Big Moose is 2 hours from Hermon, but they had the bike he wanted to look at. He just got his endorsement from Central Maine Harley and we so wished we could have made a purchase there to put his class towards a purchase, but alas it was not meant to be. Big Moose had the bike. Mark was his salesman on site and was great. They knew his endorsement was so fresh the ink had not dried on the paperwork. They had him drive a few laps around the lot and then took him out on the ride. They even put him on another bike. Mark rode with him down the road and to a big lot where he could really work the bike. Aidan stepped in to be the finisher and was fair and took a bit of back and forth but we settled on an offer. Their selection of used bikes is solid.

They said that because it was so late in the season (Aug/Sep) that they didn't order more until next year but apparently everyone riding through Maine gets one of their shirts. I was disappointed since I had planned on getting my kids Moose shirts from Maine. Their poker chips made up for it, a Moose on one side and a lobster on the other, perfect! Each chip is $4 which is higher than average and about $4.22 with tax. The dealership is very nice and clean but also very small. It's been modernized so it has all of the new HD dealer standard look to it, no character except for the big moose on the wall wearing a hat. I had the parts department look up a part for me that they didn't have and were able to locate it at another dealership since we were on a trip so we could get it on our way....we would not be coming back this way. Parts staff as well as motor clothes staff were super helpful. They have a small HOG lounge area at the front of the store. Sales staff were friendly and not pushy. It's a bit off the beaten path to get here but worth the stop if you need a break. Bad cell reception inside but they have the public wifi password posted throughout the store.

AAA came to jump my car, and when that didn't solve the problem they towed me here. I didn't know what to expect, but I was so pleased by the kindness and promptness of the team here. I had no appointment and understood I could be without a car for a few days. But within 48 hours my car was working and back to me again. Things that stood out-their team is direct and goes above and beyond for you! They told me everything that I needed to know about my car troubles (ultimately a new battery) and things that I should look into (due for oil change and state inspection). They did all of this work for a reasonable price and I know I'll be coming back here in the future (hopefully with a scheduled appointment and not a breakdown). I highly recommend getting your car serviced here :) The do a great job, and it's walking distance to many great coffee and breakfast options if you have time to kill.

They seemed good until they weren't…read more I purchased a 2020 Impreza, former lease, in 2023. It looked showroom fresh when they showed it to me. It passed inspection for the first 2 years, and I had undercoating put on it. Now in 2026, with 53000 miles on it, it wouldn't pass inspection, because oil from a gasket leak was dripping on the exhaust pipe. When they showed me the undercarriage I was shocked to see how much rust was on it. To make matters even worse, they wanted over $4,000 to fix it! I emailed the original sales person with my problem. 5 days later they wrote that the email had gone into their spam section. I still owed $10,000 on my loan and the car was only worth $10,000, so I had nothing to trade in at the new dealership I went to!

A most egregious sequence of events…read more Agreed upon full day drop off for battery replacement; car did not start up right upon pick up, had faith, and it was dead upon morning. Had to Uber kids to school, call roadside assistance for jump. Was not told until back in person that the reason was THEY NEVER REPLACED THE BATTERY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT SEE IT ON THE PAPERWORK. This was the sole issue that had been discussed for 2 days prior. I'm still pleasant at this point; walk home. Receive call ACCUSING me of not giving them my keys; they strongly believe this because "I gave them the car running". I'm like duh, the battery's dead, that was a convenience TO YOU. At this point, I say "you already didn't render services upon payment in full and now you're telling me you lost my keys, why would I believe you?" I hung up, I'm on my way. On the way on my child's scooter, I get a VM, of course they found the keys. Pete(?) meets me outside, hands me keys, tries to show me "what happened". As I'm already getting in my car, he says "I don't appreciate you hollering at my guy". Well, I don't like the false security of being sent off for paid services not rendered and then getting accused of lying and the possible stress of lost keys on top! Wow! I never even asked for a refund. UNACCEPTABLE.

My partner and I had a flat tire when we pulled into Portland for vacation. They were able to fit us in within the hour and gave us recommendations on what to do until then. Turns out there was nothing visibly wrong with the tire, no holes or anything, so they couldn't do anything on the spot. They didn't charge for the inspection and filling up the tire. We very much appreciated their help and are glad to know we can wait until we get back to deal with the tire instead of worry all weekend. We definitely recommend and would come back if we have a problem (hopefully we don't). Very friendly, great service.
