Ilove that they come pick up and drop it back off - so convenient. They were so kind and heard all my thoughts about what I was looking for and said they would reach out with any questions. The update: When I first got the quilt back it wasn't what I expected with the material that was used for the patches. But I'm adding this part to speak to Burrell's incredible response and solution. He offered to rework it and was very sincere on making sure I was happy with the finished product. After I found a fabric that was the same material and matched the style better, he redid the patches, sent me pictures before redoing them to make sure it was what I envisioned, and returned my quilt again. I absolutely love it and am just so grateful for how he handled everything. Highly, highly recommend and will definitely contact him for anything I need in the future.

These were important as it was my son's wedding. Yes, I waited for the last minute. But, it worked out and the owner delivered them to me. Beautiful dresses, amazing work, timeless. I needed a dress altered that was too tight in the sleeve openings and way too wide for my torso…read more When I picked the dress up after the alterations were complete, the dress fit perfectly on my torso but the sleeve openings were still slightly too tight. I explained and was told they would try to make a bit more room in the sleeves for me, if possible. Within 10 minutes I tried on the dress again and it felt SO much better and fit great. I really appreciate that they listened to me and made every effort for the dress fit me beautifully. Note: If you arrive on the weekend and the building is locked, just give them a call and they'll come get you! The building is an office building so the front door locks on the weekends.

The owner recommended Georgetown Valet at this location, and so far I've been more than pleased. The woman that does the alterations is phenomenal. My alterations are normally complex, but the turnaround time is impressive. My dry cleaning experience has been okay, but again I'm overall pleased with their service, professionalism, and attention to detail.

I don't know why they would remove the buttons, maybe it was to press the shirt, but they could have looked for them and returned them without incident and full understanding on my part if they did not lie about the video evidence. Luckily my tailor provide several extra buttons and I had them with me. I am still a few short, but not satisfied with the poor customer service from the man who I dealt with. I did thank the woman for her assistance, so I am not the only one who lost their temper. The man is bad for business. I won't return and I will continue to promote this review. All I did was drop off a brand new 5 piece suit with formal shirt with black buttons to be pressed before my daughter's wedding. I picked it up the same day paid over 42 dollars and the next morning when I pulled it out to wear the shirt was the wrong shirt or if it was the black buttons were gone. I called and the owner says bring it back we have a camera. He then says it's the same shirt I brought in. He pointed to the camera screen and watched it 3 times claiming the black buttons were not on shirt when I brought it and he told me to leave. I told him to show me the buttons on video, he would not and then he got aggressive came from behind counter to intimidate into leaving. I told him I needed his name and he refused. A woman came out and I should her the spare buttons my tailor provided and she put them on over the existing buttons. This business is shaky to say least. Go somewhere else if you need any dry cleaning or pressing services. The owner lies and can't be trusted. The owner rebutted my previous post but failed to mention that they would not show me the video in spite of my asking several times to bring it into my view. If there is video evidence, PROVIDE it.

Recently purchased a pair of new pants but needed an adjustment as one of the cuffs was a quarter…read moreof an inch longer than the other. After being assured they could make the adjustments, I waited a week and picked them up trusting their reputation. Upon taking them home it was immediately obvious they raised the hem of one leg by a whole inch and a quarter! Further, it seems they messed up once already during the process as there are clear tailoring marks further up the pant leg that were not there before. If they can make such amateur mistakes with something as simple as adjusting a hemline (ruining a pair of pants in the process), I would never trust them with more delicate alterations.

Well, when it finally arrived, it looked like someone had painted it on to my body. I could hardly breathe, let alone anticipate moving around or enjoying myself. Thankfully I came across Chris' website- "Stephen The Tailor". I quickly booked an appointment. Chris was kind, funny, and welcoming to me and my (now) wife. He put us both at ease, helping navigate all that needed to happen. Neither one of us imagined that the suit that was delivered would be salvaged. Chris, must have taken every stitch out of this three piece to reconstruct the perfect tuxedo for me. I still cannot identify what he retooled. Easily the mark of a true craftsman and expert tailor. Last fall, I brought in a suede jacket for cleaning and was told it would be sent to a specialty cleaner because it was suede. When I checked on it in February, I was told it was taking longer because the suede cleaner had been on leave. When I followed up again last month, I was shocked to be told they had never received my jacket. After checking their system, they insisted I had never dropped it off. What disappointed me most was not even the lost jacket. It was the lack of accountability and the complete absence of an apology. I was not asking for compensation. I simply wanted someone to acknowledge what happened and say they were sorry. Instead, when I pulled the owner aside to express my disappointment, she looked at me with confusion, as though I was making the whole thing up.
