I called a very popular roofer in the area for an estimate and had the worst experience. He left his car running, looked at the roof from the ground, and said "you need a whole new roof", and left. My home inspector said absolutely not, call someone else. Another estimate came from a company that didn't even come to the house. I told them what my inspector thought was the issue and he quoted me a price solely based on that. Feeling super defeated, I ended up calling Ryan at Elegant Exteriors for a 3rd and final consult. I definitely saved the best for last because Ryan was phenomenal. He was up on the roof before I knew it taking pictures and surveying everything. He showed me what he felt was the issue and his prices were very reasonable. He was such a pleasure to work with too- just a genuinely nice, helpful, and honest guy. Buying a house is so stressful and when you run into issues like the roof, you want someone you can trust and who will reduce the stress. That person is definitely Ryan.
