Newly discovered gem! Old school butcher shop with great employees. I decided to attempt to make pho from scratch...(more on that later ) and needed some good beef bone for my broth base. I went to a few grocery stores and none of them had what I needed. So I searched the innanetz for help, as one does when in need, and she showed me this establishment on page 3. They have a great selection of meats and prime cuts. They also have some flintstone looking dogbones in the freezer for your good boy. Check them out! P.S. I felt like such a creep taking pictures because it was not busy and I could feel the employees eyes on me so I just snapped a few at hip level, trying to be inconspicuous. read more

I needed beef knuckle bones which are not easily available from many area meat cutters. these folks had them, we're reasonably priced, quick and were friendly . they were even willing to cut them a bit smaller for my dogs. I like these butchers , very kind and customer friendly professional service , however their prices can be a little less. In Hartford CT where I'm from we can get a bag of goat meat for about $20.00. And ox tails about the same price. Oh yeah, they cut the meat up in cubes so all you have to do is fix it up muh. (Jamican slang for man) read more

I have been searching for a good meat shop as an alternative to the meat counter in the grocery store. Someplace where the ribs are not previously frozen and the cuts have more variety than the packaged stuff and is well presented in clean and appealing environment. This place partly fits the bill. Ribs were not frozen. But the steaks in the case were thinly cut and not very attractive. The slab bacon looked like it had been around way too long, and otherwise the meat case needed attention. Also the place needs to be cleaned up, including the entry way which is worn and rather soiled. Guess I will keep looking. read more

I was led to this place by a fellow Yelp-er, and I'm so thankful for that. After one visit, I can already tell that this will be my go-to meat place. They have a wonderful selection, are friendly and informative, and have fair prices. As a bonus, they have a good selection of grass-fed meats (beef, buffalo, and elk!), as well as antibiotic free poultry (the turkey sounds amazing). They even have nitrate free bacon! THESE are the kind of places we need in our local towns and neighborhoods. Good, family owned places that know and cater to their customers. I have been meaning to go here for a while, but for some reason it just took a while (and its often convenient to get your meat at the grocery store). Well now that I have I have to say I am impressed big time. They pretty much just have meat - pork, beef and chicken products. They have a very wide range of whatever you need in those categories. I got some local amish chicken, grass-fed beef, and a couple pieces of their sausage (which he gave me for free because I was a first time customer). All was great quality and the sausage really surprised me. No question the best store bought in town. Its tucked away in a strip plaza so keep your eye out - its right next to the big lots. Also if you don't see what you want just ask...they are very accommodating and can pretty much do whatever you want regarding a meat product. read more

I was beyond pleased with the service I received, and the prices were also great. The man behind the counter was especially helpful and knowledgeable. You also get to pick the weights you would like and how they are packaged (i.e. one lb packs, or all together). The fact that they carry grass-fed beef, buffalo, and elk is a huge plus! My family is new to the area and this was one of the girst places that we tried. The meat is very fresh and reasonably priced and the first time my husband went they were nice enough to give him a few samples to try (who does that anymore!?). So well hidden, so many great meats! Located in the plaza near Big Lots and Save A Lot. I had no idea this place was even here until I read about them in the Canton newspaper. Very knowledgeable staff, very helpful, great product, great prices. I went in and described a meal I wanted to make, and was given the perfect cut of meat and even some tips on making my meal successful. They sell a nice & VERY INEXPENSIVE cookbook there, too. Fresh cut bacon, sliced any way you like. I think I ate 4 pounds of their bacon in the first month after I discovered this shop. Family owned and operated. read more

These guys are awesome. Needed a hard to find (in the north anyway) Skirt steak for fajitas. And a lot of Skirt steak as I was cooking for 50. They were able to track it down and get it prepped for me on fairly short notice. Great service, great meat, great family business! read more
