(I have been to a lot of sub optimal gyms where I wouldn't feel comfortable hitting a respectable bench there.) Lift STL certainly met my needs. They had many racks & locations to bench press -- no waiting on the sole bench press. They had top notch Sorinex equipment throughout. A wide variety of barbells to meet any specific needs -- including one Strongman log, DBs up to 120#, about all the machines you could need, and lots of turf for conditioning drills. If you need it, they likely have it. Personnel were kind and welcoming & put up with my occasional #OldManNoise while lifting. Facility was clean, easy to get to, & lots of nearby parking.

You sit in the sauna and have a chance to just relax. It starts you off at a medium heat. I selected all for the red lights. I stayed at medium for a while. I didn't know what to expect. Later I turned it to high. You can definitely feel the heat. But there was a fan blowing. I expected to sweat more like in other saunas and steam rooms. But I didn't sweat at all. It was a a pleasant experience. I will probably use the hydro massage and the cold dry plunge more. I will likely use the sauna at my other gym to sweat the toxins out.

Unfortunately, my experience with one of the coaches, Amy Strahan, wasn't what I hoped for. I attended a class that wasn't beginner-friendly, despite being new to the gym. Throughout the session, Amy repeatedly suggested I sign up for one-on-one coaching with her, which felt more like a sales pitch than genuine guidance. It left a sour impression. That said, I'm not giving up on Nutiformance. I plan to return and try classes with other coaches--I believe there's a lot of potential here, and I'm hopeful my next experience will be more supportive and aligned with my fitness level.

Rude front desk staff ruined the experience…read more On June 21 around 1 PM, I came to the facility with my sisters, excited to enjoy a swim. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was at capacity--which is completely understandable. What wasn't okay was how the front desk staff spoke to us when we arrived. Instead of simply informing us the pool was full, the woman at the desk said, "Y'all was ready to go swimming, huh?" in a tone that came off sarcastic and dismissive. It felt like we were being mocked for just showing up ready to enjoy the amenities. We didn't cause any trouble--we just wanted to enjoy our day. But that comment and her attitude made us feel extremely unwelcome and embarrassed for no reason. That's not how guests should be treated, especially not when they're following the rules and coming in with good intentions. We ended up going to the outdoor pool instead, but the interaction at the front desk stuck with me. A little professionalism and courtesy would've gone a long way. I hope management seriously considers retraining staff on how to speak to guests respectfully--because this was a major disappointment.

You can chalk up your hands, go for that new deadlift PR, and the gym will be cheering you on. Now under new ownership the gym is expanding into kickboxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu, MMA, etc. I first stepped foot into Eagle Gym over 15 years ago and loved the place ever since. Rick King the original founder and owner of Eagle Gym is a legend in the bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman world, and Matt (the previous owner/manager) is also an extremely nice man with an extensive knowledge of bodybuilding, strongman, and powerlifting. I have a lot of fond memories training strongman events in the parking lot behind Eagle Gym or just getting my pump on inside the gym going down the dumbbell rack. I just signed up to the gym last week, met the new owners (who are very nice people), and I am excited to begin regularly going to the gym. I live 35 minutes away from the gym and I drive past a ton of gyms to make it to Eagle Gym. I am looking forward to the future of Eagle Gym keeping the hardcore bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman, and boxing culture it is known for while also expanding the gym to include kickboxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu, and MMA. The gym membership is extremely affordable, and the new owners are very easy to work with. For the cost of some junk food and soda, you can afford a gym membership at Eagle Gym. Do yourself a favor, sign up to Eagle Gym, and get strong, healthy, and learn how to box.

Most of the staff that works at the facility are very cordial. The facility is kept clean and orderly through the workout areas and in the restrooms. The equipment for the most part it's always kept in good working order. I only have two complaints. 1. It will probably be nice if they had hanging punching bags. (Suggest these could easily be installed in one the 2 class workout rooms). 2. The music is played extremely loud at times. Other than those two issues I would highly recommend the facility.

They kept trying to upsell me every other word and kept pushing me to get the more expensive memberships, I said no and asked for month to month. When I went in to cancel my membership they informed me that I had been fraudulently signed up for a 24 month contract, I'm not even going to be in the area that long, why would I sign up for that? So apparently if you refuse the more expensive membership, they illegally sign you up for them anyway and leave no possible way to get out of it. Apparently nobody in the gym can cancel it, they tell you to call a number and then the call center gives you a fake email amd I have been doing this roundabout for weeks now. This place is a scam and what they did to me is illegal, protect yourselves people. I hope your corporate finds this and you all get fired. I will be posting a review every single day till I get results.
