I love a sports massage that works out all the knots. Kay was truly fantastic!! I was so relaxed while she worked her magic.I instantly felt so much looser and in less pain. The massage bed was cushy, relaxing music was playing, room was dimly lit, and I was very comfortable. This is my 2nd review. During my peak training for my first long distance triathlon, I came to see Kay weekly. She helped me with not only good massage that she made sure each muscle of my body was relaxed after the massage, she also did cupping to release tension. I really recommend her for athletes. Recently my tendon in my left ankle hurt from running in cold weather (29F). She said she could not fix tendon but she made sure the muscle around the tendon was taken care of. Then put ice. AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! I cannot express how great Kay is! She is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly talented! My neck and back were full of knots on top of knots. I was in pain, but with 2 young kids and a busy schedule, I though that I would just have to deal with it...UNTIL my husband discovered Kay! She made time to fit me in and I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage. Somehow was able to help me to feel a million times better! She used techniques that she learned from her family when she was a child and THEY REALLY HELPED! I have had many many massages in my life...all over the country...at little family-owned businesses, 5-star luxury spas, and everywhere else in between...and I must say that I think that the massage that I received from Kay is at the very tip top of my list, maybe even the very top! Finally found someone that works! Kay takes the time to understand your issues, comfort and pressure tolerance, and tailors your massage perfectly. She can mix in sports/deep tissue and targets areas as needed, taking the time to work out specific knots. Best is her using different stretching techniques so you leave feeling like you've had an adjustment! LOVE HER! Scheduling is easy, and Kay is super responsive. I cannot understand why there aren't more reviews for Kay. I recently had my first appointment with her about 2 days ago. I had accumulated a lot of knots in my back and neck and desperately needed massage relief. Kay was kind enough to slide me in 1 hour before closing---a much-needed session. I cannot recommend her services enough. Walking in, you'll find yourself at a front desk within an intimate atmosphere. Quiet and serene are just a few words that come to mind. Before heading into the room, I was asked if I needed to use the restroom or if I needed water. I've been to many masseuses and my better experiences usually come from those that show this level of hospitality. I specifically requested a deep tissue massage, which is usually what I request for taking care of my knots. I was in a tremendous amount of discomfort but Kay went above and beyond what I had requested. I cannot emphasize enough that Kay is THE definition of a knowledgeable and professional masseuse. Best of all, she made me feel like she truly cared about my well-being and health. On top of the massage, she also offered me advice and suggestions on what I can do to reduce my discomfort. Look no more..... So far the best decision of my life was getting a lymphatic massage with Kay, she has very soft hands and you can tell she is very knowledgeable on the massages she performs. I had a tummy tuck with lipo on the 8th of April, it was done in Mexico (great Dr. by the way) i had 4 lymphatic massages down there and yes they were great but big difference with Kay. She's super gentle and works every part of your discomfort, for me she started on my upper back and arms which was my main complaint, then she worked on my front stomach area, she was very gentle where my incision was. And was explaining step by step. Very sweet lady,then she worked on my thighs to my toes. I can honestly say, I felt so so wonderful, the ambiance y nice and quiet, the place is clean, and the relaxing music a plus. She gave me a bottled water, and those 60 min felt like 5.
