As I write this review, it's been about 4 months of regular visits and at home exercises and I am feeling so much better. The office is located in a building on 15th street between Walnut and Locust. It is relatively easy to find and there is a friendly staff at the building reception area to direct you to Vitality on the 6th floor. My favorite part about Vitality is the lovely team. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I have sincerely looked forward to PT visits in a way that I did not previously think was possible! The office is always kept very clean. I will definitely be returning to Vitality for all of my future physical therapy related needs.

From day one, she was incredibly thorough, creating a plan tailored specifically to my goals: lifting my daughter again and returning to weight training. What sets Stephanie apart is her attentiveness. Even when the clinic was busy, she never missed a beat with my form or posture. She wouldn't let me 'coast' or do things halfway - which was frustrating at times when I was tired, but I realized she was just more committed to my recovery than I was in those moments! In fact, when I found out three months into my treatment that she was moving from the Passyunk location to the Art Museum clinic, I didn't hesitate to follow her there. She was just too good to lose. After five months of twice-weekly sessions and home exercises, I have 100% mobility back. I'm back in the gym now, and I've carried her emphasis on form into my own weight training. Nick was my main therapist and absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, considerate, honest, and obviously skilled at what he does! I appreciate how everyone at this location treats the clients/patients like real human beings and roots for us ever step of the way (whatever those steps look like!) The facility is in an elevator building down a long hallways and ADA accessible. It's clean and feels like an ordinary PT office. I felt comfortable moving around in it and with it being further away from other offices we were never bothered/distracted by any activity in the large building. The windows have a nice view of the city sky! I'm really glad I was able to receive treatment here. Admittedly when I was discharged I was kind of sad! PT is hard work but my visits to Ivy Rehab felt like a positive part of my routine. I even mused asking if they do personal training outside of PT but thought that might be rude lol. Strive is a large organization and I can't speak for their other offices, but the Washington Square location is the best PT office I've ever been to. And shout out to the receptionist, Sammy, who is always kind and patient on the phone and great to talk to in the office.

I went to this practice today for a follow up procedure from a previous doctor. I was scheduled with Dr. Sonya Lee. I arrived, checked in, and filled out paperwork, then was taken back to undress and wait for the doctor to come in. When she arrived, my first impression was certainly not a warm and fuzzy one. She was unfriendly, abrupt, and even seemed annoyed or inconvenienced when I was explaining my medical history and current concerns. It was uncomfortable, but I figured not everyone is naturally welcoming or comforting. It was what ensued during and after my in office procedure that assured me this was much worse than poor bedside manor. As we began my procedure, I mentioned to Dr. Lee that I wasn't good with GYN "stuff" as in very sensitive to pain and/or discomfort in that area. This was just a heads up in hopes that she would have some empathy and maybe take things a little slower or with extra care, and her response was "well yea this isn't fun for me either". Great. So my sense of her being annoyed or inconvenienced at the beginning of my appointment was confirmed. She proceeded on with the procedure which was just flat out rough and fast - beyond unpleasant. I asked her at some point if it was almost done and she said it would be. The last few seconds were the worst, it was as if she was purposely being erratic! Zero concern or consideration for me, my body, or my sensitivities. Once she was done, I mentioned that the procedure was done a little fast and roughly. She was clearly offended and said she didn't know what to tell me and wasn't sure how they do it at other places, but that's how they do it at GSP. Then she says "well I guess I'll text you with the results". Her attitude about it was horrible, dismissive, and cold. I'm sitting there half clothed and the person who's care I'm in has treated me like trash. I couldn't believe what I was experiencing. I expressed to her that I was a little uncomfortable at that point and her response was "yea me too". She then proceeded to go to the computer to take notes while I was sitting there in a very vulnerable position, unable to get up or move. I asked her if I could have please have the room to get dressed and she got up, walked out, and slammed the door behind her. As soon as that door shut I was in tears. I could not believe the treatment that I had just received. I have never in my life experienced something like this. Sure, a medical degree is great for practicing medicine, but so is care, empathy, compassion, a good bedside manor, and a general respect and consideration for others - things Dr. Lee is clearly severely lacking. I will never step foot into the offices of Gynecology Specialists of Philadelphia again and I urge others to consider my situation before they do. There are so many wonderful doctors out there, terrible experiences like mine should just never have to happen. Glad I know now! Looking forward to seeing a new doctor in the future. **Update** Ironically, but not surprisingly, recently received this letter in the mail from GSP stating that I am being let go as a patient for being "rude and disrespectful to the staff." Hard to do anything but laugh at this. First, for the fact that this is what I get in response to leaving a completely honest review of a horrid experience I had - no apology or accountability from this doctor, of course - which is right in line with my experience. And secondly, the fact that they ever thought I was stepping foot back in that office again! Ha. No thanks, a thousand times. I was nothing but pleasant with everyone in that office, including Dr. Lee who was in fact, extremely rude and unprofessional to me. God, they are worse off than I initially thought! Beware.

She made the whole process of checking in, & taking my vitals dare I say enjoyable. She made my whole day with her positive energy. (Wish I would've gotten her name).
