I was in a major car accident for the first time in my life.. of course with everything that needs…read moreto go on after an accident (get a new car because the last car was a total loss, meet with lawyers, deal with all the doctors appointments without a car, adapting to work with an injury) working on physical therapy was made enjoyable because of how sweet, caring and thoughtful EVERYBODY at Lyon's physical therapy was! Jesse the receptionist was always so accommodating with scheduling me, even getting me an appointment last minute on the day of! She was always very cheerful on my arrivals while checking in and I would listen to her whilst waiting for my appointment in the lobby, making calls to people who straight up no showed for their appointments they set, and yet she kindly and cheerfully set up a new appointment for them! A lot of patience in that sweet girl! I worked with Laura mostly during my PT and she is the sweetest, most empathetic, gentlest, and cheerful young lady! She always greeted me with a compliment, I loved conversing with her throughout my appointment because it put me at ease, made me feel welcome and made the sessions feel like a hang out with friends rather than a painful process tailing an awful accident. She always looked out for me to make sure I was comfortable. Speaking of great conversations, I could hear Kathryn talk about anything and everything and be completely entertained/engaged! When I first started my PT, I was very shy (I have major social anxiety) and I quietly sat working on my training. I was brought out of my bubble listening to Kathryn talk about her love for the WNBA~ I had no interest or experience with the WBNA prior but hearing her talk about it, I wanted to hear more! She's just so engaging to talk to! Dr. Colton is very caring! With all the doctors appointments I had, he was the only one who truly listened to my concerns without dismissing them. I didn't feel like I had to convince him of the pain I was feeling, he believed me and worked to address the pain; now that I am officially released after weeks of PT, the pain is healed! On what was gonna be the last day of my PT, he suggested I have one more session next week and he assigned me to do a strenuous activity like tennis or something to ensure I was completely good before he officially dispatched me. I am so thankful he decided that because in the back of my mind I was worried if I would experience any pain once it was all said and done. Happy to say I am healed and I have no more concerns! David is a student with the clinic and he gets a shout out because of his bright personality! I can tell he's very knowledgeable, very caring for his patients, he's sweet and he's going to make an amazing PT very soon! Keep up the great work! I've never had a major injury so I had no idea what to expect going into PT, but I am very happy with my overall experience!
