The sourdough is also yummy and has a light airy consistency.  The sandwiches are made with the fresh baked bread and are delicious! Even though the store opens at 6am, the bread is not ready until 8-9am, therefore it is best to order a sandwich a couple hours after the store opens for the optimum selection of bread. I once made the mistake of ordering a sandwich at 7am and was only presented with two bread options: sliced bread or focaccia. I selected the focaccia and although the bread was tasty, it made for a very soft and ultimately soggy sandwich.  There is a large prepared/hot food section that is self-serve. On one occasion while I was selecting a soup to purchase I witnessed an employee wiping up the spilled food from the counter and putting it back into the large food tray. It was absolutely nauseating and I immediately questioned if I should even purchase the soup given the lack of proper food cleanup/handling.  The grocery items cost much more than other grocery stores for the same exact item. Nugget seems to carry a variety of high-quality ingredients and typical well-known brands. The cost of produce and meat is much higher than other grocery stores, although the meat is typically sourced from local farms.  During Thanksgiving Nugget carries a large selection of high quality turkeys. There are a few turkeys that are sourced from local farms that are advertised as natural, antibiotic free, and free range. When purchasing a Turkey for Thanksgiving it is always advised to call and preorder as the high quality turkeys sell out fast.

I cancelled because we have a local farmers market that's opening in a few weeks. Otherwise I like the idea of getting the produce at my door step and I love that the box is unmarked. From my experience it was a good service. As far as cancelling all I did was send them a quick email and heard back within the hour that my service was cancelled, no ordeal. I'd use them again. Only thing I'd like to see is a better, user friendly website. It's not very easy to navigate.

The items are always fresh and sometimes unusual (but that's the fun of it, right??) My experience with customer service has definitely been a pleasant one. They are very informative and accommodating as much as possible to my questions and needs. I think the best thing that has come out of this for my family is that my children always look forward to our Thursdays deliveries and opening our box of goodies, it has heightened their desire for fruit and veggie snacks over other pantry items, and since we are a juicing family my kids have have become more involved with added kale or spinach to their smoothies! My produce always seems fresh, but it is ORGANIC and does not carry a shelf life like other pesticide and GMO inflamed foods. So my family and I always try to consume it all before it expires. There are many stands that serve produce, bread, flowers, honey, and much more. I love the flower booth that is comes to this farmers market every weekend. You can buy flowers by the bouquet (anywhere from $7-$30) or you can ask about bulk purchases. I also like that they have performers that play guitar, piano, sing, etc. This farmers market doesn't compare to the midtown farmers market, but a great farmers market if you're looking to simply buy produce and fresh items. There is plenty of parking. There are no food trucks or food stands with already made food. Also, no dogs allowed.
