I recently tried StretchLab for the first time and absolutely LOVED it! I booked online through their website for a same-day appointment and then a member of their team called me to get a bit more info about my goals and provided me with additional info to prepare me for my first stretch session. I have not worked out or done much physical activity since I had a baby, so one of my goals is to increase my mobility and flexibility before just jumping back into exercise. She let me know that non-slip grippy socks are required which was good to know. They do have them available for purchase in store if you forget or need to get some. Upon arrival, I was kindly greeted and instructed to remove my shoes and get ready with my socks on. My flexologist was Mackenzie and she was wonderful. She walked me back to the stretch bench and began to explain the process and everything she was going to be doing. First, they have you take a quick Physmodo scan which involves doing some squats on a screen and it assesses your mobility, posture, activation, and symmetry. This tells the flexologist the areas that they need to focus on, and they customize each stretch session specifically to your needs. My scans revealed that I was especially tight in my hamstrings, neck, and hips. Then you lay down on the table and they begin to gently stretch your full body. Wow, it felt amazing and I didn't want it to end! It should never be painful and Mackenzie checked in with me often to make sure I was comfortable. It's almost like physical therapy. After my session, they provided me with more info on their memberships and pricing. While I really wanted to commit to a membership, I did have a bit of sticker shock. A single stretch session goes up to $115 each time or a membership is $299/month which includes 4 stretch sessions... basically one per week. I unfortunately just could not justify the cost, but I really did enjoy the experience. They have a $49 special for your first 50-minute intro session and it is 100% worth trying! read more

Stretching was okay, but definitely not worth the price. Maybe it's just me, but stretching should not cost the same as an actual massage. I'm not good at stretching by myself and there were some stretches that I desperately needed. Still, I didn't walk away feeling much better. read more

Wow... is the first thing that comes to mind! As soon as I walked into the lab the cool air and fresh aromatherapy scent whisks across your face and their friendly front desk girl, Aspen, greeted me and checked me all in! Ajay was my Stretchologist... and she rocked my world! With it being my first time we did a Physmodo MAP Screening which helps map areas that you need to focus on. Super cool! They also email you the report and your Stretchologist goes over the results with you! Masks were worn by everyone who entered including staff and prior to your session you and your Stretchologist hand sanitized! Ajay, went over what she would be doing and explained how the "stretch scale" worked and what we would be shooting for. She was incredible and even gave recommendations afterwards! All their Stretchologist have been certified and specially trained with a minimum of two years experience. After only a 25 minutes session I feel like I'm walking on the clouds with the amount of improved and increased blood flow I can feel! Many people under rate the benefits of stretching and to be honest most people, myself included, are to lazy to even want to do it after a workout. I get it! This is such a genius concept! Why not have someone else do the stretching for you?! Just like you receive the benefits from a massage this is the same thing if not better! In order to move in life you gotta be able to move around and in only 25minutes you can start reaping the benefits!! Whether you've had a long day of walking at the parks, push hard in the gym, or are looking to make sure you can function and walk around in life... I can't recommend this enough!!! I first tried them at a tennis event and could not believe the difference between my first and second set. They were able to totally loosen me up and i played like a beast the second set. Arissa was my flexologist, besides being skilled she is fun and we had a few good laughs. Went back to see her this past week for the 50 minute session and again, it works. You really can't get the same stretch on your own. The facility is clean and calming as well. For me it is more effective than massage. read more

This place is an answer to my prayers. As someone who struggles with flexibility and who has suffered with those consequences for many years it's nice to find a place that focuses on making this better. I never even knew stretching places existed until this past year and boy do I feel like everyone could use this in their life. The stretches they perform are things you can't necessarily do on your own and even though sometimes you might have to breathe through a stretch it really does "hurt so good." After my 50 minute trial session I could already tell a difference. My flexologist was Tesha and I love her already. Not only was she very skilled at her job but she was great company. I enjoy our talks and she worked hard to get to know me and my body on our very first visit. I can say that the sessions can be a bit pricey. They do run specials now and again so I would wait for those before making a package purchase. And don't forget you can get a special rate on your first intro sessions. Also, you have to wear special socks at your sessions and they sell some there but SAVE MONEY and get some on Amazon ahead of time. One pair for $17? Eek. Amazon sells packs of them for $10 ;) All in all I want to come back as much as I can afford. It seems super beneficial to me. read more

I have been going to StretchLab WOW for a little over 2 months now. My range of motion has noticeably increased quite a bit. My joints ached but not anymore. I want to increase my flexibility even more. I signed up for the initial 3 months and will definitely continue after. Lilly is the absolute best flexologist! People there are very friendly and encouraging. I look forward to my weekly stretch. It's almost like looking forward to that last piece of chocolate cake! I've been going to StretchLab Winter Park for almost a year and prior to joining, I struggled with leg weakness and flexibility issues. I am happy to report after 60 sessions, all those problems have resolved. The stretch therapists there are all friendly and professional. Really go out of their way to get you on the path towards wellness and healing. And Management here really goes above and beyond to accommodate the client. read more

I tried this place for a good 3 months. There are pros and cons to it, which is why I gave it 3 stars. The plus side is the stretch lab experience feels like a massage if done right. It can be very relaxing and I did find that my flexibility increased a little bit. However, there appears to be a bit of a turnover rate, so if you're stuck on one person giving you stretches, you may be out of luck when they leave for new endeavors. I'm sure everybody is well trained but it does take time to get reacquainted to a new individual and their style. Also, the price is a bit steep. I was told I need four 50 minute sessions a month, but I couldn't bring myself to pay for it as well as couldn't make the time for it, so I stuck with the four 25 minute sessions. Other con is you have to wear special socks for 'safety purposes'. I happened to have a pair because I took a barre class once, but if you forget to bring them, you'll be forced to purchase an expensive pair from the store or reschedule/ lose your credit. Here's a tip: I always kept my pair in my glove compartment. One day, I happened to oversleep after booking the 8am session (I put two 25 minutes together). The lady called, and I rushed over and got there by like 8:30 to get the 25 minutes in. I obviously didn't get the credit back because it was my fault that I overslept. I also didn't argue for the stretch lab to extend my time to 9:20 or anything like that because it was my mistake. However, I looked at my bank account the next day and happened to lose $20 because they also considered me a 'no-show' even though I did show up, just late. I understand if I argued for my 25 minute credit back, but I didn't. Therefore not only did I lose the money for the session but also got a penalty fee. Overall, if you can afford the prices easily and have the time to go to each session, you will be more flexible over time. I just didn't have the time or money to get the best out of it. read more

I will definitely say that my expectations are being met. I had a feeling I would have liked the concept of someone stretching me out to relieve my lower back issues. I can honestly say from the staff and especially Victoria who is the person I see, I cannot say enough how good she is and really knows where my body needs the stretching the most. She is extremely knowledgeable, great personality and loves what she does. I have also seen other people there as well and there also good. I feel much better and have seen and feel the results immensely. Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating which is very nice. I was skeptical when a friendv suggested I make an appointment. I had been feeling really tight in my hips and had tried massage and chiropractic therapy. After one 50 minute session with Jeff I felt like a new person. The next session he focused on my shoulders. I had no idea how tight and inflexible I was. I move better, feel better and ride my bike almost everyday without pain from my hips and shoulders. My flexologist Jeff is also wonderful. He talks you through everything he is doing and makes sure you feel comfortable. He is also a super nice guy and I enjoy our talks every session. read more
