My girlfriend lives in Roseville and was thinking of joining there collaborative as she is an artist and is interested in fining a community to be a part of. From what I saw they show art work of local artists as part of the collaborative and in turn those artists volunteer their time to man the front desk and to assist at their events. It sounds like a nice set up to become involved without paying a lot of money to show your artwork in a gallery. I'm not part of it so don't quote me. Saturday, January 17th Event was: By Hand - An International Craft Nouveau Competition. We saw Crafts from all over the United States. We attended their opening reception. The show was juried by Harriete Estel Berman who picked 1-4th place and announced them while we were there. We got to mingle with the artists, enjoy some bites by Randy Peters, and listen to some wonderful live music. The art work was fabulous. My favorite was the handcrafted necklaces out of extremely light metal. I loved those pieces of art most because you can also wear them. I found the textile wall hangings fascinating. I quilt and it was amazing to see all the different patterns they stitched into their pieces of art. I loved the ceramics. I used to dabble in ceramics so it's wonderful to see people who have taken it to the next level and have show worthy pieces. My niece made us ramen bowls for Christmas. She made them on the wheel. If she keeps it up maybe one day she can show her work in a gallery. The bites. What a wonderful spread. I used to show in galleries and all we served was wine. Here they had a full spread, enough to call dinner. The main course was the beef sliders, the appetizers included stuffed mushrooms, puff pastries, and a pear and pumpkin or butternut squash purée. All was Devine. They even had some cookies and bars for dessert. I would definitely come back for another opening reception. And so will many others. I was surprised at how crowed it was at 5pm when it begin and it was crowed all the way up till the end at 7pm. I'm glad we go there early so we could partaken in all the goodness. If you are looking for something to do on a Saturday night check out one of their art openings. Or go anytime they are open to enjoy some beautiful artwork.

The camps did provide snacks for during their break. Our kid loved the class and brought home some fun work she did. Staff and teachers were friendly and great with the kids. The gallery itself is small but beautiful. There were fun art pieces to browse while waiting. They offer membership and monthly family activities. We'll definitely stop by the family day and hopefully sign up for another camp next year.

A very special shout-out to Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Katie, who have been so kind, patient, encouraging, and supportive over the years. He has truly enjoyed all of their art classes, and now he is excited to be learning piano as well. We are so grateful for the positive, nurturing environment they create and for the lasting impact they have had on our son. Highly recommend!

We signed up for the coming semester for the mad science and art class through our homeschool charter VIE. She loved the teachers and the kids. The children got to explore robotics in the science class and she really loved the playground. Art class was not as highly mentioned as science and the playground, but its hard to compete with robotics. The academy staff were kind enough to allow her to sit in on very sort notice and even offered to waive registration fee for a honest review. This review is strictly regarding the Aquatics Complex at Sierra college…read more The USA swimming team that calls this place home hosts meets at this location on a regular basis. First the facility has been great for location for short course meets as they have a 10 lane 25 yard pool as well as a warm up pool. The site has ample parking as well as the equipment to handle these types of meets. During meets they use the lower decks of the garage so that swimmers can set up chairs and tents and this is an awesome feature especially when it is wet and rainy. This still leaves the entire parking structure open. The only issue that the aquatics complex has is that there are not enough bathrooms for larger competitions. Otherwise it has all the other amenities you would like for swim meets!

This small local business offers space for rent @ $75HR and the location is easy to find with plenty of free parking for all your guests. Space was clean, nicely decorated and could accommodate 40 guests, not sure what the other space rents for so double check with the owner. Had a very fun gender reveal party and are thankful that Just for Fun Art accepted the last minute request. We were allowed to bring our own extra decorations and food. Just make sure to clean up when you're done.
