Recently attended a gender reveal at Just For Fun Art located at 3995 N Freeway Blvd right off the business 80 & Nothgate Blvd exit. This small local business offers space for rent @ $75HR and the location is easy to find with plenty of free parking for all your guests. Space was clean, nicely decorated and could accommodate 40 guests, not sure what the other space rents for so double check with the owner. Had a very fun gender reveal party and are thankful that Just for Fun Art accepted the last minute request. We were allowed to bring our own extra decorations and food. I just had my daughter's 10th birthday party here. The kids had a great time painting and playing games in between. Carol is wonderful and her daughter led the painting. I had 11 little ones ranging from ages 5 -10 years old, and they were all able to follow along easily. We adults got to munch and catch up while the kiddos were entertained with art, and games, and played dress up with a variety of different costumes. This was such a nice and relaxing event. We had a birthday party for our 12-year-old at Just for Fun Art and it was one of the easiest parties we have had yet! There is a big open space for the for the painting lesson and the instructor was great with the kids! There is a separate space for food (we brought pizza, cupcakes, drinks and other treats). The instructor took a break halfway through the lesson for the kids to eat and sing to the birthday girl. We were able to take a bunch of group photos after the lesson AND the owner and paint instructor brought out a game for the kids to play while we waited for the kids to be picked up. I honestly want to go back to paint with friends, the owner makes you feel so comfortable and welcome that you can't help but have a wonderful time while you are there. I did a painting class here and had so much fun! I've done painting classes at other places but Just For Fun Art really stood out the best. Instructors are all so friendly and happy to assist. Classes are $25 and the canvas, paint, brushes, aprons are all provided. We were given the option to choose 3 different paintings. It was nice to have options to choose from. I like how they have some variety as I can paint something I'd actually want to hang up in my house. I felt like I was getting a private lesson because the instructor would walk around to each person and go by each person's pace. I didn't feel rushed at all to complete each step. The tables are square with 4 people on each table. There's plenty of space and elbow room. It's a great and fun place for date night or family night. I'd definitely be back! My husband planned a surprise date here and it was perfect. The host was so accommodating, there were plenty of pre drawn canvases (but we opted for blank canvases) just because we're both free style artist's. Paints, brushes, and guidance were all offered. We were able to bring our own snacks and wine while left to our own artistic mood. I loved the atmosphere and space that we were given. Attached is my Art created from this event. She allowed us to book on a Sunday even though the studio is normally closed! We had about 12 kids for the paint party. The studio had ample space. Carolyn's worked with the kids and was very patient with them. She even had games setup just to give the kids a break from painting like musical chairs which the kids enjoyed. Just for fun art is my favorite supply store for all my paints, glitters, stencils, and balloons for our business. The owner Carolyn is just the sweetest thing and is so genuine. She throws face painting and balloon twisting jams once a month which are great!! Everyone brings a dish and Artists from all over come to these events and share each others knowledge and have small fun competitions. It's nice to get familiarized with all the other entertainers, and pick up a couple new tricks and designs along the way. It's networking at its finest. She also will shoot you some business if she has an overflow. And every once in a while she has really well known artist come and teach a class for a small fee, So that everyone has a chance to improve their art.
