One year ago, I had my first appointment with Dr. Erica at The Dental Studio. I've had a number of bad and painful dental experiences in my youth, all which have contributed to my having extreme anxiety when going to the dentist. After doing much research, I found The Dental Studio and was impressed by the many great reviews. I've had lots of work done since then, and the combination of sedation, nitrous oxide and their gentle hands have made my appointments enjoyable. Today, I had an appointment for a checkup, and I honestly had ZERO anxiety before the appointment. I no longer dread going to the dentist! And, I also appreciate how their office does not feel like a sterile medical office; it's cozy and decorated like your friend's home. They also think of every possible comfort for the patient, including sunglasses to alleviate the glare of overhead lights, a weighted blanket, a tv for watching any favorite show during your procedure, and more. Even more important is that Dr. Erica and her wonderful team take time to explain everything, including what they are doing and why. They want you to be as comfortable as possible. And there's a complete lack of judgment. In the past, I've had absolutely no control over my dental experiences. The work was performed with very little concern for my pain and comfort. I've even experienced being held down during a difficult procedure with no painkillers and the same thing happened with my son when he was three. Marathon Man, anyone? At The Dental Studio, I feel that I have regained that control and that I am more than just a number. It is truly a patient-oriented experience here. I wish more of the medical profession would take notes from The Dental Studio. I also wish I could give them 10 stars!!! To show how much I love this practice, they are out of my insurance network. SCAM DENTISTS, I wanted to switch dentist to be closer to home for my cleanings that I have had for 30+ years. I went in for a up front PAID cleaning only to be told after they did a review they would NOT do a cleaning unless it was a deep cleaning and would not refund my money paid for the cleaning I agreed to pay. Their greedy up charge was not necessary or accurate but the payout they wanted was very real costing me hundreds with nothing being done. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I've never seen such a beautiful dental office! From the second I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest receptionist who made easy, thoughtful, and casual conversation (I felt like I was seeing an old friend) and after sitting for maybe 5 minutes (didn't mind because I was admiring the mini bar and adorable decor) I was welcomed by Dr. Erica who introduced herself as Erica. Dr. Erica brought me into the exam room which had a TV scrolling an aquarium right in front of the seat/bed and from there we got started on the exam. All of the equipment she used was top of the line and easy on my mouth and she was gentle and informative. Every step of the way she filled me in on what to expect and what all of her terminology meant. During this appt she also showed me what my itemized bill would be based on the extra procedures I was going to have. It's like they know that patients freak out when they hear about surprise procedures! I felt like I learned more at this office than I had my whole life. Aside from her being extremely professional, she treated me like I was her friend. We talked about kids, school, business, and life. I feel like I would and could go out with her for a girls night! When my appointment was finished, I was walked to the checkout desk which was cozy and comfortable and offered seating, I met with Maggie who just so happens to be a cutie as well as everyone else in the office! Dr. Erica walked back and said goodbye and told me how THANKFUL she was that I met with her and she wished me well on my own business ventures. I'm pretty sure she said she felt like she was talking to an old friend also. (Basically in love) Maggie walked me through the payment process once again and then scheduled a follow up. This dentist office is anything but typical - in the best way! The lounge (waiting area) makes this happen the moment you walk in. It feels like more of a dental spa! From my greeting at the door to my walk out, I felt cared for. Every member of their staff made sure to introduce themselves and explain everything they did or were talking about. Had my first appointment today and I can actually say I had a good time! Dentist appointments can be so daunting and quite frankly scary even as an adult but The Dental Studio will change that. As you enter you're welcomed by the smiles of the sweet staff and can help yourself to a beverage bar. The decor is with the times, giving the office a modern look with a warm, home like feel. Dr. Kight came out to welcome me herself and we started the appointment just getting to know each other. After that we discussed concerns and goals and then Dr. Kight gave an overview of what to expect at the appointment. Her explanations were so straightforward and she provided options, yes OPTIONS to allow YOU to have the power to decide what you'd like to do. No bullying here! Best dentist I've ever been to, no doubt about it. I just had my 3rd cleaning here & have had some other work done, and every experience I've had has been nothing short of amazing. I actually look forward to coming to the dentist now when it used to be something I just "needed" to tend to. I've never waited more than MAYBE 5 minutes in the waiting room (although I wouldn't mind it even if I did because it's so nice?!) and am in and out insanely quick. A good dentist is hard to find. I have had my share of bad dentists throughout my life. This place is great, they are very on top of everything such as understanding the different insurance plans, having detailed and itemized bills, etc. Dr. Kight is also great, as are the hygienists. My insurance is changing next year and Dr. Kight is out of network for me but I am willing to pay potentially more so that I may continue visiting her practice. read more

I'm that guy who avoids the dentist like the plague. With that being said, my kids had been here awhile back and they liked it and it's very close and convenient, so I decided I couldn't avoid it anymore. Scheduling was very easy through their website - the check in process was easy and I felt like I was treated with respect. Erica and her team were patient with me and made sure I understood what was being done, and the bonus was that I got to watch the Wimbledon tournament while they worked. I first went here after a 10 year drought of not going to the dentist so I was definitely nervous. Not just cause of how bad they might tell me my teeth are from not going but just basic dentist jitters. After 5 minutes of being there I was definitely much more relaxed. Everyone there was so nice and friendly. Dr Erica was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. It went so well that after my follow up(only 2 cavaties!) Where do I begin? Firstly, I began seeking info about a long awaited Invisalign process I had been thinking about doing for years. I left my appt with a comprehensive plan with a detailed budget and goal projection. It was painless, quick, and every portion of it was addressed bw Dr. Kight and myself. She was very straightforward and had answers to every single question I had. We ran into covid delays (what else is new) which set back my finish date. This obviously was nobody's fault. Nevertheless, Dr. Kight went to bat with the Invisalign people more than once on my behalf. I really don't think our goal would have been accomplished if she hadn't interceded. After such a successful outcome with that result I immediately became a patient in all other phases of my dental needs. All of the reviews on Dr. Knight's site speak for themselves beginning with the warm welcome at the front of the practice with her hand picked wonderful staff. There isn't a single stone unturned from start to finish. The hygienists Ive met with are also very thorough, pleasant to chat with, and they cover dental health to a tee. If you hate going to the dentist- please do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Erica Kight and her team. Why do we think (and settle for) our dentist's office to be at best a clinical and sterile environment devoid of personal decor and atmosphere or at worst a 70's decor train wreck of dated looking decor with hideously ugly maroon color lobby chairs? An aquarium in the lobby is not enough to make it welcoming or relaxing. The Dental Studio is a much needed breathe of fresh air in the dental industry. Not only is the entire office more stylish/cooler than anything around- more importantly they really seem to try to anticipate all of the reasons people hate the dentist and do what they can to make your experience more relaxing. Noise cancelling headphones (yes try these!) with relaxing music, Netflix or TV, etc are available. In addition, Dr. Kight and her staff are friendly and have a kind bedside manner never chiding you harshly for neglecting to floss. They have state of the art equipment and it is super clean. The other positive reviews are spot on. This is family owned newish business that is dearly loved and it shows with their attention to detail. They are on a mission one patient at a time to make dental visit experiences less scary/stressful.
