We had lunch in the village and then got back in our cars and followed the GPS to a spot where there were no people. Come to find out we were just steps away while eating lunch, so we quickly doubled back. It's on the mountain not offsite. We were staying in Killington and there is an ATV tour company there, but there was no availability. We called Stratton Adventures and they were able to squeeze us in on the 2:00 summit tour and I was so glad they did! I think we got the better tour because you go to the top of the actual mountain, and see it all, the ski lifts, mountain bikers, hikers, etc. It just seems more interesting than a course in Killington that's not on the ski slope. We had two guides, one in front and one bringing up the rear. They got us fitted for helmets, explained the equipment, and off we went. It was definitely family friendly but you also had some spots where you could really open up if you wanted to. My husband drove the whole time and we had a blast. As long as you are both licensed drivers you can switch drivers if you want to. The guides showed us some bear prints at the summit and had a lot of great stories. It was a good mix of riding and photo opportunities. We got lucky, it was a beautiful day to be on the mountain. I highly recommend Stratton Adventures. Even if you're staying in the Killington area as we were, it was worth the drive. Fun experience! I'd love to go back in the winter and try the snowmobile tour.

My husband and I had THE BEST TIME! Mud was flying and so were we as we caught some air a few times. A note to anyone who may be a little apprehensive about driving the ATV, don't be! We got to the top, stopped for pictures and our tour guide was a true photographer, catching us all jumping on the second try! We switched drivers with the two doubles on the way down so everyone gets to drive, and once we got back down, the guide brought us to the ground across and let us go high speed for three laps!!!! Great experience, lots of fun and definitely a highlight of our trip! After mid October, they get the grounds ready for snowmobile.

We went on the coldest day of the year in 2025, and it was horrendous. I couldn't feel my hands, toes or face. Bundle up, wear layers, bring hand and toe warmers, boots, triple socks. LAYERS ARE YOUR FRIEND! LOL. The cold is nature, the business was top quality. Klaus was really helpful and funny. This is an activity for all ages, friends, family, kids, bf and gf. Just a tip, the snowmobiles are pretty heavy and hard to drive (in my opinion).
