I was here for a party. The manager was a bit rude especially considering the amount of people and business that was being brought in. The employees/bartenders were much friendlier but management isn't doing this place any favors. Food and drink prices are that of a Miami club and not that of a Hallandale Bowling Alley. $12 for a shot of vodka. $14-$16 for a Martini. I didn't mind paying but the drinks were weak and small. We ordered chicken quesadillas and after 50 minutes cheese quesadillas came- we didn't dare send them back. The concept is good but the execution is poor. read more

Where do i start? I have been coming here for years now, perfect to hang out with friends or go on a date. Open late till 2am with hookah lounge outside, pool tables, full bar and plenty of lanes to play bowling. The service and managment is the reason i go back so much and bring my friends who become instantly in love with Strike10. Its perfect for all ages young and old! They have an arcade at the front of the building perfect to wait for your lanes to clear up. And if you don't like bowling, they have a dj and enough room to dance till they close. If you happen to run into Moises (one of the managers) he will make sure your experience is above perfect! And also ask for Vlad, one of the servers i have know since the first days there and has always took care of me. From my experiences here i will always see my self coming back. My family took my nephew here for his 21st birthday and it was not a great experience. It was a Wednesday night and not busy. It took the bartender forever to serve us drinks and never checked on us. Didn't offer us menus or anything. The service while bowling wasn't much better. No one brought plates or silverware, dirty dishes sat until we asked for them to be cleared, and the manager excused the people vaping next to us. He says that they allow vaping at night. Meanwhile, there were kids everywhere. I thought vaping was not allowed indoors. We were a large party and they made us squish in one little booth when there were a few open lanes. The food was not very good either. The only decent thing was the flatbread. Everything else we ordered was gas station quality. The only nice thing I can say about the place is the bathrooms were very clean. We were looking forward to having fun because the place looked cool but it was very disappointing. Absolutely love this place. I have been wanting to check it out since they opened and I finally made my way over. Parking was super convenient. The place is sooo pretty and was very clean and welcoming. The staff was very attentive. We started off by playing some pool then moved on to bowling. We also had a few drinks from the bar. I felt that the drinks were a bit on the weak side and the prices were a bit high. I did complain about my drink to the bartender and I felt his attitude was a bit nonchalant . I ordered a different drink which I also felt was a bit weak. But for my third drink he gave me the alcohol separately from the chase and allowed me to mix it myself which I appreciated. While the drinks were a lil bit disappointing it wasn't a big deal. We tried some chips and gauc and wings. Both were very good. The music was very good. A great mix of genres. I get it, it's a bowling alley. It's also a bar where people are actively smoking tobacco. Therefore. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN. I really want to like the concept of this place. I like the concept of Dave and Buster's as well, but I have a review of that place as well, which shows my feelings on mixing gaming, children, and alcohol. This is not a substitute for a babysitter if you want a date night and can't get a sitter. There is a bowling alley with neon/strobe lights, etc off to the side and a DJ that makes this feel kind of club like. It's too adult for 7 year olds to be bowling, especially when we were there at midnight on a Friday. Add in the billiards, hookah, etc. and it just felt ODD. In addition people sitting outside with their hookahs deliberately will puff smoke at you because they can. WHAT? The first round of drinks we got here were cash paid, no big deal. Played a round of air hockey. Then we decided we wanted to shoot some pool. Ok, how do we play? Asked the bartender. She said you get the balls from her and the cues were on the wall. $20 an hour to rent the balls and prorated if we returned them earlier. Ok, no big deal. They needed a credit card on file to hold so we didn't run away with a bunch of billiard balls. Boyfriend and I decided to play for 30 minutes, no big deal. First of all there was no chalk. I can't shoot with no chalk. Secondly there were only racks for 15 ball, not 9. Weird, give me the option at least? Then when I turned in the balls after 32 minutes I was charged the full $20. REALLY. Mind you I was standing there waiting while the bartender ignored me for probably three of those 32 minutes. Then she asked me if there were 2 rounds of drinks on the tab in addition to the pool. Um, no-just the one, the first was paid cash and closed, don't try to double dip. Not cool at all. The $10 round of pool and drinks ended up being over $45. I really wanted to like this place, it just left a few bad tastes in my mouth. We had a good date, but there's definitely room for improvement on the part of the venue. I know that there's little I can do about people bringing their kids here but the bar staff was what really turned me off. Maybe in a good long while when I've forgotten about this I'll give it another shot. read more

I really liked this place. The chic interior, black lights, live DJ all made it very appealing. I never even knew Gulfstream Park had anything other than a race track! The only downside to this bowling alley were the prices. I came here with three other people. It ended up costing us about $80 to play for two hours. I've been to other bowling alleys ( bird bowl, splitsville) which were much cheaper. Our waiter and the staff were very accommodating though, as when our time was almost up, we were still in the middle of a game so they gave us extra time to finish. All in all, our waiter was very attentive, bringing drinks and food items directly out to us while we were bowling so we wouldn't have to step away from the game. For anyone who's been to Basement Miami, Strike 10 might look or even feeeeel similar. Scratch that. Strike 10 comes off as a generic and overpriced replica of the lounge experience at Basement Miami. Due to it's open layout, everything can be seen from any corner of the room--an obvious oversight in design that quickly erodes the novelty of the experience. While the crowd largely consists of a younger adolescent demographic, as the night grows older, so does the crowd. There's a bar, there's music (there's no DJ, but there's music), there are large couches to lounge on, and large flat panel displays everywhere. The food is strategically priced in order to encourage the upsell. For instance, you can pay $5 for a side-order of fries, or you can order a burger ($13-17) and get the fries as an included side item. Bowling costs $20 per person, which might suggest they aren't selling enough alcohol to keep the lanes open. (Which gives credence to the notion that this place attracts a younger age demographic.) If you're grown and sexy, you enjoy great music, and you're looking for a more authentic experience, leave the kids at home, skip this place, and go to Basement Miami instead. However, if you're not yet old enough to get into Basement, this place should be right up your alley. read more

The staff were helpful and bowling is mAde especially fun for kidsI since the decor and bar seemed more appealing to the parents we expected to eat some nice snacks w our beverathought the food would be better quality but sadly it is all processed packaged food tasting. If you're planning on coming here on the weekend, please make a reservation in advance. The wait time is foolish and this is not my first time here. We arrived around 9:45 and the front desk told us it was about a 2 1/2 hour wait (Yes you read that correctly) so we decided to put our name down and go to a near by restaurant to eat to pass time. When I was receiving my bill I got a text at 12:55am saying our lane was ready. By the time they were able to check us in and give us the shoes we only had 40 minutes to bowl because they closed at 2am. We made the most of it. I suggest drinking a few drinks before coming here because the drinks are overpriced for the little alcohol they give you. There's hookah only outside though. Wow! This place is amazing! I had been waiting a long time for it to open and it was worth the wait. The ambiance is super cool. There are giant TV's surrounding the entire bowling alley playing all sorts of videos and a life DJ taking request. This alone made my boling experience fun. My friends and I had a blast. The food was great too...from finger food to some of the best sushi I've ever had. Plus they also have a full bar as well! I will most certainly be back....it's a great place to bring a date! I LOVED this place!! I went last night with friends and we all had an amazing time! It is beautiful! Neon lights and great loud music. We bowled even danced a little it was pure FUN. The staff was SUPER nice! Very organized from the time we walked in, I really have no complaints. I actually expected it to be more expensive because its gulf-stream, and it LOOKS expensive (BEAUTIFUL) but it was a reasonable price. I think $21 a person. We had 5 drinks in total and the bill for the drinks was $52. At the end they were closing and the owner approached us and was really nice asking for our feedback and even wished me a happy birthday. This is my first time coming here and It's because of a family friends birthday party. Only the kids were playing so we had to pay for 6 people which is 20 dollars a person for an hour.After about 15 minutes we ordered 2 portions of fries which was a respectable price of 5 dollars a portion. We also ordered some drinks which were a reasonable price. The fries we had were lightly salted, crispy and tasted very good. The music was pretty good but the DJ wasn't at the booth at all while we were there. The place was very clean and the waiters were very friendly and brought us our food so we didn't have to draw attention away from the game.Another plus is that there's free wifi and it's pretty fast. We then proceeded to the back of the place where the arcade area was. The arcade games were pretty expensive while most of the games costed 1 dollar to play for one use and you need a lot of tickets to get something decent. read more

Strike 10 has something for everyone, and with a name like that, you'd assume it's a bowling alley. It's more of a lounge/bar with a handful of bowling lanes thrown in the mix, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good time. My date & I tried this place out on a Saturday evening. We got through 2 games and it didn't allow us to start a 3rd. Our hour was almost up so we didn't mind, but a heads up would've been nice. After bowling, we grabbed a table to continue drinking, order food, & play Jenga. The menu isn't extensive, but you have your options of typical bowling alley/bar food. They have pool tables, foosball tables, an air hockey table, board games, hookah, outdoor seating, and connected to an arcade. Definitely ideal for a date night with a twist or family time. The music was good too. Mostly hip hop & Top 40 stuff that everyone enjoyed listening to. I had to dock 2 stars for a couple things: Service: it was decent, but borderline overbearing. Our server must have had a stopwatch and stopped at our table every 3 minutes. He also had to hold onto my card because we finished bowling and grabbed a table. That was a little odd. Prices: $20/game per person on the weekend is ridiculous. Even $15 during the week is aggressive. This isn't a state of the art bowling facility. There are only about 10 lanes, so wait times can be upwards of 2 hours. Organization: while the place was clean for the most part, the Games section had cards, blocks, and pieces EVERYWHERE. I had to build Jenga before I could even take it to my table. I wouldn't even want to begin to look for all the Uno cards. I would definitely be back. Maybe skip on the bowling, and play a few rounds of pool or something. read more

My family and I went to strike 10 on Saturday, May 25th. It was mostly an outing for my nieces and nephews. (All between the ages of 3 to 6). Everything was great, the food, the drinks and bowling. Drink prices are a little steep. 1 shot of vodka was $13.00. The only thing that I did not enjoy was some of the music that was being played. I do recall seeing a DJ who is stationed near the bowling alley's. Some of the songs have very explicit lyrics that are absolutely not suitable for children and in my opinion was offensive to listen to as an adult. There were quite a few children there and the music was very loud. My sister spoke to one of the servers about the songs before we left. I would probably go back, but I would not bring small children with me. read more

This is not a classic bowling alley, which is what we were expecting when we made the special trip here. This is more a nightclub/lounge with bowling on the side. With only 10 lanes, the waiting can be tremendous and everyone is encouraged to utilize the bar and minimal food services while they wait. The seating is super cramped, not particularly comfortable and not conducive to people getting up and down to bowl without tripping all over each other. You also better like who you bowl next to as you are facing them and sharing a table. Cost - good cost for a club but not for bowling. This is DOUBLE what you pay at most other real bowling places and they force you to use their shoes. I don't care how upscale his place is, rented shoes are gross. And if I have bowling shoes of my own, I should be allowed to use them. It took threatening to leave before a manager allowed the use of shoes. The single star rating is for this place being a bowling alley, which it just isn't. It is not better than the crazy bowling alley at Boomers... But then they didn't market themselves as a bowling alley. This is a lounge/club. If you are a bowler, this is not the place for you. read more

We went here for a date night on a wed around 10pm. It was not crowded and there was no wait time for a lane. The shoes were very clean and the bowling alley itself was very clean. The decor is nice and the music is enjoyable. We did not order any food so I can not comment on the tast of the food but the people next to us seem to be enjoying their food. We did order a couple of mojitos which had a nice amount of liquor in them. I was buzzed after my first one. One thing I did enjoy was the waiter service. I like the fact you have a waiter that comes to you while you are bowliing to take your drink and food order. They even have 2 lanes dedicated for kids. It looks like a little vip section with couches tables.There is also an arcade to the left when you walk in. I did not go inside the arcade so I can not comment about that.
