It was a great experience and our guide Ethan was extremely helpful and also very friendly. He made sure we knew what we were were doing and talked with us throughout the whole experience. Afterwards they served us a great complimentary meal along with the rafting photo slideshow. It was delicious and had a lot of great choices. Overall this was an insanely fun experience and we can't wait to go again!

I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was about the area we were rafting in and felt like I was in excellent hands. There were 4 rafts in total on our trip. They have plenty of changing areas for after your trip and the food was ready when we arrived back to the headquarters. It was very foggy the day of our trip so they gave us our photos for free which was a nice gesture. They have a merch shop as well if you want to take back a souvenir. I would recommend them to anyone.

What's more is, I was "that lady" who brought a waterproof phone protector with a neck strap to take pictures with my family and friends. I was also "that lady" who took the neck strap off to avoid tan lines...needless to say, my phone went into the Hudson River without me realizing it! Ethan and his crew were so kind during my personal meltdown, mostly due to me kicking myself for being so careless. They had a group of 80 after us, but assured me they would all look out for it as they had an idea where I dropped it. We called every half hour in the hopes one of the other crews may have discovered the phone, and at 4:50, my husband's phone rang with the amazing news that the phone was found safely! All 3 of our guides looked and I cannot express how grateful I am to them all!! Personal tragedy aside, our entire group said the lazy river was the best part of our trip, and we have already recommended AAC to friends who are traveling to Lake George in the coming weeks! For 15 miles our raft of 7 plus Russ did a great job of guiding our boat through the rapids safely. Seriously, Adirondac does an excellent job and for $90/person it s a steal of a deal! We met at 9am, on the water by about 10am, lunch is provided, and you get off tbe water by about 3pm. They even stop at a big rock in the middle of the river that you can jump off of for no additional cost! Staying up by MCLA, my fiancee and were looking for a leisurely, sensible and cost effective…read moreadventure. This canoeing company fit the profile. Calling ahead, they answered both phone calls immediately and were cool and efficient in their response- young guy (maybe early 20's?)- nice guy/kid. When we got there, it was a simple and painless process. Get your vest, choose some paddles (both in great, solid quality) and get on our kayak, which the employee had in the water, waiting. He gave us the basics and off we went. On our return paddle in, he saw us coming in and came up to the docking area and helped us both off. On our way up the little walk I turned back to see the view of the water when not even 2 minutes passed by and the employee had already lifted the kayak and started washing it off and cleaning it. It shows that this guy and the company care about quality and presentation as well as customer feeling and well being. Kudos to them. Loved the experience. Take a chance folks, you won't be dissappointed.

This was EASILY the best thing I've ever done!…read more Same thing I did in Puerto Rico, I couldn't decide which company to go with so I called several and first one who answered got my business. I'm glad it was Costa Sol Rafting. Make sure you book at least a day in advance, a week or 2 during busy season. They will pick you up so don't bother driving. We were at a Hostel in San Jose. First of all. I don't care what anyone says. Our guides Jorge and Ronnie kept us alive. 3 out of the 6 of us fell out of the boat during our 1st class 4 rapids. I was lucky enough to have stayed on the boat so I was privileged to see Jorge and Ronnie work under pressure. They were absolute experts while shouting commands at those in the water and at us in the boat. We all made it out! Sounds scary? Look people. You're white water rafting class 1 to 4 rapids. So don't complain how dangerous it is. Go to the rivers that offer only cute class ones if class 4 is not your thing. If my rescue story isn't enough reason to choose Costa Sol Rafting, not sure what you're looking for. All the companies raft the same Pacuare River. BUY THE DISK!!! Check out my pics. Your camera or Gopro will not duplicate the skills of Ronnie. He was an amazing camera man! He also did barrel rolls in his kayak. Such a beast. Oh and they feed you before AND after! Yay!
