I've been going here for a back injury and they've been pretty helpful in getting me back on track…read more I was having trouble sleeping when it started acting up, so I called them and was able to get in pretty quickly. After one session I was feeling much better and no longer losing sleep because of the injury. They've used a combination of massage, stretching, strengthening exercises, heat and TENS machines. Each patient is given a bed, with a curtain around it, where the massage and TENS machines are used. I also do stretches within that area, and it seems a bit small. Overall, I'm fairly satisfied, based on the other physiotherapists I've seen in the past. The only thing which Innovation doesn't do, which my previous therapists have done, is give me sheets that explain the exercises and stretches and number of reps to do for each. That would be a nice touch as I'm a bit forgetful at times!

Before I went in for my first visit, I called to inquire about their direct billing, and was told that both of my insurances were covered under it, and to bring them both. However, when I got there, I was then told that they would only direct bill for the primary insurance (which happened to be less coverage), and that I would have to go and do all the paperwork on my own to get my money for the secondary insurance. So I had no choice but to pay out of my own pocket for the majority of the bill, and now I am stuck trying to figure out on my own how to get the rest of my claim back. I am writing this review in case anyone is stuck in the same situation as myself, and choosing this practice because they claim to have full direct billing.

I had such a good experience from my visits that I continued going post pregnancy for my chronic back pain and knee pain, which also has been going well. Upon entering the clinic, you're seated in a cozy lounge stocked with a variety of snacks (granola bars, wagon wheels, chips, cookies) and a Keurig stocked with a various teas, coffee and hot chocolate. The treatment rooms are also cozy; they don't feel too clinical at all. The staff are fabulous; from the friendly folks working at the front desk to my treatment provider. I like the availability of treatment times and days and the fact that it's fairly easy to get in without too much advanced notice. I also like how you can book an appointment online or via text. They lost a star for never really running on time. Ample free parking in the lot outside. Free wifi available. Wifi password changes monthly; password is on the sign on the refreshment counter.
