When I drove my car with the spare tire to Alpine, I was desperate and out in the middle of nowhere & all auto shops are closed. Headed into the gas station & Sharon was so nice to call the owner of Auto Glass Alpine on the other side of the street for me. Eventually the owner, Vance, from the auto shop came in and helped me put on a tire that I could rely on & drive back home. It's a 500ish miles away and the doughnut would not make it that far away. I'm so thankful for all helps the people here offered me. PS - Because I was in such bad luck, bought a lottery scratch and killed the time waiting Vance.

If your like me and you work…read morenight shift and left Houston late instead of on time, your going to come across this gas station at midnight and its going to be the only thing in the area that's open that you can get snacks and use the bathroom at the same time as refueling your car and missing the Houston area gas prices. While you may want good customer service, at the end of the day this is just a pit stop type town and your just one of many people that they will serve all day. It's not like your going to be a regular here unless you travel often or stay out here for a project. My advice is to either get here earlier in the day where theres fresh food options and the town is actually open or just deal with what you get at night.
