Thank goodness we did stop because we ended up buying THE BEST strawberries we have EVER tasted! We went on July 17th so maybe it has something to also do with the time of year and being right in the tail end of strawberry season (typically Apr.10 - July 30). What makes them the best? They had to be the sweetest strawberries we've ever tasted and had a soft but firm texture that made it even more spectacular. I guess it's not entirely appetizing to compare a strawberry to a piece of ribeye but it seems like you could taste that these strawberries were grown with just the right amount of water, received just the right amount of sun, and picked just at the right time in the harvest season; similar to when you experience an amazing cut of ribeye that is perfectly cooked that cuts like butter. These strawberries are normally $2 per basket but you can buy 6 baskets for $10. The family that owns this farm are not shy about letting you taste the strawberries before you buy so that should give you no reason not to be happy with your purchase. And finally, they're pesticide free supposedly which explains why they're typically smaller than what you'll see at the local grocery store. Strawberry season seems to be coming to an end in 2011. If it really does end on July 30, you only have a limited amount of weeks left to try these amazing strawberries! I probably should have bought another 6 baskets before heading back to the Bay Area.

You will pass the small stop call u-pick scales to check the weight of car going in. After done, they will weight again car out with all veggies you picked. We arrived at 7:20. Not too crowded but upick's opened at 7. There are some people already almost their picking. I saw a lot of buckets filled with serrano chile and cucumbers. ****Everything seems fine until the final part***. There are only 2 car lines using for both way in and out. Also you have to go out with the same scale station when you got in. Which makes the traffic flow slow and busy. There're car waiting right behind us. We're feeling so rush. Whatever number of scale she said we just ok with it without having any doubts for 2 not full bags at 25lbs. As right we got home. We check again the weights of both bags 3 times with home scale. It's ONLY 15-16lbs. I evened take picture of everything i got and ask chatgpt to estimate. The number's same what we just checked at home from around 13-19lbs. I have no idea how's car scales work? Why it added up to 10lbs difference. With the price 50cents/lb for upick is really affordable but then you add up the scale like this is non acceptable! Will be the last visit to this farm. Everyone should know about this thing happened and pay attention to it.

Some of my family are Vegans and they absolutely love when I bring a flat of these to family gatherings. Easy in/out of the location, you pull right off Wilton Rd into their parking area and walk right up. The lady that works the stand is always nice and attentive and greets you with a big smile. They have a nice selection of some fruits, vegetables and honey as well on the counter and behind it which she proudly puts on display. I recently purchased some cherries they had placed out there, they were great too! We rode the bus from the school and checked in at the designated field trip area when we arrived. Since there were four classes, they split us into groups, which made everything feel organized and smooth. The kids absolutely loved the hay ride and getting a tour of the farm to see the layout. One child was so excited she almost fell over. Her water bottle fell but she was safe. We then visited the animals and learned about all the amazing things the farm does, which was both fun and educational. After the tour, the kids enjoyed time on the playground and had snacks. There were also shops and places to eat, which was great for families and chaperones. The bathrooms are port-a-potties. They do have hand washing stations. I had never heard of this farm before, but it truly exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back next year! It was only $5 per child and $15 for parents which wasn't bad.
