I have visited this location several times over the past few years, and the experience has been pretty consistent: mostly good interactions with the medical providers, and mostly frustrating interactions with the rude and unprofessional front desk staff. The woman at the front desk during my last two visits (a heavyset Black woman, medium brown complexion, with long hair) acted like my presence was an inconvenience, even when I arrived early for an appointment (which it took 15 minutes for her to check me in for). She also started playing loud music at her desk, and she even held conversations with patients on speaker phone (sorry, Mary Ross, but we all heard your convo with the Vybe front desk receptionist). I would try another location, but online reviews note similar issues at other Vybes. I wish Penn's urgent care was still open. I'll probably try Jefferson's urgent care next time. read more

Not sure if there was a management or staff change, but Vybe is not a vibe. The receptionist is not professional in their attire or attitude; they now will not allow you to come back with the patient, and my parent relayed that they didn't do anything or inquire about symptoms...just go to the emergency room. It was like they just wanted you back there to say you were there so they could bill. If you have an opportunity, suggest going somewhere else. read more

Pros: easy to book, fairly easy parking on the nearby blocks (as it's south Philly). Cons: website indicates that this site has xray. Have a sprained ankle or a busted wrist/knee/elbow? Too bad, you'll later find out - there is an xray technician only certain days of the week. Guess Friday isn't one of those days. Finally - website requests to have a credit card on file as soon as you book. Better hope they don't actually use it if they file insurance claim incorrectly, or that if the system is hacked, your card information is too. read more

This was my first time here, and the team was great. I walked in without an appointment, signed in, and only waited like 10 minutes. Once i got into a room the Nurse checked me out quickly and was super friendly. Dr. Patel came within 10 minutes of me being in the room and was very professional and listened to my concerns. I've had good experiences with this place in the past for simple things like COVID tests and a skin issue. However, during my recent visit, my experience was disappointing. When we arrived, there was no line, and the receptionist asked us to take a seat and said they would call us back. Instead, the receptionist took a FaceTime call that lasted about 10 minutes before calling me up to use the iPad for check-in. I'm not sure why we couldn't have just checked in on the iPad when we first arrived. I was with a friend who was clearly sick, so it felt both confusing and irresponsible to wait to check in. After checking in, I sat my friend in the waiting area closest to the exam rooms because the TV was very loud in the larger waiting area. Some staff members were watching us, and it felt like they were making fun of my friend, which only added to our discomfort. My friend was clearly having a hard time, and feeling unwelcome didn't help. In the end, they sent us to the ER, where we waited three hours before being seen. I had a medical issue that wasn't life threatening obvs but definitely need some medical attention. the location was close to my house and there's a little parking lot next door. I was able to get an appointment pretty fast also. I didn't have to wait very long when i went. OK so for my visit, i won't say what it was for BUT it was embarrassing AF for me. the staff was so nice and didn't make me feel like I should be embarrassed or make me feel uncomfortable. the one assistant was sooo sweet and made me feel so comfortable. the doctor that saw me was also very nice and accommodating. he listened to me and prescribed me meds that helped. I will be forever grateful for them for seeing me. I definitely recommend this urgent care if you need medical attention! read more

Refused oral antibiotic fir infected tooth and what looked to me to be infected knee from wound from fall. Wow 2 to 3 hour wait for my daughter to see a doctor and we left before we were even seen. None of the kids ahead of us were ever taken back. Completely unacceptable. Never go to this "urgent" care a health care provider that cares so little about their patients shouldn't stay in business. I got a call from one of their marketing guys, sticking to the script, that they are patient focused blah blah blah, just because they say it doesn't make it so. I told him they need more staff he said they are staffed so I said that we should accept waiting 3 or more hours to be seen, give me a break. So since they won't fix their problems we'll have to do it for them. Don't go there let them go out of business and maybe they'll be replaced by someone who can actually do the job. read more

I have been here many times and have had consistently good experiences. The nurses are so wonderful. I dragged myself in on Wed night after an awful day of working and being sick. I've been sick since Saturday and was feeling much worse. The doctor was cold and condescending. I felt zero warmth or compassion from her, but instead judged. She said, you've only seen sick 3 days, what are you worried about?" Her tone was not kind during the entire visit and she made me feel dumb for coming in. Short blond doctor, appears to be pregnant. Zero stars. Read on their website that they perform same day Covid PCR tests. Scheduled an appointment through their website. When I went in for my scheduled time, I was informed that they did not have the same day test at that location and that I could only get the test that takes 2-5 days and costs DOUBLE the amount. Receptionist could not have been ruder and told me it clearly says that on their website. NOWHERE on the website and their scheduling platform does it say this. I made an appointment and showed up. After explaining to the staff the reason for my visit, was informed t9 go to the emergency room. In arriving I seemed to interrupt the staff about their lunch ordering. After being informed to go to the ER. without missing a beat went back to that conversation as I felt I was an annoyance to that. I was never seen and my situation one at the emergency room required emergency surgery. But no one either bothered to check my vitals, status, anything. Being a paramedic for over 25 yrs. This was shoddy, negligent. In their haste getting mee out and upon their advice, if thought so serious, no ambulance called by them. I guess patient care is second to who has the best pizza. Most of the staff is very professional, but one doctor gave such a bad experience that it brings the whole place down(I believe his name was Jay) my girlfriend was distressed at the results of a test, and rather than giving console, he made jokes and made her extremely uncomfortable, despite being asked multiple times to stop. I had the doctor Jay and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He did not consider my feelings and made me want to leave immediately. He said all the wrong things in a time of needed counsel and it felt horrible. It wasn't the diagnosis that made me not like vybe, it was purely the way he spoke to me and did not consider my feelings. I will never be coming to vybe again and not recommend it to anyone. This review is for COVID-19 testing only. We visited the day before Thanksgiving after a potential exposure. Most places required doctor's referrals or had appointment times weeks out, but Vybe had one 6:40 PM slot available for a "telemedicine" appointment and we took it. The nurse called at 6:40 PM sharp, helped us through the standard registration and pre-appointment procedures, and in less than ten minutes, we were on and off the phone with a doctor who prescribed us the test and instructed us to get to Vybe as soon as we could before they stopped doing swab tests at 7:15. A short five minute drive and an even shorter 2-3 minute test and we were out the door. Testing was done through Quest, so it did take a while for results (7 days), but our experience overall with Vybe was smooth and efficient. Staff is very friendly, as well. I would never recommend this place. I did a telemed last Friday. First, I waited way past the time for it to start. He seemed to be annoyed he had to take the call. Meanwhile, I presented with major symptoms of a sinus infection. The doctor already had his mind made up that I had CoVid. That's all he talked about. He told me all I needed was Flonase and Advil. Oh yea and get tested. Needless to say, my symptoms got worse with a headache and pain across my face and swelling of my right eye. I was able to get out and go to another Urgent Care on Sunday morning. They triaged me, asked a few questions and were pretty sure it was a sinus infection. The doctor confirmed it, calling it pansinusitis and gave me antibiotic for 10 days. By Tuesday I felt like a new person. Consequently, I will never use this place again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone else. read more

I am a physician and have never had such horrible evaluation. My BR and pulse were very high. Pus was coming out of my right eye and it went unnoticed. I am 81 yo with a chronic pulmonary disease. No one there has any kind of diagnosis. All they told me was to go to an ER. I came home and did a Covid test. The physician never came to see. You have a horrible facility there. I will also notify my insurance. The only person with any knowledge was the receptionist. read more

An absolute disgrace Went in for Chest pains and panic/anxiety. She asked me about my current medications and said she can give me a paper about breathing techniques. Left with that. These people aren't qualified to butter corn at the county fair. I thought this would be less awful than going to the ER. I was wrong. I went in with a cluster headache (a rare and absurdly painful condition. It's been 16 days. Google it ). These can be aborted by oxygen in a specific concentration (12-40 liters per minute for 20 minutes). After pretending that the laughably incompetent staff were 'medical professionals' - the person who took my vitals didn't know what prednisone was, and it took three adults to figure out how to turn on the O2 tank... the snotty PA told me she'd "worked in a neurologist's office" (doing what? Cleaning the place at night?). I'd also like to point out that I was requesting OXYGEN. Not narcotics. Or anything even remotely objectionable. When I finally got the O2 approved (and three staff came to figure out how to turn it on) I was TOLD the rate was 12 liters per minute (lpm) - the minimum concentration effective. It turns out it was 8 lpm. Which no studies indicate is effective. I called ahead to ask if it was possible to get abortive O2 for this at this location. I was put on hold and everything, and I was told yes. So: idiots, incompetent- also condescending, especially since they were not versed in my condition- AND THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT THE "CARE" I was given. Really??!? Avoid. read more

I received a covid test in October after not feeling well. Jump ahead 6 months and I receive a bill for $91.26. I attempted to inquire with Vybe as I have (good) insurance. "Due to high volume" they are only accepting inquiries over email. I attempted this and did not receive a response. When checking with my insurance, they say that the way that it was billed was wrong. So, now it looks like I am on the hook for a basic office that have always been covered previously. read more

Our family has used Vybe several times. Each time they've been quick, the doctors have been knowledgeable and caring, and some rotate from the larger hospitals like CHOP and Penn. We brought our toddler today and the staff was all very accommodating. The facility is new, clean, and bright. A plus, they have onsite parking. read more

You are required to see a doctor while a rapid test does not require to see a doctor. These are the stories I was told today . Then after being there an hour and I said why is everyone going in front of me. My name was on the top of the list and others were able to go in front of me. Some aid came in annoyed that I was annoyed began to yell at me. Telling me some lies and they were lies that the person in front of me had covid and had to push him in front of the line. I heard the whole story when the man checked in and he came in for a test to get on a plane. Bad service, lying to patient and terrible working procedures. I came in with stomach issues that had been on and off for a few weeks. Told them I thought it was a parasite and that I'd recently been to Mexico. They said it probably wasn't, then told me they didn't know what was wrong with me. I kept feeling horrible and throwing up after I left. Finally I went to another urgent care center who confirmed that it was giardiasis (a parasite that i picked up in Mexico). I cannot believe how lazy and incompetent Vybe is. I even told them what I thought it was and they just ignored me. They said it wasn't possibly a parasite (clearly with 0 knowledge about how a parasite acts in the system). Walked in at 4:05 on a Saturday, got diagnosed with walking pneumonia with my prescription and out the door by 4:45pm. Staff was nice and caring as could be. They sent my Rx to CVS right down the street and I was able to pick it up immediately when I was sure it couldn't all be done by 5. Great place! read more

I went here with a very painful but routine condition (severe strep throat) because I thought it would be faster than waiting to see my normal doctor-- big mistake! The person swabbing my throat seemed unsure how to do that, and even seemed to be asking me how to do it. When a test that was supposed to take 2-3 days didn't come in on time, I spent a week (when I was still in severe pain) chasing down my results with various people who refused to give me a straight answer. Eventually they told me the sample just disappeared. I wound up seeing my doctor anyway, and she took care of everything in an hour. An issue that should've taken a few days to fix ended up involving a lot of pain and frustration because the people there just don't know how to do their jobs and can't admit when they've made a mistake. I am so thankful I found this urgent care while I was on vacation in Philadelphia! I went it for symptoms of a UTI and if you have ever had one, they are miserable! I went and didn't have to wait long, facility was extremely clean and the doctor Neha Mody was so nice, I told her I was on vacation and she offered little tips and places to visit while I was there. The nurses and front staff were friendly as well and I told them I wish we had friendly people at urgent cares in California. read more
