I have been training at Nexgen for just over 3 months and I am addicted! I love that I can work out in a private room with a knowledgeable trainer rather than in the middle of a big gym with people all around. Alexa is the trainer I work with and she is very good at what she does. She constantly challenges me with increased weight and new exercises. I have joined big gyms in the past but never felt like I really knew how to properly use the equipment. Alexa shows me what she wants me to do and pays close attention to my form so I feel like I am getting the most out of every exercise without worrying about injury. When I started, I was so weak that I seriously couldn't even bench press the weight bar without any weight on it. As a 55 year-old small-boned woman, I worried about bone loss and osteoporosis. I have seen this place so many times before and I have always thought it looked intriguing !!what do they do in there exactly! So one day when I was getting a shake next door and I dared to look inside . It looked amazing! I saw a brochure laying on their counter and they were running a special that was made for me! I booked a trial session in the private workout room that has everything including ropes! And trained with Alexa ... that was it ! I joined on there special for 5 months of commitment ! I love it! Hard workouts tailored to your goals with music to fit your mood ( which Clint sits down and does an in-depth assessment and body measurements) It's a cool , clean spot that offer you water and fruit after your private workouts. I can't say enough. I love the staff and Alexa is nice until she starts the workout. Lol They are there to make you challenge yourself. I recommend and have recommend ! I love this gym! You walk in and it smells extremely fresh and clean. A lot of other gyms I have walked into smell like sweat, which is understandable, but the cleanliness of this gym is bar none. The cardio area in the front leads way to your own PRIVATE suite where you can work out one on one with your trainer so you don't have to worry about prying eyes or feeling self conscious. The fruit infused water upon arrival and the cold peppermint infused towels after the workout truly make the experience worthwhile. The trainers there are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. They really know how to get the most out of you. I look forward to my training sessions every week knowing I am coming into a clean, well looked after gym with trainers who really know their stuff and are passionate about helping me to my goals. A good friend recommended that I contact Clint James at NexGen in Flower Mound as I was not pleased with the trainer I was seeing at the time. I am glad I did. Clint is a terrific trainer as he understands the muscular system and he is a great coach. He observes my strengths and weaknesses and programs my workouts to improve my stamina, flexibility as well as muscle strength. He pays attention to my form and technique so that I do not injury myself. He encourages with great enthusiasm and support. All of the staff is so warm and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and always answer any questions I might have. They work closely with me in order to achieve the goals I have for myself. They push me to work harder and do what they can to work with me, whether it's with specific exercises, goals, and/or scheduling. The fitness trainers at Nexgen Fitness are outstanding. They're very knowledgeable, professional, and fun! Doing the same work out is tedious and demotivating. The trainers cater your work out session based on your personal goals and meet you where you are. I wanted to improve my strength but worried about acquiring an injury with weight lifting. My trainer is qualified, smart and flexible. An unexpected unexpected diagnosis requires chemo and surgery in the coming months. Love this gym. As a person in my 60's, my trainer Will makes sure I don't hurt myself when working out, yet he pushes me to my limit. I've been other places that don't adjust to your age and you end up hurt. The sessions are private or semi-private which I also love.
