Mostly he kind of silently glared at us, making me think that he had this great business idea but realized too late that this also involved interacting with people. I ordered a beef shawarma. He handled the meat with his bare hands. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that's a safety code violation? I wasn't super into it. My sandwich was poorly wrapped and in a tortilla. A freaking tortilla. It tasted ok. The hummus in it was pretty good. It was sort of worth the $3 Groupon. I'm not coming back.

But on the other hand, the texture of the meat is off just enough that it can't be masked by the otherwise enjoyable ingredients. Also, their schedule is erratic. It's understandable since they're college students, but it doesn't work well from a customer point of view. It's great to see young entrepreneurs making a go at something like this, and I really enjoy supporting such efforts with my lunch dollars. But I'm not sure Saucy Buger has what it takes.

Taco Loco is a food truck that sits in front of their old Taco Loco restaurant. It's sad to see…read morethem close their restaurant (which I never had a chance to try) but I am glad they still have their food truck. I had their vegetarian burrito and thought it was really good! The couple working at the truck were so nice and accommodating. The burrito came out hot, delicious and with yummy homemade salsa on the side. The fresh avocado was a great touch! The burrito was also huge and I had to take some of it home. I would like to come back and try their other dishes. They have a few tables and chair to eat at with umbrellas for when it's hot. It does sit right next to the street which isn't that great of an ambiance but it's not that bad. They have a parking lot too so you don't have to worry about street parking. I hope they continue to stay open here because I will definitely be back for their burritos.
