I've been enjoying riding at cyclebar Fresno! Each class always kicks my ass and I consider myself very fit! It's very easy to accommodate to your fitness level- beginner or seasoned rider. I love how they stepped up with other rhythm riding studios by adding more choreography! It's been so fun and challenging to do! The instructors are fire and alway provide a great workout! One thing I wish they did was provide towels during class. I'm used to other cycling studios providing towels so I always forget to bring one here and end up regretting it. read more

The instructors are the reason I keep showing up -- they're positive, motivating, and push you without ever making you feel out of place. Absolutely amazing staff at this Cycle Bar, everyone here is super friendly but also great at what they do. I liked all of the instructors I had in my two weeks working out here. The whole place is super clean, they keep it spotless (even the bathrooms). The large bathrooms and locker area are much appreciated, as is the easy parking. My one critique is I wish they offered more Empower and Performance rides, the Classic rides are ok, but a little too upper body focused for me. Otherwise, it's a great spin gym! read more

I would NOT recommend you getting a membership from them. The staff is not helpful and makes it impossible for you to cancel/downgrade your membership plan. They also will change your monthly plan to a higher plan and also NOT notify you about it! If you're looking to do cycle bar I would recommend doing it by class pass!!! I am new to indoor cycling world so this was interesting to try. I was unaware at first, they had free new riders class. My first class for $15 (along $4 rental shoes) was strength and it was a challenge. I got familiar with the classes as I kept going. the reps in the front are friendly and answer my questions to the best of their knowledge. Ended up buying my own pair of shoes so I wouldn't have to rent them each class. They offer membership deals just make sure you read ALL of the fine print. With the regular unlimited price at $169 I have seen other places offer a lot more than just one type of area in fitness. I would still recommend this place to my friends. read more

I reeeeeeeeally wanted to love this location because I visit Fresno often and I love my home studio in SoCal. But, now with the inconsistent policies they've established, I probably won't return. I bought a 3-pack ride and since I'm visiting from out of town, I wasn't told I would be charged a shoe rental. So I go to the first two classes without a hitch, but in the third class I'm told if I want to use the card on file for the extra charge. I'm perplexed -- "what fee?" I asked the young lady at the front desk. I understand policies change, but going two out of three classes without a fee and then randomly getting stuck with a random fee without being warned on the last ride of my pass was a bit of a slap to the face. Then I felt gaslit as I was told I had apparently opted out of text messaging - as if it was my fault their staff didn't consistently uphold their policy. It's not so much the policy that bothered me but the way it was handled. A simple "hey, next time you'll get charged a fee since you weren't informed," would've been the correct way of handling this situation, instead of the "well it looks like someone isn't doing their job" (yes, this a direct quote from one of the ladies at the front desk - super unprofessional and ironic because I'm preeeeetty sure she was working on one of the days I attended) and "you opted out of texting" (which I didn't even know I did) treatment I received. The younger two ladies at the front desk are a little more green and very sweet, but the third lady just gave mean girl energy - and in my experience the CycleBar brand upholds kindness, warmth and community. This interaction instead gave the complete opposite. The front staff is a little short-sighted. They lost a potential membership sale over a $4 shoe rental. Oh well. The instructors here are killer though. I'm on assignment in Fresno for a while and I was really contemplating purchasing a longer membership but this left a bad taste in my mouth, no doubt. read more

I thrive with Motivation! I've taken a few classes over the last few weeks and all the instructors I've worked out with are adorable and so motivating and Inspiring. It's so nice because the room is dark with lots of lights going around the room and you can feel nothing but Good Vibes all around you. It is extremely clean and somebody is always trying to help you. All my neighbors that have been next to me are super friendly! I took a free intro class here as it was my first time at a spin class. It was an easy process to sign up and they texted me in order to schedule myself and a few friends. They provide free shoes and lockers to use. The employee at the front as well as the instructor introduced themselves to us and were very helpful in guiding me throughout the process and setting me up on the bike. After getting set up on the bike, they informed me the bike should turn on and numbers should start to appear. However, my bike was stuck on the "start pedaling" or "warm up" screen. I mentioned this to the lady at the front who helped me and she said she would come back to check on it. The instructor also came by and tried assisting me and just told me to keep pedaling and the bike will turn on. However, class started and my bike still was not working properly. I couldn't see anything on the screen except for "start pedaling" and then it would occasionally turn off. I feel as though my experience would have been exceptionally better if I had a proper functioning bike. It was already too late to switch as the class had begun and the music was blasting. I was unable to see the monitor to know what gear I was on and felt like that deterred me from pushing myself harder. Otherwise, the class was pretty enjoyable and challenging for a first timer. read more

I leave each class feeling physically and mentally better than when I started class. There's a good spread of class times. You can bring your own shoes or use a free pair at the studio. Moving from Arizona, I was determined to find a new cycle place. This place had great reviews so I decided to try it out. The first class is free which is really nice because you can decide if you like it or not. I downloaded the app so I can check out the schedule and instructors. This place has multiple types of classes which differ depending on whether you want to see the board (your stats compared to others in the same class) or just to ride with no board. One class (drop in) is pretty expensive compared to other spin classes I've taken in the past so if you like it I would invest in a package. There are always deals going on at this place so that's good. It's located in a pretty good plaza and it's pretty nice inside. Everyone is assigned a locker. I believe you can rent shoes if you don't have any. AC is always blasting in the room and these bikes each have a mini monitor to track your stats with weight bars on each side. The set up is pretty convenient and the instructors are really nice. read more

This is one of my favorite places to work out in Fresno! I've been going here on and off for the past few years, and have taken classes from a lot of instructors. It's always a great workout, and the studio does a lot of fun challenges and activities. Plus, working out with people is way better than working out alone. The studio also offers a lot of options for class times, so if you like to work out first thing or after work, you have options. I absolutely love Cycle Bar! I just recently started going and love it. The classes are super fun and encouraging. They are super helpful to new comers and helped me get set up for my first ride. The establishment is very clean and they even stock the bathrooms with essential products. My mom and I started Cycling about three months ago and we absolutely love it! You have to find the right trainers that fit your personality. Once you find the vibe that works for you and the class style you love it's really hard to quit. Even on days when we're super tired we find the energy to go and ride with our favorite trainers. If you like a class atmosphere and you need someone pumping you up to keep you going this is definitely the work out class for you! They're almost always doing new rider specials as well. read more

Nice facilities consistent with other CycleBar studios. Staff is friendly and instructors are high energy! The locker area can seem a bit small during transition time between classes, but is adequate. I do wish they offered power style classes to help transition riders (and build strength!) for road and mountain cycling. Overall, I've enjoyed my time here and will continue to take classes. I do recommend a class with Gil, Natalie and Ashley! Have yet to try a few of the others. read more

If I could give stars for the class alone then I'd give 5, but unfortunately the issues I've had with with the customer service of Cyclebar Corporate (this is a franchise and so it needs to follow the corporate policies) make it a one star. While you can sign up on line, you can't pause a membership without a fee and it has to be done in person. If you are sick or injured, you need to go into the store. If you want to cancel, you need to go into the store. Pausing is also limited and so if you can't go for a month you still have to pay the $150 or so a month. read more

Excellent customer service and a pristine and positive venue make CycleBar the best place for a workout in Fresno! Tonight I took my 2nd spin class ever as part of a Yelp elite event. I first visited this CycleBar when it first opened a few years ago, I had a good experience then too. Tonight's class/experience was Amazing! Putting aside the fun yelp elite extras-this is just such a nice place! The staff--all the staff-was so nice, helpful, cheerful, cool, just all around a perfect customer service experience. This place does not have one whiff of gym smell! They must clean constantly and have an A+ air filtration system and AC. The lobby and locker area spaces are a bit small but it's probably way less crowded when you're not coming in with a huge yelp group. The bathroom was pristine and had thoughtful amenities for CycleBar members--face wash, extra hair ties , a few other things,and a blow dryer. The class itself was fun! Even for a newbie! The class leader Maryanne was very nice but pushed us in a good way. The class was easy to follow along with and everyone is focused on her, you don't feel self conscious if you can't exactly keep up the entire time (like me :) . This might not be in my budget at the moment but I really hope to incorporate it into my routine sometime soon. If it is in your budget, it is definitely money well spent in my opinion. read more

Such a great cycling studio. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I walked in and let them know I was new and the instructor (Rachael) took me on the tour. She showed me how to sign in and use the lockers. She also helped out in the studio to fit everyone to their bikes. It was great. The class was really good. It was almost this perfect mix of Flywheel and SoulCycle. You have the metrics on your personal bike, however, Rachael did not put our names on the screen at all (except during little races). This way, I held myself accountable during the workout. The only small negative is that you have to rest the weight bar on the handle bars, but once I got used to its presence it was not a big deal. I really enjoyed the class and would recommend it to everyone. Also at Happy Hour after the Friday evening course they provided everyone with a glass of hard Arnold Palmer. Such a nice gesture. read more

Whenever I go to Fresno to visit family I look for somewhere to work out. Since spin is my go to workout I chose CycleBar. I understand that many studios tend to do the "dance" style and CycleBar adopts this style as well. I'm not a huge fan of it but I just grabbed a bike near the back and skipped all the "push ups." I noticed they have performance rides which might have been more up my alley but the times didn't align well for me. It's a good studio for when you need a quick workout. read more

The instructors are always awesome no matter which class you take. The classes really push you to the max and are all very high energy and exciting. It's a little on the pricey side but worth it. The Clovis location is my favorite because the front staff is much friendlier than at the Fresno location. I purchased credits previously but didn't go often enough to use them. I also didn't realize the credits expired and didn't transfer between locations. I should've read the fine print lol. Either way I still highly recommend trying it out. You won't regret it! I hadn't adopted a workout regimen for a while and wanted to get back on track. I tried out CycleBar after a recommendation from a friend, and I was not disappointed. After my first class I couldn't move my legs for about a week. The instructors are very encouraging and motivating and have great energy. I especially love going to Natalie and Victoria's classes. They really push you to your limits but don't make you feel inferior if you can't keep up. It's a full mind, body, and soul workout which I love! Highly recommend! read more

Beware of special promotions!! The OWNER of the business accused me of "working the system" regarding their special promotion of one month being at a set pricing and then after the 1st month it goes back to regular pricing. I was more than happy to continue the membership at first, but then after the unwelcoming experience I received at the fresno cycle bar location, I did not want to continue my membership. After trying to get clarification regarding how to resolve this issue, the owner practically yelled at me and hung up on me during this resolution. Sad way to do business as an owner and not professional. The facilities were good but the ownership along with their employees was very poor customer service. Highly recommend CycleBar. I recently moved from the Bay Area and attended Barry's Bootcamp, Flywheel, and SoulCycle. I have my own cycling shoes but you get loaner pairs here for free :) That is such a plus when the Bay Area classes set you back $30+. These classes definitely are a great workout. If you take a class with Gil, your booty will definitely feel it the next day as he pushes you to your max!!! I also like the Friday classes with Karina. I love CycleBar! It's been years since I've done a spin class and the receptionist in the front was more than happy to help me out. They recommend that you come a little early before the class starts so they can give you a little tour of the area, help clip you in, and set your bike up. Arielle was my instructor that night and her class was amazing! She was in high spirit and really kicked my butt during her work out. She also incorporated weights for upper body towards the end of the run. Overall this was a great experience and it feels great to get my motivation back. Will be coming back for sure! read more

I LOVE this place! As soon as you walk in you feel the positive energy. The front desk staff and instructors are always so nice and helpful. The bikes and the spin room are always soo clean! Ladies, if you forget your hair tie or need a Bobby pin before you start your ride, you don't have to worry because Cyclebar has little jars of them in the restroom :) My favorite instructors are Amanda, Natalie and Rachael. They motivate you during your ride and Amanda always gives such motivational/ encouraging statements! If you want a workout that pushes you, you have to take a class here. Cyclebar has been a pleasant addition to my workout routine. What I love most is how the process is so well organized. All the numbers coordinate with your bike - from your cubby to your locker. Your towel awaits you on your bike and if it's your first time they will give you a new water bottle. The workout itself is motivating and FUN. The amenities are great and there are a ton of details in the bathroom i.e., hair ties, blow dryer, lotions, hairspray, bags for your sweaty clothes, etc. If it's your first time, don't be nervous. It's addictive, humbling, motivating, inspiring and hard, but I love it. The music pounds as you ride to the beat.
