I wanna start off by saying this is only my 2nd review I've ever done. My other review was…read morepositive, this one is not. My daughter just got done getting her braces off. We had a great experience all the way until our dog ate our daughter's retainer. We fully understood that we would have to pay something. I called over to set an appt up and she asked me if we had the molds. I was completely confused. I send my daughter in on her own (did this with my other two girls) so she can be forced to talk to adults and she also sets her own appointments based on her schedule. Gives them a little bit of adulting in a control environment. My daughter was 12 when she first started coming here. She is now 14. After the conversation with the secretary at the front I realized they gave the mold to my daughter. At least that's what they told me. I would never know cause I wasn't there or informed. I assumed if there was important information to be discussed, they would reach out via text or phone. Or better yet, they would ask my daughter to have a parent come in knowing she can't drive. So they must be in the parking lot. That way an adult can hear this important information. They only shared this with my daughter. We have no clue what happened to it. I can only guess she threw the bag away with the molds in it. Again she's 14. She probably retained 1/2 of the information they told her. The secretary explained to me if we had the molds we would have received a discount. Every little bit helps after you just paid a shit ton of money for braces. She explained to me without the molds it's full price. So I asked point blank how this is my fault. NOTHING was discussed with an adult. I didn't sign off on anything. She kept making excuses for their miscommunication. She was attempting to try and turn this conversation on me. I told her the problem I'm having is you keep trying to blame me, but as the parent who paid for this and was never once called or communicated with about the mold. Not emailed, not messaged....nothing. Is still having to pay for the lack of communication by the company. Bottom line beware of this company. Unfortunately they made the mistake and she admitted in the end. I told her moving forward she needs to communicate with her team that they need a parent at the closing when they receive the retainer. So this issue doesn't happen again. Her response was, I totally agree. I said funny you agree. Because you're admitting your office has communication problems, but yet earlier in our conversation you kept putting the blame on me. So damn frustrating!! So disappointed I am having to pay for incompetence of this staff.

After receiving a recommendation I took my son to G&G Pediatric Dentistry and they could not have been any nicer or more genuine. They were able to get an exam, cleaning, fluoride, and xrays done without me even being in the room. They are the first practice that has been able to do this amount of work in one visit. They are amazing.

I had told my mom to please call and reschedule my son's appointment as she is not only emergency contact but she is also the contact I have on paperwork to discuss medical with. I had to resort to her as I started a new job this week and I personally didn't think I'd make it to call during hours. When she called the rude ass man answered and blew her off as if she didn't matter. She was asking questions as if there were Saturdays available? his response..... "well yea but booked for awhile" with smart ass tone. second she asked oh okay is there anything after 5 that my daughter would be able to do? his response...rudely "I can't really talk about the schedule" OKAY FIRST OFF she stated no problem my daughter will call... so why the hell couldn't he answer two simple questions?? So for him someone should train him that when answering the phone that is YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION to new clients and your current clients. For the young lady that made me make the decision to LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK. When I as the MOTHER called she didn't want to help accommodate at all. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in the medical field- and that's hard to even say.... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! and I see from previous reviews this is not a new issue. Do better.

What a great first-time dentist experience for my 3.5-year-old son! He was complaining a bit about…read moretooth pain, so I called around to a few pediatric dentists and Dr. Wagner's office was one of the few that actually answered their phones and his receptionist managed to get us in the very next day! The receptionist, hygienists, and, of course, Dr. Wagner demonstrated their obvious expertise with kids throughout the whole appointment. The kids get to wear sunglasses so the strong lights don't bother their eyes. The receptionist let my son see her desk phone (he didn't quite believe she had one back there), the hygienists let him choose toothpaste and fluoride flavors, and Dr. Wagner showed my son how to turn off his head lamp when my son pointed out that the good doctor had "forgotten" to turn it off. The kids generally go back without the parents, but parents can go back the first time around. The dental room has a few chairs and the kids might be sitting next to other kids also getting worked on (so it's not a private room, which was my concern, especially if they go back there without parents). Afterwards, my son got to pick out a little toy, covered himself in giant stickers he was given, and was really excited about his container of dental floss that he wanted to unravel in its entirety by the time we got back into the waiting room. He cannot wait to go back again, and he was super proud to show me his shiny white teeth (No cavities, Mom!). Thanks so much for a great first-dentist experience, Dr. Wagner and staff! We'll see you again in 6 months! (On a slightly unrelated note, this place is located in the same building as the Barnes and Noble bookstore in downtown Naperville. My son and I went to Five Guys' hamburger place right across the street afterwards. If we'd had time, we'd have gone to the bookstore, too. Great location for a fun dentist trip!) (On another slightly more related note, I will be uploading a picture of my son's appointment. I fuzzed out all the faces. If you or your staff feel uncomfortable with the picture, I will take it down).

My 3.5 year old daughter is shy, painfully shy. That is why we were worried when we took her in for…read moreher first dentist visit, and why we settled on this place after reading the other reviews. To begin with, the location is nice and convenient. It is on the 3rd floor of the Barnes & Noble building on the corner of Chicago and Washington. Easy to bribe the kid with a trip to the bookstore after the appointment. Then there is the waiting room. Dentist office toys? Oh no, not here. This place is pre-schooler and little kid heaven. about 1/4 of the entire waiting room is devoted to a large, kid's only play house, filled with all sorts of things for the kids to get in there and play with. There is a large saltwater fish tank, a television playing kids shows, I think I saw a game system attached to the wall as well. The waiting area was great, because our shy little girl was also extremely nervous, being her first time to the dentist and all. Then there was the staff. They did a great job interacting with our daughter and knew just what to say and do to make her feel comfortable. I would never have expected her to sit still and cooperate with a dental x-ray, but with the way the staff helped her understand what was going to happen, she did fabulously. The same experience carried over to when Dr. Wagner came in to check her out. Never once did she get upset or try to hide herself behind us, and when she was all done and Dr. Wagner was giving us the evaluation, one of the staff members took our daughter and helped her pick out a little toy for her to take home. Overall it was an absolutely fantastic experience, and I am so glad we took her here for her first dentist experience. This is one little girl who will definitely not grow up being afraid to go to the dentist.
