Conclusion they gave me: 1.Get an oil change and use a different filter. (Just had a fresh oil change before coming here with a genuine hengst filter) 2. Bad drive shaft ( this was incorrect as i had another shop double check to confirm, it was a exhaust shield that was bent out of place) 3. leaking radiator (this was also incorrect after getting another shop to double check it, it was incorrectly bled system from a coolant line change) Dan then told me it was going to take more than $10,000 to fix the car to make it drivable. After the whole thing I wrote a negative review on google maps as well as asked around online to see if the cost of diagnosis was normal. Dan then personally called and texted me threatening legal action against for defamation. In good conscience, I can't ever recommend anyone to this "BMW specialist" shop after this experience.

If you've ever looked for parts for an oddball or vintage car (or a vintage oddball car) you know that it can be a challenge to find people who actually want to help you. But not at Bumper to Bumper. Everyone was extremely helpful even though I was asking for parts that weren't exactly easy to track down. It's truly shame there aren't more of them around!
