To say that this place had a face lift is an understatement. I can't help but express how esthetically pleasing it looks, from the inside and out. Let's first start with how the cardio theatre room no longer exists but instead, there's an open layout of cardio equipment (to the left when you first walk in). Majority of the machines are new or new(er) and aren't in dire need of repair. Which then leads me to the plethora of free weights and machines. One of the best things they could have done was have two of everything while still utilizing the same amount of space. The locker rooms have improved significantly, with all new lockers, tiles, and changing rooms. Now, with the good comes the bad. The obvious is that those upgrades weren't cheap, which means our memberships were affected by the changes and almost doubled in price. Last but certainly not least and something all the members have been waiting on for years is 24 hour access. To those like myself that have it, it's super convenient and does its job. Overall, the slight increase in membership dues is worth me continuing to be a member and it's time you became one, too!

She was super nice and comfortable to work with. She gave me some physical assignments and went over a regimen for me to follow to meet my goals. Today, a Monday, visited around 5:45p and the place was hustling and bustling but I was still able to snag a treadmill and I enjoyed using the Pulse room for the free weights. Wrapped it all up with 10 min on the Hydro Massage chair and then on my way. It was a good day.

Most of the staff that works at the facility are very cordial. The facility is kept clean and orderly through the workout areas and in the restrooms. The equipment for the most part it's always kept in good working order. I only have two complaints. 1. It will probably be nice if they had hanging punching bags. (Suggest these could easily be installed in one the 2 class workout rooms). 2. The music is played extremely loud at times. Other than those two issues I would highly recommend the facility.

So the manager that did a walk through with could not answer my questions so he got frustrated. So with his personal phones took pictures of our id's and left them on a desk unsecured. he told us this common practice with this facility. So when we came back the following day found out the manager filled out agreement and signed it without the person permission. When this was addressed to the general manager Alson Wilson. His response was he did not want to call us a liar. Even though there was a police statement by this manager. He claimed he was giving permission to commit a crime. totally untrue to my understanding employees that sign up new members will get bonus. And the agreement was not filled out correctly.

Dale and Ellie, the owners, are incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about building a strong fitness community. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the coaches, Amy Strahan, wasn't what I hoped for. I attended a class that wasn't beginner-friendly, despite being new to the gym. Throughout the session, Amy repeatedly suggested I sign up for one-on-one coaching with her, which felt more like a sales pitch than genuine guidance. It left a sour impression. That said, I'm not giving up on Nutiformance. I plan to return and try classes with other coaches--I believe there's a lot of potential here, and I'm hopeful my next experience will be more supportive and aligned with my fitness level.

For nearly $400 a month, I expected a premium fitness club--not an employee-led scavenger hunt…read more Sharon, a personal trainer at LifeTime Fitness in Frontenac, apparently believes that returning equipment to the place it belongs is just a fun suggestion. Members spend enough time working out without having to tour the entire gym looking for equipment that was left somewhere else. When I mentioned that the equipment should be put back where it came from, Sharon's professional response was to tell me to "mind your own business" and that "it doesn't matter" where the equipment is returned. Interesting philosophy. I wonder if LifeTime feels that way, too. You can almost understand when an occasional member leaves equipment lying around. But when it's an employee--someone who's literally being paid to teach good habits--it's a masterclass in hypocrisy. Maybe the next training package should include a session called "How to Return Equipment 101." It's a short class: pick it up, walk it back, and put it where you found it. For a club that markets itself as a luxury fitness experience, I'd expect trainers to set the example--not encourage members to lower their standards. Apparently, "mind your own business" is now considered customer service.

Many folks working out will wipe down the machines after they used them. There are plenty who don't though. I've noticed some of the Y staff introducing new customers to the area not instructing/encouraging them to wipe down the machines when done. That practice needs to start with staff.
