I would have given this 5 stars if weren't for the ski & snowboard pickup. We booked online for skis and snowboards, and lift tickets for 6 people. When we got to the pickup center, I went to the counter to pick them up. The people couldn't any of the equipment and tickets except mine. I was told to go to the ski pickup, but the person there told me that there has been a lot of people, and they might not have pulled my equipment out yet. Meanwhile, the rest of my family was filling up information on the computers to get their pink slips, which was going to get them their skis and snowboards. One person who was snowboarding couldn't find the snowboarding rental because it was located in a different building. Otherwise, the rest of Stratton Mountain was great. They have great ski and Snowboard coaches. I went on the the magic carpet, and sometimes it stops. I also went to Easy Street, a green trail. It was fun and not too steep. In fact, some parts of it is flat and icy. This is a great place to ski and snowboard.

Was very upset when I realized Stratton does not use pet friendly salt in the village. I had to carry my dog all the way back to my car.

Horrible conditions today! All ice. What a waste of $125...$125!!! And for people who come from far away, the snow guarantee is a joke.

Always checking in and paying attention. Griffin and his counter part was great! If you're looking for an advanced tour this might not be your thing. Highly recommend the earliest slot so you get to see the sunset! Our pics were post ride.

We had a great time on the ATV tour with Stratton Adventures. First off, read their website about…read morewhere to go. We had lunch in the village and then got back in our cars and followed the GPS to a spot where there were no people. Come to find out we were just steps away while eating lunch, so we quickly doubled back. It's on the mountain not offsite. We were staying in Killington and there is an ATV tour company there, but there was no availability. We called Stratton Adventures and they were able to squeeze us in on the 2:00 summit tour and I was so glad they did! I think we got the better tour because you go to the top of the actual mountain, and see it all, the ski lifts, mountain bikers, hikers, etc. It just seems more interesting than a course in Killington that's not on the ski slope. We had two guides, one in front and one bringing up the rear. They got us fitted for helmets, explained the equipment, and off we went. It was definitely family friendly but you also had some spots where you could really open up if you wanted to. My husband drove the whole time and we had a blast. As long as you are both licensed drivers you can switch drivers if you want to. The guides showed us some bear prints at the summit and had a lot of great stories. It was a good mix of riding and photo opportunities. We got lucky, it was a beautiful day to be on the mountain. I highly recommend Stratton Adventures. Even if you're staying in the Killington area as we were, it was worth the drive. Fun experience! I'd love to go back in the winter and try the snowmobile tour.

As the website describes: a 14-acre landscape where you can experience the great circle of life while traveling through 18 unique sculptures and pieces of art. Inspired by several gardens in Europe, the installations symbolize the journey from birth to death and beyond. So cool, don't mis this if you're in the area. My nephews (8 & 10) & I signed up for the tubing trip this morning. When they dropped us off, we…read morewere told that it would be best if we walked out a ways to the second cove in order to get the best current out into the water. We did that, with our cooler raft in tow. However, i ended up pushing my nephews in their tubes for about a half mile (past the second cove) before we were able to get going. This took about an hour and a half. About 3/4 the way through our time on the water, we heard thunder. I realized they hadn't covered what to do in the case of bad weather in the briefing. So thankfully I was able to call the company from my tube & they advised us to get out of the water if we heard thunder & wait 15 min before getting back in. We heard thunder in and off for about 45 min so stayed out of the water on some rocks while we waited. I felt like we were bothering the company when they called & they didn't seem at all concerned, telling me it was a passing shower. After we returned to the water, we saw some lightening so I tried getting us over to shore. The water was getting choppy & we weren't going anywhere so I got out of my tube & pulled all of us to shore. We built a small shelter using our tubes & tried to stay dry but at this point, it was pouring. I called the company again & they said there was nothing they could do & couldn't come pick us up based on our location. I checked my GPS & we were .6 miles away from our stopping location. The company told us to start walking back along the shore. We did that and along the way my nephew slipped on the rocks because it was still pouring. Finally, when we made it back, we had to drag all the gear up the hill (which was mentioned during the briefing but we weren't expecting to do this in the pouring rain. When we got back, I expressed my disappointment that they'd send anyone out with conditions like that expected as I truly felt our lives were in danger. The woman said no one was blaming anyone and I corrected her. Yes, I blame the company for putting our lives in danger. She explained that they had no idea about the weather conditions and that this system just popped up out of nowhere. I can understand that but at no point did anyone offer to come & help us. They could have easily walked from where they were & helped us walk back. I would not recommend this company due to the lack of safety measures & how isolated we felt when conditions got bad.
