I needed to be in Carmel Indiana for 5-6 weeks for personal reasons, and decided to expand my membership to include passport. Raleigh management took care of that swiftly. And I started attending classes in the ZIonsville location daily. This review is about the efficiency of the membership expansion for two months by the Raleigh team as just noted above, and now the Zionsville team and my experience. I came home for 5 weeks to my hometown and the instructors in Zionsville made this hometown girl feel like a regular student in their club pilates. They didn't skip a beat. I cant say enough good things. The Zionsville team - the front desk, the manager and the instructors were all so warm, welcoming, and extremely well-skilled. The instructors were tough, disciplined and encouraging all at the same time. I was able to attend classes with as many as 6 instructors and they were all different making for a variable, high quality experience. I will call out Heather (Mgr/Instructor), Heather H, and Michelle. I got to know these instructors styles and repeated classes with them a lot. These instructors are honestly some of the best I have ever expereinced since I started Pilates 10 years ago in Washington DC. The strength I gained allowed me to get to nearly 80% of my pre-injury state in just 5 weeks. Environment - in my past experince, students attending pilates classes can be cliquey, and snobby at times. Not the ones in ZIonsville. They were all open, helpful and extremely welcoming. I have told all my local friends and family about this place. And now I am telling the readers of yelp. I recommend the Zionsville branch and think it is one of the best pilates location (in and out of the Club Pilates circuit) that I have ever attended. Truly. Go join if you are thinking about it or even if you never thought about it. they will change your life. A heart felt thank you, Zionsville Club Pilates Team! I am a huge fan of you all! You can't ever actually get into a class…read more I did the intro and purchased a package....over 3 months, I got into ONE class. I've done pilates before, but they make you do the pilates 1 before anything else, good luck, it's always waitlisted 3 to 7 people deep, weeks out, as are all the other classes, everyday. Definitely only pay by class, otherwise throw your money out the window while driving, & you'll get the same result, b/c as pictured in the photos, tomorrow for example...multiple people on the waitlist all day, for all classes but one, that starts at 730pm.

Many of my injuries have been traced to stiffness in my tendons and lack of flexibility. I researched options for increasing flexibility and avoiding injuries. People's testimonies about Pilates intrigued me. Being a guy, I wondered about it though but thought nothing ventured, nothing gained. Well, a month and a half into it, going twice a week has convinced me. I am able to touch my toes and then some. My lower back no longer feels tight and stiff every morning. (I used to dread getting out of bed. I immediately felt pressure in my lower back). An instructor shared her experience of being able to reach her car dome light natural her first month. At the time, I thought, how could someone move from joint pain to fluid movement that quickly. I was skeptical of how much it would help and how fast. However, I would have been happy to see any progress. Then, I experienced results that surprised me. Pilates makes me move joints and parts of the body that I rarely focus on in any routine. I can be fairly regular with a Jillian Michaels workout or my free weights on my own. But, without a class and instructor, I would not move and stay as focused in Pilates. With aging, stiffness has lead to injury and down time each year. I find Pilates to be an answer to staying on the court and enjoying life.
