolls film & pick them up that same day. Well, I for one miss the days of old. Yes, there are still people who shoot film (I am one of them), but unless you're developing & scanning yourself it takes a week or longer to get film back from these labs spread across the country. That is until now. While we have a few labs in Phoenix, only Strap Film Lab offers SAME DAY development and scanning! Yes, you hear that right. You can shoot, develop, and scan images all in the same day, just like the olden days. Strap is located in downtown Mesa just south of the Nile, and they're awesome. I come in, drop my film off and it's done processing within an hour or two and it looks GREAT! I thought film photography would be one of my more expensive hobbies and it turns out it's really not! Strap has different tiers for getting your film developed and all are reasonably priced. On top of that they also do prints and you can request to keep your negatives.
