Very unique gym set up! The gym was new and completely spotless. The gym is based of mini sauna rooms that have a virtual instruction leading you through the class. (Yoga, Pilates, rowing, biking, etc). If you sign up online someone reaches out to you to schedule your first class free. Staff was very nice and complementary waters were offered. You sweat like crazy!! And it's currently up to 2 people in a class at a time. Typically this will be you and anyone you bring. The young lady helping me mentioned it's you by yourself usually unless you bring someone.

    Hot rowing. 15 minute sessions.

Tristan and I checked out a new gym at lunch today, @hotworxorlandouniblvd. You basically sit in a box that's hot AF, sauna-like without the moisture with infrared heat, and workout. They have rowing (which is what we did), spin, yoga, pilates, abs, buns, and resistance bands "classes." Each box holds up to 3 people and the class is instructor led via video. They are either 15 or 30 min, depending on what exercise you choose. We did the rowing class and it was hard! Mostly hard because the machines are weird and it was hot AF and the instructor was annoying, but it was actually a really good workout. There's also some regular gym equipment in the back, along with vending machines with healthy snacks. It was a great workout and we're talking about joining. This weekend is their grand opening, so stop by and check them out, and take your free classes, if you can!

The 15 minute classes are more intense such as rowing and cycling and the longer classes are things like Barre, yoga and pilates.

So far so good! I…read morewas a bit bummed when I got an email saying my gym had been bought out, since I had never been to a Crunch before and had no idea what to expect. But to me honest, it couldn't be any worse, right? 24Hour was not in the best shape. The cable machines were always broken or didn't have carabiners to attach gear to, the seats were torn, the roof was leaking, and the bathrooms were usually down. I started going to the next closest Crunch and I was blown away. Not only working toilets but machines! Tons of machines! And in good condition! It gave me some hope for the former 24Hour location near UCF. Thus far, I am really stoked at all the positive changes. Crunch has brought in so many new machines that I'm confused on what some of them even do. I used to know exactly where to go and now it's a whole new world. Crunch also removed the basketball court to make even more space for specialized equipment. Honestly, there were always arguments in the court and it was not a good use of space. Keeping the gym open DURING a reno can be a bit chaotic as they are making space to lay new pieces of flooring or bring in new equipment, but the awesome new stuff outweighs the inconvenience. Speaking of inconvenience, I have to say I was bummed that Crunch really shortened the hours on weekends. I walked in at 650 and was told they would be closing in 10 minutes. Part of the appeal of 24Hour was well, that it was 24 hours. This means you have to be tactical with how you structure your weekends if you also plan on getting in a lift. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CRUNCH FITNESS! I never signed up for a membership with Crunch and I…read morestarted to get charged. I had so many issues cancelling and trying to get a refund over the past month for something I never authorized in the first place. I originally had a membership with 24 Hour Fitness and had a BOGO that should've been valid until December 2026. Apparently, Crunch Fitness bought out 24 Hour Fitness and I was NOT notified by either party. In December 2025, I got charged by Crunch Fitness and called them to find out why I was charged for something I didn't sign up for. They told me that they bought 24 Hour Fitness, but they would honor my BOGO if I come in and speak to a manager. On December 18, I called to find out if a manager was in so I could take care of that and I was told they would NOT honor my BOGO because they would lose money and transferred me to a monthly membership that I did NOT authorize. Again, I signed no paperwork with Crunch Fitness and they took my credit card information that I provided 24 Hour Fitness confidentially and started to charge me. Not to mention they had trouble finding a contract for me when I provided my phone number and name, yet had no issue finding my credit card information. I asked to cancel the membership and get a refund since I didn't authorize this. They stated I would need approval for it to be cancelled, but the paperwork was filed. I called every week and it was still waiting for approval to be cancelled. On January 2, I was charged for another month of membership. I called again and spoke to Victoria who said she escalated my case to someone named Marissa and that she would process my refund, but she just got back from vacation so give her a couple days to look through her emails. It's been over 2 weeks since then and still no refund, so I called. Now they stated my refund was denied back in December and there are no notes on my account regarding that. I asked to speak to Marissa and this so called "Manager" said he has no way to contact her even though Victoria, whom is a regular employee, had no problem sending her an email! Crunch Fitness has shady practices, everyone you speak to claims to be a manager, and they have no concern for their "members". I have never experience such unprofessionalism from a gym and I have been a member of both 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness. STAY AWAY FROM CRUNCH FITNESS!

Somedays I'm an early riser, some days I'm at noon and some days I'm in the evening. The good thing about that is I get to meet and get to know everyone who goes there. There are several things that I love about Ethos: 1) The people are amazing. No matter what class you go to everyone is friendly, encouraging and I can always find someone who pushes me to be better. 2) There's plenty of space and enough equipment. I can't think of a time where we did not have enough weights for everyone. There are some gyms that aren't well equipped and this isn't one of them. 3) The app to keep track of your workouts, your benchmarks for weightlifting, and your progress 4) The programming. The workouts are strategic to work your entire body while focusing on certain groups together. While some things may be out of your wheel house the coaches always have options for modifying a movement to make it easier or more challenging for you. 5) This is a great option for both cardio and getting stronger. 6) The coaching staff is very knowledgeable and know a lot more than just lifting weights. From diet and nutrition to proper stretching they are true experts in their fields. If you're looking for a gym where you can get faster, leaner, stronger and lose weight but also have a good time with great people than look no further.
