Today my daughter (who is 7) called me having a panic attack after leaving aerial arts early. I work during the week so her grandmother brings her. While in class today, the kids were running to get on slings and my daughter got to a sling before another little girl, who then started crying. The red headed teacher (I can never remember her name), yelled at the little girl to not cry and go sit with her grandmother if she was going to keep crying. Awful, that should've never happened, but then my daughter went to go console the girl because she has a huge heart and she's been raised to care about others. At this point the teacher BELLOWS at my daughter "(name) YOU AREN'T HELPING, GO BACK TO YOUR SPOT". My daughter has pretty severe ADHD (which aerial arts was helping with) and anxiety from issues that happened with a very mean teacher in kindergarten. When she was yelled at, my daughter went and hid behind the sling and started tearing up. My mom then asked if she wanted to go home and she said yes. After she put her in the car with her great grandmother my mom went back in to speak to the teacher. My mom walked onto the floor and said "maam" to get her attention. She continued with "you do not have the right to speak to any child like that. The worst thing you can do as a teacher is yell at a child. That was uncalled for." Do which the teacher replied "yeah, well she's ALOT" (speaking about my daughter, who we have spoken a lot to this particular teacher about her ADHD issues and my daughter had been doing so much better staying on task and really trying to learn) and my mom said "she's a lot? Well so what that. Completely out of line" and left. After my daughter called me while I was working, HYPERVENTILATING, and crying trying to tell me what happened. I am taking my daughter out of axis. I am SO happy I found an aerial arts school closer to where we live that is beginning children's classes. I was going to leave her in axis until those classes started but I refuse to subject my child to a teacher who shouldn't even be around children. It's very apparent she has no control over her temper and she has an ego the size of a yacht. I had seen glimpses of this lack of emotional control from her in the past when I was bringing her, but it wasn't to this extent so I just assumed she was having a rough day. But to let your temper get to that level while teaching small children is DISGUSTING. She should be pulled from the position immediately. Please, don't send your children here. There are two other FANTASTIC aerial arts schools in the woodlands and Conroe. She can not go on being allowed to teach children. If you care about your child's emotional well-being, you won't bring them here.

The studio is so adorable and clean. I love that I'm able to shower after the class so that I can go straight to work. The only thing I would change is the amount of poles they have for your party. I had a party of 10 and I think there were only 4 or 5 poles in the room so we had to keep rotating people on the pole. I'm so proud to call myself a member of this studio. With a ton of different classes, approaches, instructors, etc. there is definitely something for everyone here. People end up getting so close with one another here that people come for their birthdays, everyone knows, and we celebrate them!! With that being said, I do have 1 wish for the future. I hope that the studio starts to hold Friday evening classes. As someone who doesn't go out I would love to spend my Friday evenings doing pole.

I was looking online for Zumba classes when I found Revolve Pole studio.. I had been interested…read morein pole dancing classes ever since seeing it on the Oprah Winfrey show, I think it was called the X factor. I started to take the Intro to Pole before Hurricane Harvey hit Houston. I was able to complete 4 of the 8 weeks. Then life became all about finding another vehicle, keep up with my (new) home health job, and live in a house while it was being repaired from 3-4 ft of water sitting in it for 3 days. For nine years I have wanted to return to studio. That's how good they are. I still remember many of the things I learned during those short four classes. I eventually bought my own pole for home use and got to the point where I was able to do the fireman's spin. I guess my point is, for nine years, I have not forgotten this place or the ladieswho started it as one of them was our instructor.(Jasmine?) They were so inspiring and made me feel very comfortable which is difficult because I'm a large woman. Even when I was height/weight proportionate I was a large Girl, annd am even larger girl now after going through menopause. I can't think of any better place to receive the motivation and inspiration that women need, to relearn the "sexy" that so many of us loose sight of due to the daily grind, And get back that confidence that somehow comes with this type of work out. No gym membership can do that!

Innovative Fitness was chosen by my country club to organize and institute a fitness program there,…read moreinvolving group exercise classes of all varieties and individual work-outs. They have done an outstanding job. My personal favorite however is the yoga. We have been provided with yoga instructors that are experienced and knowledgeable in leading classes in which most of the participants are older and not as nimble as they once were. They help us with modifications and are very aware of each student's special needs, offering input and information to help make it a better practice, but always challenging us. Each person is comfortably able to go at his or her own pace. The instructors seem to love the class as much as we do. Since starting yoga there 9 months ago, I rarely miss a class because it has helped me so much to be more functional. I am stronger and my balance is improved. I feel more fit than before even though I was a dedicated exerciser before I started. The class has gained a following and is growing larger all the time because it is truly a great experience. My most recent class was with the owner, Trevor, who was teaching for one of his instructors and I was surprised that an owner of such a facility was also an accredited yoga teacher. Once again, it was a great class in step with his other instructors. There are always scheduling issues with any class, but one can be assured that if you have a substitute while doing classes with Innovative, it will be a really good class. I don't want to overuse adjectives here, but I love these classes, they are truly wonderful experiences and make me feel so much better. Anjulena is amazing! We worked with her for our first dance, and not only was it fun, but it also…read moreended up being fantastic. Our guests loved it/ were blown away by our dance, and we loved performing it and learning it. Wedding prep can get stressful, and learning the dance and going to class was a stress reliever and a ton of fun. I have never done ballroom dancing before (my now wife had a long time ago ), but Anjulena was a fantastic teacher and could teach us and get us performance ready for the wedding! She choreographed the dance for us based on what we wanted, and it felt awesome to have someone who could make this dance into something we wanted. We told her what we wanted as the dance developed, and she could add in moves and make modifications to meet our needs. She is also super kind and even came to our wedding rehearsal to help us practice our dance and to make sure we were oriented correctly and comfortable to do our dance at the venue (for both plan A and the rain plan). Overall, I highly recommend working with Anjulena. If you have a first dance for a wedding, she's your person. She helped us create a memorable moment we will cherish forever (I have watched a recording of our dance a friend got for us so many times already!) and a dance that wowed our guests (everyone said it was the best first dance they have seen!). We were really happy on how well our wedding dance went. When we first came, we didn't know anything about dancing. We were pretty stiff at first, but after a few lessons, we were moving a lot more elogantly. It's a lot of fun and it gets even more fun along the way because you start putting the puzzle pieces together. Anjulena has been a professional dancer for much of her career so she knows a lot. She is very personable and has a lot of experience teaching. I highly recommend her as a dance instructor for any occasion. We plan on coming back to learn other styles of dancing.
