I attended my first FitnessSocial KB workout shortly after purchasing a one month pass for my sister in September 2023. She fell in love with this gym and the great people there and has been attending ever since. I have taken a few classes and attended their special events. When she started leading a KB/TRX workout on Monday nights in November I have begun attending weekly or twice weekly. This is really a nice gym, clean, organized and everyone is friendly. The classes are not crowded and you receive individulized instruction and positive encouragement during each class. They offer more than just KB and TRX and host lots of great events. There are also spa services available on site. Their instagram is updated daily. Great location as well!

I frequent FitnessSocial for the beauty side, they have a couple estheticians and cosmetologist on one side of the building. My girl is Bri she does my eyelashes and stage makeup. Bri always does a phenomenal job and delivers exactly what I ask for! She's super flexible time wise, offers a traveling fee if you need her to bring her talents to you, but most importantly she is open to feedback. Before you leave she always asks if there's anything she can correct and this most recent time I wanted something blended a bit better and she delivered. I will always rave about these ladies :)

I used to dread going to the gym. big commercial gyms stress me out, too crowded, too many people…read moreflexing in mirrors, nobody actually helpful. The Iron Office is nothing like that. this place has a different energy entirely. serious equipment, serious people, but zero intimidation factor. everyone I've encountered here has been focused and respectful and nobody makes you feel like you don't belong. the equipment selection is legit. if you actually want to lift and not just use machines, this is your spot. free weights, barbells, the kind of setup that serious lifters actually want. open 24 hours which I use more than I expected. late night sessions after work are my thing now and not having to think about closing time is huge. William comes up in a lot of reviews and for good reason. knowledgeable, encouraging without being pushy, and clearly invested in the people who train here. that kind of community doesn't happen by accident. I've been going for several months and the thought of going back to a Planet Fitness or LA Fitness genuinely doesn't appeal to me anymore. The Iron Office just hits different. if you're serious about your training or you want to get serious, this is the gym in Fresno to be at.

After moving closer to the Nees location, we started coming here regularly and were honestly shocked by the difference. Compared to the other locations, this one feels neglected. Especially during the summer, it is so uncomfortably hot inside. With temperatures being 105+ degrees lately, the A/C should absolutely be running, fans should be going, and it should not feel as muggy and stuffy as it does. The other locations don't feel this way at all. On top of that, there are times it smells unpleasant and overall just looks like it's not cleaned or maintained to the same standard. I have noticed a cleaning crew more recently, which is appreciated, but for a private gym (especially one that has won "Best Fitness Center" four years in a row) I expected much better, particularly when the other locations are so nice and well-kept. This Nees location doesn't even compare. That being said, there are definitely positives. I love the equipment selection, it's never overcrowded, and the trainers/staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I just wish this location received the same level of care as the others because it has so much potential.

I first started attending The Bar Method the end of January and I have so many things to say…read more Barre is a workout that is low-impact, high-intensity inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates. You build muscular endurance and strength through small, controlled movements and high repetitions The Bar Method Fresno offers a few types of classes from what I've seen: Bar Method, Bar Method Express, Bar Method Cardio Express, & Bar Strength Express. I signed up as a first time client with an intro offer they had going. $78 for 13 classes. I typically take the regular Bar Method or Bar Method express classes. Love the environment. The cues are extremely helpful and clear and all the instructors have been knowledgeable and correct you without making you feel so singled out. If you need child care they do offer child care during classes so definitely ask about that. All in all if you're looking to switch things up and open to taking a workout class I'd definitely recommend.

Because of my work schedule, I rarely make anything but the weekday lunchtime classes at 12noon which are the Express classes. I personally prefer the hour long, slower paced classes, but work prevents me from attending those. I've noticed that other than a few teachers, many start late and go later than 45 mins during the week, which is a challenge for many. I see as many as 50% of the class students leave to get back to work before class is finished. This could be handled I think if all classes started and ended on time? Cat seems to be on time every class I have taken. For my experience as a 62 year old overweight woman with multiple past injuries, my needs are different than probably someone who is 20-50 years old. That said, for my purposes, Cat has been the most proactive in helping me get acclimated, helping me with workout modifications and if something is hurting, helping me work around it. Today, I told her I had hurt myself in another class and she showed me a modification that really helped and prevented more pain. I got my on time 45 mins workout and was home on time. I will mention some of the benefits of the other teachers: Lisa - the hardest classes by far. She will straight up tell you this is going to be hard and it's going to be 50+ minutes instead of 45 mins. BELIEVE HER! Fine for a Saturday which is the only time I have had to take her class. Marissa - she was filling in I guess on Labor Day Weekend and I found her class very challenging but well balanced. Lauren - is recently back from maternity leave. Her classes last week were super full! I really love her music selections. Harmony - I have always had a good class with Harmony but I rarely see her during the week, maybe she teaches earlier most days? All in all, I had been prevented from doing my weekly gym workouts from an injury. Getting back into it and seeing all my clothes fit easily again is worth every penny and my dedication to going at least 3x a week and I probably should go 4x a week, but for a monthly membership of $170 it works out to about $13 a class which is very economical. ~ Ms. Ali
