I had an interesting experience. Let me tell you about it. I called and asked if, I could drop off my SUV. He said, they are already full. He offered to get me in at 8am or in the afternoon the next day. I said, I'd be there in the afternoon. I went up there and he said, they were full, then another guy said , they were full too. So, that left me w the impression they didn't want to do it that day. I decided, I wouldn't push it but, I did let one of the guys know. He told me to come back at 3ish. I did and he wasn't there but the other guy took care of it. There was one other car ahead of me and then he said , he would get to my vehicle and it would take 45m. He timed it perfectly. I was thankful about his honesty regarding wait time and completing the Oil Change in 45. The waiting room is small with a few chairs inside and is not that cool. It may be because it's a window ac. Also,They have not paid their Netflix account so, you can't watch Netflix but they have Tubi and Roku. There was a Nigerian lady talking on speaker phone and another guy complaining about how he should have been informed about the services before being charged. I agree w him. I brought it to the service advisor's attention that, I may not need an Oil change. I just assumed so because, my maintenance light was on. He said, he would check it . I expected him to explain why it needed to be changed or show me but, he didn't? He changed it and I found out, it didn't need to be changed. My oil is changed every 10k miles. I didn't receive a receipt either. I don't know what kind of oil was used, how many qts were used. He also removed my oil reminder stickers wo asking. I wanted those for my records. He also, messed with my dimmer knob so my Control Panel was dim. Ugg, so uncomfortable. The Service Advisor was knowledgeable with Groupon too that's a plus. Their Internet was slow so, I had to go outside to redeem by Groupon. Also, the parking lot is pretty full so space can be tight. The music is cranked up load in the shop too. So, if your ok with this type of atmosphere come here. If, not look elsewhere.

At the end of their workday, I took a chance and called Family Tire & Automotive Services. I spoke with Howard and explained. His reply was to bring them in first thing, and they would get our two cars diagnosed and serviced. In full disclosure FT&AS had serviced my wife's car with a flat tire only weeks earlier and she was thrilled with their service. I am not so easily impressed with automotive maintenance experiences so was going to reserve judgement. Next morning, we had our cars on premises just before their opening at 8AM. Staff was already readying for the day. Howard greeted us, took our statement, and offered to get the brakes on the one car looked at so we went and grabbed breakfast. Shortly thereafter he said yes, the car needed new back brakes and he could get to work right away. The price was right ad I authorized the work. When that work was complete, we switched cars so he could investigate the steering issue. Howard called that afternoon to say the problem was a minor housing adjustment and that it was so quick and simple he wasn't going to charge me for it. I offered to pay for some labor, but he would not hear of it. All toll our experience at Family Tire & Automotive Services was top notch. They are not a dealership by way of a fancy and expensive waiting room. Not that a dealership service area is a very high bar. They are more a no-frills mom-and-pop operation. They're privately owned and run so every penny counts and they seem to go the extra mile to earn not only your immediate business but your future business. They seemed reputable and sincere in their intentions. Howard even texted me two days later to ask how the cars were doing (see attached photo). I've never received a personalized text from a dealership or any other automobile service before. Very nice touch! Ultimately, I will continue to give Family Tire & Automotive Services my business.

When I brought it in one Friday afternoon after it had just shut off on the road. The first place I took my car to told me I needed a new engine and it would cost me at least $6,000 after 20 Minutes of looking at my car. When I left in tears I took my car to Parra Car Care where they actually did the research took my whole engine apart to try to diagnose the issue and actually did the research to find out that my car had an engine recall in which case all of the repairs would be covered by the dealer! I do not recommend Christian Brothers Automotive on Rufe Snow. We have been customers for years,…read moretrusted them with multiple vehicles, and spent thousands of dollars here. What has happened with our 2015 Ford Escape has destroyed that trust. We brought the Escape in shortly after purchasing it because the A/C was blowing hot. On July 31, at 157,258 miles, CBA diagnosed an internal A/C compressor failure. During that same inspection, they specifically marked the drive belts "Good - No action needed," radiator hoses good, and reported no engine-bay leaks requiring action. We approved the A/C repairs, but the vehicle repeatedly had to return because the A/C still was not working correctly. During one return, CBA documented an engine-coolant-overtemperature condition, low coolant, and an air pocket after cooling-system work involving bleeding/refilling. They corrected that problem at no charge. On August 20, the Escape returned again. CBA documented P0217 engine overheating, low coolant, an active leak from the reservoir bleed-hose assembly, and stress cracking throughout the coolant expansion tank. Their report stated "Unable to Test Drive - Safety Issues." Their report also states that the computer restricted A/C compressor output because of overheating and that clearing the fault temporarily restored A/C pressures while the thermal safeguards were inactive. After the cooling-system repairs, CBA found internal noise from the A/C compressor and recommended replacing it under warranty. The compressor we had already paid to have repaired therefore had to be replaced again under warranty. We also have texts from CBA acknowledging issues with their inspection process. One says "we missed his note" regarding the air-filter housing. Another says "there were some concerns missed on the inspection report" and that their foreman wanted to inspect the vehicle again. Then our Escape shut down while being driven and became completely undrivable. CBA's latest diagnosis says the belt tensioner pulley seized, generated severe heat, melted the idler pulley, snapped the drive belt, damaged the A/C compressor seal, and caused the belt to disconnect the crankshaft-position-sensor plug, preventing the engine from starting. They recommended replacing the belt, tensioner, idler pulley, harmonic balancer, alternator and A/C compressor. We were then told the belt should have been replaced because the vehicle was over 150,000 miles. But CBA inspected this vehicle at 157,258 miles and specifically documented "Drive Belts Good - No action needed." If the belt should have been replaced at 150,000 miles, why did their own technician inspect it at more than 157,000 miles and recommend no action? Their latest written report also connects the 150,000-mile recommendation to the timing belt kit and water pump, not the accessory drive belt that broke. We are not expecting a mechanic to predict every future failure. Our concern is the overall history: repeated returns, cooling-system problems, overheating, repeated A/C problems, warranty replacement, CBA acknowledging missed inspection concerns, and finally a major failure leaving the vehicle undrivable. We also have a 2001 Lincoln Navigator that returned because the A/C still wasn't working correctly and it continued shaking at idle. While CBA had it, we were informed that during a test run the starter became stuck engaged and burned out. CBA ultimately replaced the starter at no charge. At this point, we have lost confidence in this location. We want accountability, complete documentation, applicable warranties honored, and a technical explanation for how a vehicle repeatedly inspected and repaired by this location ended up undrivable shortly afterward. If CBA maintains that none of its previous repairs, workmanship, installation/reassembly, or recently replaced components contributed to what happened, we want the technical basis for that conclusion documented--not simply a statement that the current failure is our responsibility. We trusted this company and continued returning because we believed they would stand behind their work. Unfortunately, that trust is gone. If this situation is resolved appropriately, I will update this review accordingly.

So I went online and made an appointment and soon received confirmation of my appointment. Walking in for my appointment you are greeted in what I would call concierge type of engagement from the greeting, and engagement on my service. I sat in a nice waiting room and my service was completed within 30 minutes. They offer coffee, water comfortable furniture and TV of course.
