This place is less about wellness and more about collecting as much money from as many injured people as possible. We ended up switching to a better therapy provider and it's taking weeks to get a refund back from Tim Soder Physical Therapy. They sure take the money fast but when they owe you, they drag their feet. Even now, I'm sitting in their main waiting room asking about the refund. I finally got an answer. So even though we paid ahead, they wouldn't authorize a refund until they made sure they got money first from the insurance company. My advice, NEVER PAID AHEAD FOR ANY THERAPY SERVICES!!! I had a terrible experience with the gym and the front desk. I loved the therapists, though I have been going for months and stopped using the gym component for the same reason everyone else listed here. I was constantly hunting the staff down on what to do next, and there was lots of bro-ing out amongst the staff, so it turned me off, as they didn't seem to be focused on the patients or work. I digress. The final straw came when I was 10 minutes late for an appointment. I asked to still be seen as the appointments were 20 minutes long since I drove all the way there. The receptionist refused me, but I insisted and insisted, and they finally saw me. I also commented that no one seemed to be doing anything, so I'm not sure why it's a problem to see me. This was related to the gym not the therapists but I was distraught over being refused treatment so it came out at the wrong time. A week passed, and I called to make my next appointment, and they told me they were dropping me as a patient; mind you, this was probably the day my pain was 10 out of 10, and I could barely get out of bed and needed the treatment. She told me, "because they work really hard and it was unacceptable that I said they stand around and are doing nothing." It's unfortunate, but people don't value customers or relationships anymore to do any conflict resolution -- they want to defend themselves and perhaps walk away to deflect the inefficiencies and problems they know exist. Not a single person addressed me being upset when I walked into the treatment room that day, they all stood around and did nothing ... proving my point exactly. I will be going elsewhere to seek treatment, and I will disadvise anyone I know from going there -- again, it's a real shame as I was recommended there by several high-profile people in the community as well as a family member. read more

Tim Soder Physical Therapy treated my son for pitcher's elbow, my husband for a torn labrum in his shoulder, and now me for a torn meniscus in my knee. All three of us loved our experience here. The staff is kind and caring without being intrusive. I was given a simple series of exercises that have helped speed my recovery and lessen my pain. The staff members got me started and then check in periodically to make sure I'm doing the exercises correctly. The 10-minute massage each visit is an unexpected treat. Icing and electrical stimulation after the exercises help as well. I never feel rushed. The check-in process and co-pay could not be easier. A little background on me before I tell you just how amazing TSPT is. I was a baseball player throughout my entire life, playing in HS, College, and even professionally. I had some issues with my hamstrings/elbow issues while in college, and this is where I ended up to start my PT as a young adult. Tim is the owner (go figure lol) and is always there making sure things are run smooth. Joe always plays a huge part of TSPT and I have nothing but amazing things to say. Tim and Joe are always taking care of their clients too where I believe I don't see this in other PT businesses. Ok Ok... did it work???? Hell yes PT here worked for me! I was able to get back into tip top shape before going off and playing professional baseball! Thanks guys! During my pro baseball career I ended up having a knee surgery, which TSPT was the first place I turned to, who then built me back up and got me back into the best shape of my life. I then had a labrum and rotator cuff surgery a couple years later (from baseball), which again, they put me back into phenomenal shape and baseball ready in no time. 20 years later they are still here and Im back with another injury (this time my lower back L1-L5). Ashley is at the front desk, Ashley and I went to HS together and she's such a hard ass worker, she's always running around that office with her head cut off and kicking ass. I have worked with a couple of people back there but Jessi is the one who I have been working with the most. I recently finished my physical therapy with Tim Soder P.T. in Henderson, due to a total right hip replacement in July Everyone from the front office crew greeting you by your name upon arrival, to Calvin, all therapist and staff in the back were great. Everyone is very professional, helpful, and friendly. When I started rehab, I was walking with the help of a cane. After starting PT, I got stronger with every visit, and no longer required the help of my cane. I referred myself to this location after getting into a rear end accident. I had seen the location and read the great reviews so decided this is where I wanted to do my treatment. There are a lot of places to get treatment in town, but I made the correct decision in coming to TSPT. Sam initially did measurements and testing on me and set me up with a treatment plan. Treatment consisted of therapeutic exercise "gym time", massage, electric stimulation, heat/ice and a crazy traction machine. I worked with Chris in the gym primarily and he showed me a lot of great stretches and strengthening exercise. He always has a very positive outlook, is very informative, friendly and has the best shoes. For massage and other treatment I primarily worked with Joe and Mary. Joe, has the hottest hands. Not like sexy hot, but you know warm. Well maybe sexy too.. LOL. They both pretty much tortured me(in a good way) to get out all the bad trigger spots causing pain. And the front desk ladies are very friendly and accommodating. I never had a problem getting good appointment times that worked for me, getting lockers to put my stuff in or getting my bills and records. They submitted my billing to my insurance company for me and it was very easy. I am still treating with them and may consider doing personal training at their facility when able to. Their facility is state of the art, has great equipment and they train professional athletes, dancers, etc. Most of the time I would be treating next to a professional athlete recovering from some sort of surgery. On my first appointment, after my assessment, I was sent to the gym. The gym tech gave me a very brief description of what I was supposed to do for each exercise and then walked away. I had to flag him down after each exercise to find out what to do next. There was no one-on-one attention and nobody was making sure I was doing the exercises correctly. The techs were standing around, looking bored, chitchatting or looking at their phones. After doing some exercises, I was asked if I wanted to do heat or ice and stim (TENS unit). I asked if that was what was recommended for me, and the tech said, "if you want you can do it, or you can leave now." I said, "Okay, I'm here, I'll do it - should I do ice or heat?" He said, "Whichever you want." I would think that one or the other would be recommended based on the specific injury but I couldn't get an answer, so I chose heat and stim. Here is the kicker. He hooked me up to the TENS unit (on my foot) and wrapped my foot in a heating pad. The tech said it was for 10 minutes, and he would be back to unhook me. He left the gym and never came back. After 20 minutes, still hooked up, I was waving and trying to get someone's attention, with no success. I finally unwrapped my foot, pulled the leads off and left. Needless to say, I won't be going back. read more

From working long hours at the extremes of either all day at a desk or all day running around, I developed poor posture and habits which ultimately made my neck and back pain worse and worse. And since I was furloughed during COVID, it meant I finally had time to focus on myself. I started going to Tim Soder PT for my neck and after a couple of months, my neck range of motion was dramatically increased and I woke up with less pain. Then we started on my back and after working harder on my core, my back pain also decreased. Max, my therapist, was always flexible to work on the area where I had the most pain, given the week. Some of the exercises that were on my exercise therapy list were new to me and some I've done before, but it is good to have a focused exercise list to work on specific areas, rather than a broad list for an overall workout. The therapy definitely complemented the exercise regime. After the session, if I wanted to get heat or ice therapy I could have. I found it was not effective for me, so I passed on this mid-way through my time at TSPT. I also want to note all the ladies at the front reception were welcoming, friendly, and always nice with making adjustments or changes to my schedule. The front office staff makes a world of difference in the vibe of an establishment. You can tell everyone likes to work here and that translates to their customer service. For COVID precautions - they scan your temperature before you are let in. The machines are supposed to be wiped down after use by the user, but this is inconsistent. The staff try to clean in between uses but can't get to everything. Masks are mandatory but 25% of people wear the mask incorrectly. Overall, I think TSPT is an awesome place and would certainly be back if I have future issues. read more

I unfortunately tore my pectoral tendon during training, and needed the BEST physical therapy available to get myself back to full capability ASAP. I started my physical therapy sessions THE DAY AFTER surgery and was consistent on coming 3 days per week. Consistency, dedication, and hard work are key. It's equally important to have a knowledgeable and highly experienced physical therapist and supporting staff with you the entire way to ensure you're working hard, but not TOO HARD where you end up re-injuring yourself or irritating your injury to the point you move backwards instead of forward. That is what Tim Soder's staff did for me. I worked specifically with Joe, co-owner and expert physical therapist during my recovery. I also worked with Brandon as well, and he's awesome too. Joe is the guy that will push you as an athlete who wants to recover quickly, but do it in a safe and controlled way. It's hard work, but he will help guide you and encourage you! I owe a lot of the speed of my recovery to Joe. Thanks Joe and staff. Their gym is world-class. It's not just a bunch of bands and balls. They also have full weights and machines to help you recover. I only started with this facility a week and a half ago and have decided this was not the place for me. The staff seemed cold and not welcoming to me. The only staff member that was pleasant was the person who did the hot/cold treatments. He was really nice. I was late on my second appt 15 minutes and missed my treatment which was fine. So i was sent to the gym. I went to the podium and did three exercises. This was my first time in the gym. My issues were I was not advised as to what i should expect. I was not advised about how they expected me to go back to the podium after every set of exercise to find the staff member that was supposed to help me (while they stand around talking at the podium) come show me whats next. My next issue was, yes i was 5 minutes late this time & was told it was too late for treatment. Which if i was only 5 mins late, why was i not at least allotted 10 minutes of treatment. But ok. I was really sore from what i did the previous appt so i declined the gym. I was given the hot treatment only for 10 mins & charged my $60 co pay & sent on my way. I should have just no showed for $30. I called to cancel my next few appts due to a family situation and before I could say goodbye was hung up on. If i thought i would reschedule nope never. Iv gone to other therapy places & never experienced this. Only reason i switched to this place was appt availability. I guess i know why they have so much availability. read more

Tim Soder physical therapy is by far the best physical therapy place in Las Vegas. They do also have an office in Henderson. I've had two knee replacements. In the last seven months, so I have spent quite a bit of time there, since January. All of the therapists are great, but the one I work with most is Jesse. She has helped me so much. She is very knowledgeable about knees, and how to strengthen them. And the thing I like most is they customize your physical therapy to you personally. It's not one size fits all, like the other therapy places that I have gone to in the past. And if I'm doing an exercise the wrong way, someone will come up and show me the correct way to do it. Everyone there really does care about my rehabilitation. When I walk in, everybody knows my name. And they are always updating my exercises, depending on how well I am doing. It is also a great atmosphere to work out in. There are people there of all ages, from teenagers to ninety year olds. They have a full gym and all of the workers there are very knowledgeable and friendly. I know that I am receiving the best rehabilitation possible. I needed to go to PT for my hip issues. The first clinic I went to was not up to par. I never saw the same PT and one of the PT's had no idea what he was doing. They had me doing random exercises and I was not getting any better. I asked a friend for a referral to a new place. She recommended TSPT. I could not be happier. Tim did my evaluation and the very next session I had dry needleling therapy and some exercises and had already felt better after 1 session. Tim also told me my hip was shifted which the previous clinic did not even know or tell me about this. All the PTA's and athletic trainers are very knowledgeable and willing to help. I like that the atmosphere is laid back and the staff are all very friendly and funny. The clinic has a wide open space for patients, several rooms and lots of manual therapies as well not just exercises. I am so glad to be a patient here and would highly recommend TSPT! I had gone to two other PT places in the valley and both left me frustrated. My doctor gave me a sheet of paper with all local PT places he works with and told me to pick one. I began reading reviews and doing research and decided on Tim Soder Physical Therapy. My first appointment, I was very nervous, perhaps a little scared and unsure of what to expect. Matt G was assigned to me and our first meeting was quite awkward. I was guarded, I was protective of my injury and Matt was so incredibly friendly! I explained my bad past experiences and he promised nothing like that would ever occur at TSPT. I asked Matt if he would be my guy for every time I came in and he said yes. He absolutely made me feel comfortable, made me feel safe, made me feel appreciated for choosing TSPT. My first actual PT session was a few days after the initial meeting. Matt was there to greet me. He introduced me to the staff and then he personally was hands-on with my injury. He was gentle, he was caring and he was focused on me. He then handed me over to Jordan who took me through my exercises. Again, professional, focused on me. After my exercises, I relaxed on a table with electrical muscle stimulation and two ice packs. I've gone to 8 appointments so far and had one follow-up with my doctor. Doctor is pleased with my progress and I sang the praises of TSPT! It is all them, guiding me, helping me, strengthening me with their knowledge and their compassion. Doctor says I will be able to avoid surgery if I keep progressing as I am! Extremely dissatisfied about this facility. I had high hopes because of the fairly good reviews but was devastatingly let down. Although I was happy with the PT I had seen, I was really frustrated about the gym and the techs in the gym area, especially when this is where majority of your time is spent. I should have known this was going to be a problem the moment I saw that the PT needed to constantly flag a tech to help me with the exercises and the muscle electric machine. First off, all the techs seem so lazy. All they do is talk among themselves in the middle table. They sometimes walk around but all they do is check with patients they like or are close with. A good facility with good service does not discriminate against talkative and non-talkative patients. All patients, irregardless of whether they are shy or social butterflies, should be given attention. Secondly, as a patient, you're not even given instructions on what to do. You're just told to go to the gym. I had to specifically ask a tech to know that I'm suppose to just do the exercises that my PT had instructed me to do (at home) but this time in the gym setting. I didn't even know I was waiting for a massage etc. No one tells you anything! You have to keep asking the techs, who were more focused on chatting among themselves. I don't understand why they have so many, to be quite honest. It's really sad. They seem to have good PTs and have a fairly good front office staff. They just lack supervision in the gym area, which is really unfortunate, because that's where your rehabilitation begins and ends. Will I come back? Absolutely not. It's like paying $50, each visit, just for a regular gym. I didn't even see my PT at all. I just saw him once. read more
