I was never badgered to buy any supplements or further training. However, I enjoyed our session and booked some more. I'm down 22lbs and feel fantastic. I weight train and take the Alpha class(Vic is great). Gigi is encouraging and really listened to my concerns and goals. My husband does training with Manuel and has seen similar improvements. The pools and locker rooms are very clean. Dry sauna, chill pool, and hot tubs are available at this location. So sorry we waited so long to join.

So, I have gotten into the habit lately of hitting up a yoga class of some sort in the evenings…read moreafter a long day at work, and before teaching my class in the early mornings. Thankfully, ClassPass has made this so much easier to switch it UP! As a part time fitness instructor with a very strong routine, I constantly find myself craving variety. This place has been on my hit list for a while and I was so happy to be able to finally go last night! And boy, am I glad I did. I tried the hot vinyasa class with Lesa and it was 60 minutes of hot and sweaty bliss. The room was packed and the VYBE was jumping! I was warmly greeted and even though I arrived a few minutes before class Lesa greeted me happily and showed me the ropes. They have towels and water/beverages for purchase. BYO yoga mat but they have those as well. The salt lamps in the studio were a beautiful touch and so were the essential oils. I parked my mat pretty close to the diffuser so I was LOVING the aromatherapy while I got my yoga on. Lesa's class was a booty kicker but she also broke it down and provided modifiers for those of us who aren't so limber but aspire to be (raises hand). Blame my tight endurance athlete hamstrings. At the end of the 60 minutes they provide you with essential oil infused cold towels. The Lakeside area is the perfect location, surrounded by luxury living as well as an abundance of retail shops. The community seems very tight knit here as well. Thankful I was able to come here and cannot wait to use my ClassPass to return for another hot class soon and very soon!!

The result is predictable: noise, theatrics, phones everywhere, tik tok dances, twerking in front of mirrors, zero etiquette, and conversations that sound like they belong in a locker room detention, not a training facility. When teenage boys feel comfortable loudly telling other grown men they "smell like ball cheese," or huddling up in groups of six around one BP playing clash of clans for 45 minutes and don't even have the decency to re-rack the weights or maybe it's the fact they have the audacity to treat the crossfit equipment as if they're at a McDonalds playground. the issue isn't just immaturity, it's the absence of standards. A serious gym doesn't create space for that behavior, let alone normalize it. Fix it. If this is the direction you're comfortable with, then by all means continue down this path but I for one am absolutely FED up with it. Time and time and time again I've given chance after chance after chance but coming from someone that signed the day this gym opened I'll make my decision accordingly.

From a member perspective It is VERY much a non-intimidating environment and you will feel comfortable attending and participating as much or as little as you like. I have been working out 6-7 days a week including cardio and weight training for years but due to…read moremy frequent travel for my job, personal preferences in food as well as convenience I let myself down due to often poor or at least not ideal food choices and thus could never reach my ideal body composition. It was time for me to reset the clock and do things different. But I knew I needed help and Rachel got recommended to me and I met with her and felt comfortable that she would be the right person to help me on my journey. I worked with her on a 3 month program that was initially geared to make better food choices while on the road and get more knowledgeable on nutrition while she would hold me accountable. Due to Covid19 things changed and other challenges e.g. lack of physical activity came up. Nevertheless, the knowledge and tools as well as the continuous consulting Rachel provided guided me through this phase with weekly weight loss goals and sometimes a pep-talk if needed. Just by changing my macro nutrition content and the caloric intake I was able to shed over 25 lbs. in 3 month with basically no loss of muscle. Working with Rachel was great, she is very knowledgeable and attentive to clients' needs but what distinguishes her from many others coaches out there is that I felt she really cares about you as a human being and understands that even failure can be a success if the right conclusions are drawn from it. She was always patient and encouraging but at the same time was clear on the goal expectation. I can definitely recommend her. Doing this 3 month nutrition coaching was definitely one of the best choices I made.
