Nice little location outside of Clemson. The customer service was very good. The place was small, but it works fine with the way they have it setup. By the time we left it was packed on a weekday. It must be a good local place. The pricing was favorable. The Benedict itself I'd label as ok. I'd come again, but would try something else.

Was visiting town and wanted breakfast food for lunch. Wow! They serve breakfast and lunch all day. The service was quick and friendly, the food delicious, and the price makes me think of driving back just to eat here again. Well worth it. Also, a quick note on their breakfast tacos. I'm a native Texan, breakfast tacos are my fav. So I've had them lots and lots of places. Never have I been given the option to include two meats at the base price and seen the tacos so stuffed with goodness. They do not skimp on the cheese, veggies, anything. Well done! Highly recommend!

OMG. I'm sure there are plenty of great places to get breakfast in Seneca, but why look further when there's Stricklands. My family was in town for vacation and ate here twice! Portions were large, service was friendly, food was good. The kids had pancakes and they were light and fluffy. I'm a corn beef hash lover and couldn't resist the Hash Royal on English muffin with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on top. These were soooooo good! They serve breakfast and lunch. The place is small, only 11 tables so place to get there or wait in busy days. Definitely put this place in your list.

I finally got a chance to stop in at Strickland's last week for lunch. I ordered the burger and fries. The fries were decent and the burger was prepared exactly as I had asked for it. The customer service was prompt and efficient. My only complaint was that the burger was very very pink throughout and I was not asked what temperature I would like the burger cooked. I didn't eat most of the burger as I don't care for mid rare or mid burgers. What I did eat of it was tasty, the fries were fresh. read more

Very clean when I walked in the door. Hand sanitizer at door. 50% capacity at present. 8 tables, seating 4-8. With that said, let's get to the menu. BREAKFAST & LUNCH SERVED ALL DAY. This is important, because we have picky eaters. Omelets, Burgers, etc. We ordered the Breakfast Tacos and a Cheeseburger w/egg. Three breakfast tacos were loaded with cheese, turkey sausage, tomato, peppers, and onions. Salsa on the side. More meat/toppings available. The burger was big. On a glazed brioche bun, dripping with Monterey Jack cheese and sautéed onions. Homemade cookies coming out of the oven. Peanut butter, Oatmeal, and Choc Chip. They also had the basic breakfast choices & then some. Cafe is nothing fancy, but the service was good and the staff was friendly. I gave them a 4 star, not based on venue. Cheerful atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. We stopped here for Sunday morning breakfast. 30 minute wait well worth it. Staff are friendly and kind. I watched them take time to care for someone who needed a meal and didn't have the means to pay and learned they have a benevolent fund and a first responder fund. Food was good home cooking. I just had the best pancakes I have ever eaten that weren't cooked by my husband. They were fluffy and cake-like, and just absolutely delicious. The bacon was yummy, too! I highly recommend this place. Mr. Strickland knew what he was doing in opening this place up. It is open for breakfast and lunch, I think they close around 3 PM. I have eaten both lunch and breakfast here, and because the menu is so diverse and so delicious, the only difficult thing is deciding which one to order, because everything I've eaten here was delicious. The huevos rancheros were great so we're the breakfast burritos. All of the sandwiches that I sampled made for a great lunch. One that stands out especially is the BLT. It's served on Texas style toast, and the amount of bacon....VERY ample! In addition to the food being done so professionally, the wait staff are all great personalities and they make you happy that you came. read more

We looked at the reviews and rating of Stricklands and they were higher than any other restaurants in the area. They were very attentive with filling your coffee cup. We had coffee on this visit and it was delicious. The barista was SO knowledgeable and very helpful with all of the drinks that we ordered. All of the coffees are pretty sugary/milky, but they were still delicious. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere! There are places inside to study and talk, but there is an outdoor porch with rocking chairs and a turf space with cornhole. It truly feels like you're relaxing in someone's backyard. Bonus points that it's walkable from the main strip in downtown, so it makes it easy to head to no matter where you're at in town. We were visiting from out of town, but would definitely return if we're in the area again.

On August 4, 2026, around 9:50-10:00 a.m., I attempted to place a phone order for a egg breakfast…read moreplate with a substitution of fries for the standard hash browns and a side of gravy(no drink). I tried ordering online, but the system would not accommodate my special request, so I called the restaurant. I had to dial three times before anyone answered. When a staff member finally picked up, I stated my order, but they did not acknowledge my order and last name was correct, and instead hung up in the middle of me speaking. when I arrived to pick up my order, I was quoted $21.22 for a single breakfast plate with no beverage. Upon receiving the food, I discovered they had prepared hash browns instead of the fries I had requested. After being awake for 36 hours for work and already frustrated by the earlier phone experience, I simply requested a refund. I have eaten at this restaurant many times and this was my first experience of this nature. unfortunately, customer service has shown a gradual decline in recent months. I hope management can address phone responsiveness, order accuracy, and overall consistency so visits can return to the standard previously enjoyed.

A cool angle on this place is that they not only serve a good breakfast and lunch but they also have a great dinner option that's a little different than most. They serve dinner, family style. Choose your meat and three sides and they deliver! And here's another economical tid bit... drink is also included! With different price tiers it's not only delicious but it's a great value as well.
