Then they didn't let me make the class they had to have a rude conversation about me first and and held me up telling me all the reasons I need to only had to have one day and I had to sign up today. It's gotten better over the past few months but still isn't great…read more I've seen a tremendous increase in female staff here and a huge decrease in disruptive male staff and members. If a patron, usually male, is throwing weights aggressively (i.e. almost hitting others) or disturbing other customers the staff WILL address it, which did not happen before. I will say that a large number of teenagers here are creepy: they are misusing equipment, loud, interrupt other's workouts, and just watch others in the gym very intensely. However, male personal trainers are the most frustrating. They are constantly asking members to move out of their way (even when just walking around the gym), get off machines, and/or stop THEIR workouts to make room for the trainer. If someone is using a machine, you can't make them move. It's in the member terms and conditions. Female trainers don't cause this issue, but male trainers do.

Methinks the mod for that sub is a Planet Fitness manager. So anyway, at this location (and specifically 10/2/2024 at 10:30 am), a trio of beauties waltzed in the front door, ignored the front desk (where you check in; duh) and went immediately to the right to the equipment. This happens every.single.day. How do I know? Because I see it happening every.single.day. The staff at the front desk is always conveniently looking down, or at their phone, or have their backs turned. Today, the young gentleman (not Shawn, the on-site manager) looked them squarely in the eyes...and ignored them. what is the deal? are they members, and just choose to ignore the rules? Or do they just sneak in to work out, knowing no on will stop them. Management, fix this! It happens regularly! #2 -- could you please enforce the "don't bring your baggage onto the floor with you" rule? There are literally piles of hand luggage clogging the ailses, and the staff does nothing. Too cheap to buy $3 lock. The staff never confronts a rules breaker EVER. Is this a mandate from corporate? Don't piss off the membership? Wait -- I thought this location was independently owned and operated. So what's the deal here? the $10/month trash people are ruining it for the rest of us. do better

The water fountain was broken and only dispensing hot water, which is unacceptable in a gym where people are actively working out and need access to cold drinking water. I politely asked an employee if I could have a complimentary bottle of water since the fountain wasn't usable, and I was refused. For a business that promotes member comfort and customer appreciation, this response was very disappointing -- especially for a paying Black Card member. It's not even about the cost of a bottle of water, it's about basic customer service and common courtesy. If essential amenities like drinking water aren't working, management should have a backup solution for members. Hopefully they address both the broken fountain and the way situations like this are handled in the future.

I will admit that I've only been here in the mornings. But I'm sure the evening crowd is good too. The workouts are challenging but Pete and Sebastian always make sure we are working out without injuring ourselves. They take time to explain the proper way to do each exercise and modify if you need. I not only love the classes and the trainers but the atmosphere is great, there are people of all shapes and sizes and you don't ever feel silly asking a question or needing something explained again. When I contacted them for help and requested a refund, I was told there was "nothing they could do" because I no longer had the cancellation paper -- despite the error being entirely on their end. I did everything correctly as a customer, and instead of taking accountability, management dismissed the issue and kept charging me. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor customer service. Be cautious, because if something goes wrong internally, they may refuse to fix it and continue taking your money.

Unfortunately I echo many of the other reviews on this site - poor customer service and employee training-resulting in terrible customer experience. I recently went to the spa for a massage. Upon checkout the receptionist told me there was a note on my file for 20% off my service. She reached out to the spa manager who indicated since there was no name or date on the note that they should ignore it and did not honor the discount. When questioned they said that it was an employee error. Seems like the customers bear the brunt of all employee errors--I did send a note to the GM - Hayden Duffy. I look forward to a response.
