So we've passed by here a few times and we just missed it before closing time so on this last adventure we made sure we would make it and let me say I'm stoked we did! They have a grocery side of the store that has a ton of canned and jar goodies along with some super random stuff like that blooming onion kit I bought which I couldn't be more stoked to use sooner than later! Then comes the meat area where you can find a ton of seasonings, sauces, and the meat where they have mostly pork products but also a decent selection of other meat as well! So we bought some sausage patty's, some ground jalapeno cheddar sausage, and some of the snack sticks to enjoy on the ride home and I must say the sticks were super yummy my favorite being the garlic Parmesan one but the real kicker here is that ground sausage that is definitely some of the best sausage I've ever had it's packed with flavor and just hit the spot! We without a doubt will be back here again in to pickup what's totally yummy next time I just know to make more freezer space at home because they have just too much good stuff to pass up!

It makes for a good pit stop for travelers on the Florida-Georgia Parkway although I suspect they do a killer business with the folks drawn to the recreation opportunities on Lake Blackshear and at Georgia Veterans State Park. We travelers are just icing on the cake. The current location is a new building they built and moved to a few years ago. On the south side of Warwick you can see the original wood frame store building still hanging in. Their second location is now occupied by another business trying to imitate them and get some of their business. I am just fine with continuing to stop at Stripling's.

We noticed a car's hood was smoking because the employees came out to help the woman signaling to cut off her car. I am pretty sure their shift just ended because they all seemed to be closing for the night and multiple employees walked out of the building. The lady parked her car at Waffle House and they walked over to help. Their interaction with the customer was a breath of fresh air. One of the employees gave her a ride. It was such a kind and caring interaction and the world needs more people like them! We will definitely be trying them out in the future based on this kind interaction outside of their workplace.

In particular, I wanted to buy some oxtail! I called The Butcher Shop to see if they had any and the guy who answered the phone was so kind and patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions. They do sell oxtail for $16.99/lb. I arrived to the store and to my surprise, they have beef bacon! I LOVE BEEF BACON. It's so hard to find it now a days, but when I do find it I definitely treat myself! I can't wait to cook it for breakfast tomorrow. Highly recommend The Butcher Shop and I'll be back soon!

One of our favorites is the seasoned fajita meat - steak and/or chicken. My husband grills it on an outdoor griddle then we wrap it in tortilla wraps for an out-of-this-world delicious (and very simple) meal. Quick and easy at its best! We highly recommend this new butcher shop! Just got home with a super thick Rib Eye steak, some super thick pork chops (all cut to order) for the grill. Yum!
