We had a great chat and made sure to answer all of my questions fully and didn't make me feel rushed at all. My free intro class was coached by Chloe. She was very welcoming and so were the other members. Chloe did (and always does) a great job teaching each movement and proving effective cues all while keeping a fun and upbeat vibe! My husband and I have been members for 2 years now and it's safe to say it was the best decision we could have made. Not only did we find a great, safe, and fun place to workout, we have met some of our best friends which has made Denton feel like home faster than we could have ever expected. Jason and Molly have since moved the gym to a bigger and better location and as a member I feel super spoiled every time I walk in. The equipment is well maintained and there is plenty of space to workout without bumping into fellow athletes. They have adjusted SO well to accommodating new safety standards due to COVID-19. Each athlete is able to workout in a designated area safely spaced from others. They also added several new programs that can be done at home for those who still do not feel safe. I was working 70-80 hours a week, getting by on 4-5 hours sleep nightly, Not making time to exercise, eating on the run often fast food, and burdened with stress I was unable to manage. I was a mess! With the tools GYIS uses to establish motivation, encouragement and accountability, I have successfully restructured all 3 areas and am already stronger, sleeping better, and after 6 weeks I am 23 lbs lighter. While the workouts are different day to day and include great variety, they are challenging. I recently joined this Boot Camp class and have attended only 3 classes so far. The class starts at…read more5:30 am and is held indoors at the gym at Camden Apartments in Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. It takes me exactly 8 mins to get there in the morning from Uptown so it works well. The classes are small and quite personal. They make sure you are doing everything properly and guide you through your weight loss or wait gain needs :) For me, its more of a support system if you want to call it that. I know they push us hard lots of times and there is no way I would work out that hard on my own unless someone was pushing me like that to keep me going. And seeing other people perform better only makes me try harder. So I am looking forward to the results in the upcoming months. But I highly recommend this class or Boot Camp for anyone looking to get in shape without a Gym commitment or contract.

We've been working with Amber for almost six months now, and we've seen impressive changes in muscle mass growth and fat reduction, that we have nothing but praises for her style. My partner has lost over 50 pounds in said time, and I have increased my endurance and muscle mass in my triathlon training. Amber is constantly pushing us to challenge ourselves and finding ways to adapt to the very different training needs we both need, and she's fantastic whether it is solo or couple's training. And on that makeup comment.. please, her makeup is just perfect (not that she needs any), and anyone who complains isn't worth her time anyway. I have been working out 6-7 days a week including cardio and weight training for years but due to…read moremy frequent travel for my job, personal preferences in food as well as convenience I let myself down due to often poor or at least not ideal food choices and thus could never reach my ideal body composition. It was time for me to reset the clock and do things different. But I knew I needed help and Rachel got recommended to me and I met with her and felt comfortable that she would be the right person to help me on my journey. I worked with her on a 3 month program that was initially geared to make better food choices while on the road and get more knowledgeable on nutrition while she would hold me accountable. Due to Covid19 things changed and other challenges e.g. lack of physical activity came up. Nevertheless, the knowledge and tools as well as the continuous consulting Rachel provided guided me through this phase with weekly weight loss goals and sometimes a pep-talk if needed. Just by changing my macro nutrition content and the caloric intake I was able to shed over 25 lbs. in 3 month with basically no loss of muscle. Working with Rachel was great, she is very knowledgeable and attentive to clients' needs but what distinguishes her from many others coaches out there is that I felt she really cares about you as a human being and understands that even failure can be a success if the right conclusions are drawn from it. She was always patient and encouraging but at the same time was clear on the goal expectation. I can definitely recommend her. Doing this 3 month nutrition coaching was definitely one of the best choices I made.
