Just get back today from a quick root canal follow up visit with Dr. Burgener @ Wheaton office ... Couldn't be more happier with the result of root canal.( All the issues with tooth were fixed in just one previous visit ) ************************************************************ Below more details: ( For patients whoever want to know more) The Situation with my tooth was complicated (before root canal).. During the first visit , Dr. Burgener immediately point out there was serious Periodental Pocket around the tooth..If it is left untreated.. The tooth probably can not be saved eventually (even after root canal)... From that moment , I realize why she become Excellent Surgeon..(Looking at the root causes of a issue, foresee all other problem in the mouth that will cause future root canal failure...) Gum issues/ Disease is a different function(Periodentist) I was expecting her to say " After Root canal.. Suggest to see Periodentist) But she never say anything like that... To my surprise, As a talented Endodontist, She come up with a creative solution( Special filling with medication to cover the gum area).. So here I am , Within 2 Weeks after root canal.. My Gum @ that Problem tooth area come back( almost fully recovered) As we all know, Periodental pockets / Disease are difficult to treat...and very very slow recovery.. or in certain cases.. Can not be reversed at all. I feel I owe Dr Burgener a Big "Thank you".. She fix both the tooth problem( Root canal) and Periodental issue( Gum Pocket) in one visit for root canal. He uses a topical anesthetic before the novacaine shots (the most uncomfortable part of the procedure, really, and he has a very light touch with administering injections, providing gentle verbal encouragement simultaneously) and tells you about feeling some pressure or the "grumbly drill" etc. Dr. Brandys has many years of experience and is attuned to providing a positive patient experience by his supportive bedside manner. At the end of the day, there are plenty of competent endodontists in the area; the hassle, unprofessionalism, lack of integrity, and surprise bills are not worth a visit here. I had a root canal done in December and paid over 1k for my patient portion on the date of service. Few months later, I received another bill for over 1k (insurance portion). After trying to contact billing multiple times (they are always unavailable), they said that the insurance denied the claim for a reason that is unknown to the office and they had never seen before. I asked why they didn't investigate further why the claim was actually denied before handing me another bill, and only then they said they will look into it and get back to me a few days later. That was a month ago, and I just tried calling back to speak with billing for an update since they don't reply to emails. The front office (again) transferred me to a voicemail, and I have not been able to get a hold of billing. Every time I call the front office, they transfer me to the billing voicemail without even picking up the phone.

Trying to belittle me was such a immature and ugly look on a person that needs to have a good personality to make herself look good already. If I talked to a patient like she did I would expect to get fired and with good reason. Stay clear of this place, not only is the front desk girl combative but shouldn't be working with the public and has no social skills.
