This is my go to spot whenever I need to find a gift for my girlfriend ! I'm always looking for small boutiques that have unique pieces that my girlfriend would love . Whether it's a nice dress or a nice piece of locally handmade jewelry this is the best spot I've found in San Diego . The owner is always a doll helping me pick something out " don't tell my girlfriend " and has always made me look good ! The location is great because there's so much to do if you head down there . I can knock out my shopping and grab some food and drinks at literally six or seven great spots in a few blocks vicinity . I highly recommend any guy that has trouble like me , picking something out for his deserving babe to take a stroll " no pun intended " down there . read more

Shop local and shop here. I always leave with something. Stroll is the cutest boutique with the best owner. Katie is a conscious buyer/shop owner who sells products/clothes that make you feel good. It can be pricey, the clearance rack is amazing but you get the goods/services that you pay for. I'm always a happy shopper when I walk away. If you are in San Diego it's worth the stroll! read more

In short, Stroll is dangerous. I used to walk there all the time with a good friend not really intending to buy anything, but I'd undoubtedly always leave with at least 2 pieces. Oops? I moved out of town to Austin, and I miss it so much. It was my favorite boutique in SD. If you're like me, you don't want to wear the same things as everyone else, and Stroll always has curated cute stuff from jackets to jewelry to swimwear to candles. The owner, Katie, is super welcoming and friendly and has stellar taste. I can't tell you how many compliments I get from the manyyy (and yes it's many) items I have from stroll including an embroidered vintage Levi's jacket that's one of my most prized possessions, my favorite distressed black jean shorts, a super fun deep V-neck rainbow one piece, and a beaded tote to name a few. I even got to model some pieces I probably should have brought home let's be real because Katie is so cool like that. When you love everything, it's hard to choose. This is my go to store whenever I feel like treating myself for a day of shopping. The clothes are really really tasteful and I am never disappointed or leave empty handed after visiting. They are also friendly and helpful, some of the outfits I have loved the most are ones that they have suggested for me to try on. It's literally my FAVORITE clothing store in San Diego. I just stopped in for the first time today. I've passed by the store before and have never looked in but I'm so glad I finally checked it out. I spoke with the owner (I think) for a bit about her plant selection and had a really awesome experience. I ended up buying some ivy and a Black Pagoda plant to decorate my home. I bought a few items just 5 days ago, never used the items, they are in perfect condition with the original tags on 'em, but returns are not allowed in this store no matter what. Just an exchange is allowed within 14 days. Terrible for the consumer rights! That is why small businesses can not grow. Will never shop here again. read more

Love this place! Great variety of stuff and everything is really unique. Lot's of local, handmade and truly creative, good quality items. Not some cheap stuff from online shops that you're not sure what you'll get. I got a dress and 2 tops a few weeks ago and my mom liked them so much I ended up giving them to her then went back and repurchased again for myself. Recently also picked up 2 necklaces and a bracelet along with another top and have gotten a ton of compliments just within the few days of wearing them. Will keep coming back for more! read more

This place is so cute, and so close! it's a quick walk for a last minute outfit. I love that they carry items from other small businesses and it's always the most unique and precious jewelry, candles, hand bags even dog collars and other cute trinkets. when this place first opened, I was super excited. the clothes are always fashionable, and they were easily affordable. Sadly, I can't afford to shop here anymore, they have raised their prices so much that I don't even stop in anymore because I know the price tags will just scare me right out. it's disappointing because some of their brands aren't generally as pricey as they are here, the items go for half the price at Mimi and Red or Melrose in the OC. ): read more

This is such a cute place!! I've browsed here a couple times but had an experience today that made me want to write a review! I was looking around with a friend who was admiring some earrings, but didn't want to buy anything for herself that day. They were such a stylish pair of earrings and definitely her style, so I picked up the earrings, passed them and my card to the cashier, and asked her to charge me discreetly. She understood perfectly, rung me up, and handed me the earrings (in a darling pouch!) along with my card, without my friend even having a hint as to what was going on. I gifted them to her a bit later and she loved them! And confessed she had no idea how I managed to buy them without her noticing - well it was obviously all due to the woman working in the store and her kindness in assisting me with the surprise!
