However, it's a nicer storefront and they have some great dress options. They have in house Seamtress - alterations on your dress is typically starting around $1,200 depending on what you change. I ordered one of their custom dresses that they created with a designer. I further customized my dress with adding a longer train to it and adding a slit. I will say I've seen variations of my dress online by other designers, but I think my quality dress appeared like it was better material. I felt like the customer service varied depending on who you got that day. Some people seemed more kind and tried their best to be accommodating and others seemed like they were just trying to be done for the day. I had around 3 fittings. I could bring 2 people with me each time. They have sample sales available and there's two locations for this company. Overall, if you want the dream dress experience this is not it. However, if you just want to buy your dress and you don't need all the extra bell and whistles (e.g champagne, back drops, private fittings) then this is a good choice. They packaged my dress, veil, and hair band nicely upon receiving everything and they provide a contract with most of the main details of your purchase. You have to pay for everything before you can take the dress (obviously). Overall, if I could do it all again I would probably go with another dress company. That's because I'm extra for the price I ended up paying in total which was around $7K I could've probably gone to a higher end bridal shop with more elevated experience. BUT they checked the boxes and accommodated most of my needs.

At the first appt for alterations, she let me tell her what I thought needed to be fixed first before offering her suggestions. She did this bc something she might see as an issue might not even bother me. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm very happy with the outcome. She made me feel like a queen in my dress and I cannot wait to show it off on my wedding day. *Parking: There's plenty of parking out front, and more in the lot across front the store. It is a very busy lot, and sometimes drivers from the Starbucks drive through gets stuck trying to leave. Id recommend that you park closer to the Bonchon. **Will post pictures of before and after, but AFTER my wedding in May! I bought my dress from their bridal shop, which was a lovely experience and I LOVED the dress. I trusted them to tailor the dress they sold me, but they did a poor job. First, they took my dress in and literally made it 1.5 inches to small, it would not even zipper. So then I had to come back and they were trying to put boning in, but it did not look good so then I had to ask for them to take it out. And STILL the dress is too small but they would not listen to me when I asked for it to be slightly bigger. It felt like I was being dismissed and they were really poor at communication. I was hoping for better, especially after all of the good reviews, but it did not live up to the expectations. For how expensive they are, I would spend my money elsewhere.

The dresses were over a month late and all were irregularly made. One bridesmaid tried I contact Julia Yang to get more material to fix her own dress and Julia refused to return any calls or emails to her or me. Their bridal shop is part of an office building which threw me off at first. They had a decent selection of dresses. Mostly a size 6 or 8. I would say that their dresses are simple yet elegant and mostly affordable. So there was a dress that I really liked but they had to special order it for me because they didn't have any in stock. It typical takes 6 to 8 weeks to order it. But you can rush order it for 4 weeks. I decided to rush order it because it wasn't that much more expensive. They took my measurements and promised that my dress would fit me in my chest, waist, hips and height. Pretty much, the dress would be made just for me because the dress was custom made. Fast forward 4 weeks, I go pick up the dress and well I wasn't that pleased. Don't get me wrong, the dress was beautiful. I loved how it turned out until I took a closer look at it. The beading on the dress fell off after I tried it on at home. The dress was NOT fitting to me at all. I ordered a trumpet style dress and it was more of an A-line fit. The hips were way to large on me. And the length of the dress was too long. So I had to get it tailored. Pink Rose offered to tailor it themselves but I honestly didn't feel comfortable giving them my dress back to fix it. So I took to a local tailor who I trusted and got an estimate. $240 to get the dress fixed. I called Pink Rose Bridal and they said that they could only offer me $150 to get it altered. Really? After you guys messed up my dress you can't even pay to get the dress altered the way you promised me originally? I didn't feel like putting up with their crap so I just agreed on the $150 and that was it. Overall thoughts, the dress was beautiful but sadly it wasn't as custom made as they told me it would be. But at the end, I paid less than $500 for my wedding dress that I liked so I honestly can't complain too much I guess. Julia was friendly and great to work with and she seemed to have tried her best to make me happy. It was unfortunate that the company she worked for refused to fully pay for my alterations. And that dress makers messed up my dress.

I would use the fitting room on several occassions when I need to show Mai, the seamstress, the fit of the pants and preferred alternation markings. Mai and her husband keep the place nice and neat. 3. Service: Mai, her husband, Loc, and the entire team always go above and beyond to make sure your clothes are evenly pressed, clean, and well maintained. They have been in business for a very long time, and are extremely knowledgeable and kind. In addition to dry cleaning, Mai tailors clothes very well. She had hemmed many of my work pants and jeans. Furthermore, Mai and her husband are amazing at spot checking for stains and ensuring the removal of it. 4. Costs: The price is reasonable and subject to change based on the category of the clothes. I called ahead of time to ask if they carried a certain designer for bridesmaids dresses to which they said yes. I then asked if I could make an appointment to see some color swatches in the specific designer I requested. When I got to the store 15 minutes prior to my appointment and walked in and loudly and clearly stated that I had an appointment the woman started telling me the run around that she wanted to value my time and she wasn't sure if she could help me since she may have someone coming in. I then repeated that I did have an appointment and she pulled out a book of the designer that I did not request. I then asked again if they had my designer and another woman told me they no longer carry it. I stated the specific color that I was looking for and asked if they had anything similar to stay open minded (maybe another designer carried something similar) but there was nothing close. I then said that I did like another color but was really looking for my specific color and make. Big mistake. Both of the women then tried to talk me into changing my mind on my color to the point where they wrapped a crystal belt around me and said how nice it would look w the color I thought about for a moment, even though I was wearing something completely opposite. What???? Then somehow, one of the women came out from the back with the designer and color that I originally requested in a long dress like I was looking for!???? They proceeded to tell me how forest fires and floods and shipping were to blame with why they don't carry this popular designer (that can be found in many other locations in the NE)! She told me word for word that the designer "pissed them off". They also started telling me how the same color and make would clash if my bridesmaids bought their dresses at two different places bc of dye match issues. Ugh. I also, repeatedly had to ask for them to repeat what they were saying since they mumbled and spoke so softly. The only thing good I got from this appointment was a free bridal magazine and to actually see the color that I was looking for, even if it was for 60 seconds. I like to think I am a very laid back person, this was just inexcusably bad customer service and salesmanship. I just hope if you are a bride looking for your actual wedding gown here they would at least treat you with more respect.

They have an open floor where you can wander and pull dresses you'd like to try on, instead of describing to someone what you like and having them find something. My big issue is one that honestly I was going to find at any non-specialized salon, and it's that the samples are all about a size 10, which is a street size 6 or 8. I'm a street size 18 and my eventual dress was a 22. It's hard to imagine what a dress is going to look like on you when you can't even get the sleeves all the way up, and you certainly don't feel beautiful. Nevertheless, the selection was nice enough, although I preferred the customer service experience I had at the place where I found The One.
