These can he purchased online or at many retailers. You can get one any place you can get a hunting or fishing license. $5.00 for a single day pass or $24.00 for the year. I recommend the yearly pass. Plenty of free parking. You must bring your own targets. They provide backs to attach targets to an place in ground in front of back stop. The riverside range and pro armament are not affiliated with each other. While they share the same…read morefacility, they are two separate businesses. To get to the range simply walk into pro armament and the range entrance is in the back left corner. An employee of the range/range officer is not always present to be sure to call ahead of time to set up a membership. If you are a member, you get access to the range even when no range officer is present. The range is 25 meters, pistol and rifles (up to a certain caliber) are allowed but shotguns are not, members and their guests are only allowed to take up one lane, there are 7 lanes so if you go during busy hours you may have a wait. Why 4/5 stars? It's a smaller facility with only 7 lanes. It's an excellent 5/5 if you are looking for a place to be minutes from your home where you just need to get your fix in for an hour and take off. It's not a good range if you want to practice drawing from the hip, rapid fire, movements and more. It receives 4 stars because the range makes the most out of the space they have. The lanes and facility are very well put together.

This class was not intimidating like others I have taken, but all classes are worth taking. Shooting areas are all over the 66 areas and more are being built. This public range, where you can walk in or call about classes, has a pistol range and competition bays. Shotgun sports offered are skeet, trap, clays and five stand. Classes include CCW, self defense, holstering, basic rifle, family safety, church security training, defensive mindset and emergency, and force on force. You can purchase a membership for shotgun OR pistol and rifle, and get discounts. The range is located off Rt. 528 south of Thompson. There is a big sign. Check out their YouTube videos and Facebook page for updates. Hungry before or afterward? Stockers on the Thompson Circle has very good food.
