We offer martial arts classes for children ages 4 through 13 and adults. Our children's martial arts curriculum is a true self defense program. We teach children the foundations of striking by way of punching and kicking, transitioning to the ground via takedowns, and ground based self defense primarily through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We help kids build confidence and improve their physical fitness while having fun. We teach our students that physical contact is the last resort outside of training, but give them the tools necessary to do so if the situation requires it. Our adult martial arts classes include Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) both with the gi uniform and without. Our MMA classes draw on techniques from many different martial arts. Our grappling classes include instruction in other disciplines besides BJJ. Our philosophy is to use the right tool from the right martial art at the right time. At Brazen Martial Arts our students are like family. We hope you'll come take a free trial class with us!

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by name with a smile. Being one of the original orange theory location the members are truly like a family, and the staff is an extension of that family. While all orange theory locations run the same template each and everyday, the delivery of the workout by the coach is what makes it stand out. The coaches are top notch and most have been there since opening. That's a rare thing for sure!!! Knowing that the coaches are there year after year, and even after going off to college the front desk staff comes back to work in the summer is a true testament of how well managed the location is. The attention to what is going on in people's lives, along with the owner and staff living in the community creates a tie to members which is truly unique for a gym franchise. If you are looking for an amazing workout, that keeps you coming back, at a place you actually want to feel part of, join this gym!! See you in class, I'll be the one cheering you on

I just feel this place works the best if you're trying to lose weight and tone. its low impact so if you have aches and pains due to injuries or just plain getting older its the perfect fit. I went in with an open mind but a little skeptical. I signed up which was easy. I've been going over a month and I already see results. First 2 classes are free so after you're crazy intense workouts if you're not happy you're not obligated to continue. They do interval training, with high and low intensity. Ironically you don't realize just how much you're physically doing until you're done. One of their perks which I love, bc it pushes me, is the heart rate monitor. It tracks your progress thru heart rate, calories and splat points( when u really push yourself) You can follow your progress on their app. It's become a little family, everyone pushes each other but it's not competitive to the point of annoying. When you do really awesome the trainers and other members encourage you in a positive way or even when you feel like giving up. The staff are professional and motivational. The classes are intense but go soo quick, you don't even realize it. I also like the fact that when you're doing the exercise the trainer makes sure you're doing it properly so you don't injure yourself and get maximum results. The heart rate results are displayed on screens in the gym so as you workout you can see your results and push yourself harder. Their are rowing machines which I used to hate but these machines are water filled so their easier on your joints and the resistance is much harder, the treadmills( you will never look at one the same once you've done the workout), and then theirs floor exercises which is free weights, mats etc.( they give you exercises to complete in a certain amount of time) but you go at your own pace. what can I say..I never thought I'd love a gym but I truly do. Definitely worth a check in if you're looking to change your normal place. As for pandemic, they maintain all codes of disinfecting and safety, classes are small as to not over crowd. They are vigilant on cleaning and everyone is required to wear a mask. before you enter your temp is taken and hand sanitizer is provided.

This program is the first group exercise program I have ever done.I didn't even know it, but it was exactly what I needed to keep me motivated and coming back day after day. They start you of with a 10 week program coming in for 5 days a week. That may sound intimidating but after week 2 you are hooked! In my experience I've gotten more value out of this membership because I actually go, rather than throwing $10-$20 away every month at Planet Fitness or some other chain. It also comes with a nutrition plan that is relatively simple to follow one you find the appropriate food choices. The staff is great. You will bus your behind in every class and that is exactly what you want and need to get the results you want. I've texted members of the staff on multiple occasions with nutrition questions and they really welcome the questions and are quick to respond. There are 2 Facebook groups that you have access also with the membership. This way you can stay in touch with your local gym for important updates and ask questions to the the whole Max Challenge community or search questions. Many flexible times to workout from 5 am-7 pm. Overall this is a great place for assistance on your weight loss journey. Well worth the money which will be about $400-$500 for the 10 week program.

He didn't try to lure me in, or sell me on anything. Upon my first visit, I was greeted by Emily, one of the owners, who led me into the class. I was then greeted by the other owner Art, who welcomed me as the class was doing warm ups. At the time, I had no clue they were owners, just based upon how integrated into the school they were/are. All of the schools I've been to I never met the owner. I think it's very cool. A lot of gyms feel like corporations. Not this one. It's a perfect balance between professionalism and fun. Emily and Art genuinely care about you and don't put up with any crap. If you get hurt, they will make it their mission to find out who, what, when, where, and, why. That brings me to my next reason why I love PBJJ. The culture at this gym is vastly different than the other gyms I've been to. Not only are the owners welcoming, but everyone that trains there is welcoming. Every single instructor will introduce themselves to you if they have never met you before. Instead of making you feel like a noob on your first, second, third day, they make you feel comfortable and a part of the family. Most importantly, the quality of the instructors and classes are top notch. Most of the instructors are black belts, which is highly unusual. They are all so knowledgeable, and each one brings their own style which helps you develop your game better. Additionally, from white to black belt, there is a very diverse mix of students that train there. This gives you the opportunity to roll with people of various experience and sizes. It also gives you the chance to have multiple rolling partners so you're not constantly rolling with the same few people. Overall, BJJ is a sport you have to love, obviously, but where you train makes all of the difference. If you're new to BJJ, or you're looking for a gym, I highly recommend just coming and trying out a class. You will soon understand why I've grown so fond for that place.
