I don't ever feel the need to write online reviews, but this place deserves praise…read more I have just finished my first month at OTF and I have found a near addiction to this place. Upon entering, no matter what time of day my workout is, one of the employees greets me with a smile and addresses me by my name. Again, I've only been going a month and they are so good they all memorized my name after the first time I met them. The coaches always have positive words while in the workouts and challenges us to improve our performance every day. I have been going 4-5 times per week and have dropped roughly 12 pounds this month (this is obviously combined with a healthy diet). These workouts have produced as much, if not more, results for me in a month than I would in 6 months during my high school football days. I've always been an athlete, yet I don't think I've ever felt more athletic. If you're looking for a gym that treats its members like family, pushes you to your limits daily, and truly loves seeing results from its members, this is your place.

As someone who went from being a sedentary desk worker to actually working out let me give you a run down about who this is for. 1. This is for people who like a structured workout 2. The price is very reasonable when you think about it. From the Coaches, Machines, and the facilities it all gets factored in 3. No one is there to make you feel bad. There are people with all different body types trying to be healthier. 4. Get there on time, they have strict on time policies that you need to adhere to. 5. Don't be afraid to ask questions, the coaches are there for you. 6. Everyone knows each other, you will be like an outsider on your first session. Don't let that frighten you! Over time you will get to know everyone. 7. Please understand what the orange theory actually is. Many websites explain it very well so please look into it. You aren't going to get shredded just doing orange theory. 8. Overall orange theory is very worth it if you understand what you are getting yourself into.

From what I just read, I guess it sounds like this place is too expensive and it's about to go…read moreunder and the people who own it are rude

I have been a member here for a few months and I caution anyone from signing a contract here! This…read moreplace is going under and I'm guessing will be out of business soon. When I signed my contract, I was told that my $79/month membership would cover all classes offered and that classes were offered every morning and evening from 5:30-7:30, with additional classes at lunch. I was also told that membership could be canceled at any time with 30-day notice. Recently, membership here has been so poor that the owners decided to cancel over half of the classes. Now, instead of 10-15 classes a day, there are only five, and some of them have an up-charge of an extra $5. Due to this, I contacted the owners to ask about cancelling my membership and was told that they were forced to cancel these classes because of "members like me" who don't attend enough classes for their liking. (Mind you, I pay the same per month as any other member, and was never told that I needed to attend a certain number of classes a week.) They said they would only be willing to cancel my membership for a $400 charge. Honestly, $79/month is already way too expensive for what you get (only five classes per day, no locker room to change in, and a very old/dingy facility that I don't think they've cleaned the carpet in for years). So the fact that they want to charge me such a large fee for cancellation (when I was previously told there was no cancellation fee) is just ridiculous. Meanwhile, other places in town, like the new boxing gym, offer monthly memberships for only $59 with no contract, and they offer classes all day long (from 5am-8pm), have private training sessions available, have locker rooms, and they also have a full weight room/gym for anyone who just wants to come work out on their own. On top of all of that, their classes just aren't that fun. I was so excited to try out bungee fitness because of all the videos online I've seen of other people doing it, but at Jump N Jax, it's just the same workouts over and over and they don't do any of the fun things you see online. I also recently found out that they don't pay their trainers well at all, and they penalize their trainers when not enough people sign up for a class, which just really frustrates me because the trainers are by far the best part of this place! So overall, if you are considering a membership here, save yourself the money! It really isn't worth what you pay, the owners are dishonest and rude, and you can get WAY more bang for your buck elsewhere!
