Cheaper prices for a reason. Where do I start... The…read moreprocess to make an appointment was quick and easy. The day of my appointment she did not show up due to an "emergency with her child." She did not inform me of this until a random man was already knocking on our door, supposedly sent by her. He did a HORRIBLE job. Trash, dust, dirt left behind trash, water cooler, furniture, shelves, etc. Let's not mention that he tried to sell himself to my partner by offering to clean our house for less than Jovanka would charge. I informed her of this and she said he has done this before.... so I am thinking why send such a shady person to my home? I contacted her and showed her pics of the poor cleaning job. She replied with "MY GOD." When I asked for a refund she begged that I don't and said she needs this job b/c she's a single parent. She said she will come back and clean my house again, but will charge me only half. I still thought it was absurd to even charge me anything, when her company didn't do the job right the first time but I didn't want to hear her cry about her financial struggles again. So the agreement was to come back and clean my house for half price. Fast forward to the 2nd appointment. She does not show up at 8AM as we agreed. At 8:05 I text her that I was leaving to work , and she said she was 10min away. At that point I was over it , asked for a refund from the 1st appointment b/c the services were not fully performed and for the 2nd appt b/c she didnt show up on time. She pleaded to still do the job and that she was late because she had to feed her kids breakfast (mind you she chose the 8AM) time. She even still showed up at my house when I told her not too because she wanted to talk it out because she needed the job... borderline creepy. I understand we all have lives and responsibilities but she has definitely crossed the line between running a business and her personal problems. After much back and forth via text about her not wanting to give me the full refund she ends up saying she did not come to the 1st appointment because she had COVID! Yet she was trying to come to my house the next week to clean. This woman is a struggling person who is calling herself a business. There is no professionalism, business ethic or even insurance to cover any of her liabilities/faults. I paid for the 2nd appt the day before she came, but she could not give me a refund immediately when I asked because she said she did not have money in her account. She spent my money before even giving me any service. She still only sent back "70%" of what I have paid. I am waiting for $45. It is the principle that upsets me. She is taking people's money and doesn't care if her own personal problems get in the way of being professional and providing the services promised. It is unethical. Now two people have my home address - her and the man she sent for the 1st appt. The the way her business is ran makes me kind of nervous! Trust me... spend a little more with someone else more credible. The way she does business I wouldn't be surprised if the good reviews on here are people she knows.
